I used to use a chain pharmacy, but I came and ate at the fountain side and bought a few things from the pharmacy. The staff at the pharmacy were so helpful and friendly to my family and me that I transferred all my prescriptions to them instead. I've never been disappointed with their quick service or great staff. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful hidden gem. Not only is it a pharmacy but also a diner with classic style drinks and great food. I love there egg salad sandwich and I enjoy their breakfast as well. The wait time might be a Lil high because theres one cook but it's worth it.

I order from the restaurant menu. The food is a good portion and always good. The price is excellent. The staff is friendly and polite. I do believe they have brunch also, I highly recommend this place

These ppl are so sweet! There’s a hospitality here that you won’t find at many other places. And that’s not to mention the food they serve! All priced well and tastes so damn good you’ll forget your in a pharmacy lol

Went there to have my son's throat swabbed for a quick strep culture. Very polite. It's neat to find a pharmacy with old style candy and old games. Love the counter for Facebook likes! Thanks for helping us out today!

Been here twice now. Food is good, homemade like, good portions, and filling. The staff are very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. Will definitely be coming back.

I have been using this pharmacy for a little over a year now. They are always professional and prompt in letting me know when my prescriptions are ready. When I swing in there is usually little to no wait at all. The cashiers are always friendly. Pricing is fair and a couple times I have asked if it seemed a bit high and they always double check to make sure insurance info was entered correctly and quickly fix the issue. Ive also bought quite a few cool little treats for my kids here like polarized children’s sunglasses, Melissa and Doug toys and funky pops. There is a little arcade there too my kids always beg to play in if I have a little wait while they fill scripts which is nice. The fountain has breakfast sandwiches that are absolutely incredible. I suggest giving them a try!

Old time lunch counter and pharmacy. All the old time stuff too, candy, medicine, one of the last soda fountain style pharmacies.

Went here last weekend for breakfast so I could see what’s kept them around all these years. And I gotta say this place is really a hidden gem just looking outside you wouldn’t guess there’s a restaurant in there. The pharmacy has everything you can think of even bait an tackle. But the food and the prices are the best around an these employees are very kind can’t wait to go back.

In this day and time it is extremely rare to get good service and good food. Extremely rare and usually you don't get either. However at Irwin's Pharmacy they still believe in great food and great customer service that will make you want to return. This is truly rare. Kudos to the leadership and the cooks because you are a rarity in this world.

This place is awesome. As many as have stated. You can get food while you wait on your prescriptions. But honestly the diner is worth going out of your way for. The staff is super friendly. And attentive and fast. I got the roast with carrots and red potatoes and it was on point. I definitely recommend this as a place to go eat in Chesapeake and will be going back.

Moved back to the area and stopped in for a breakfast sandwich. After working in the industry myself many years ago I can appreciate the staffs genuine warm attitudes and even calling me by name. Will be back and recommend Irwin’s for a great place to grab a bite.

This store is very cool and unique! Everyone is friendly. Meds are filled quickly. The grill is always busy. Old 50s music plays constantly, giving the store a very happy and friendly atmosphere. They carry old school candy too. It’s like stepping back in time!

This place is an amazing place to go or have your prescriptions delivered to you. The customer service is EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and the driver that I have deliver my prescription is a young man who is very sweet and knows me and doesn't give me a hard time EVER. I really APPRECIATE HIS Prompt attention and he calls before he shows up so I can get to my porch and meet him. Much RESPECT!!!.

Love this blast from the past. The pharmacist are friendly and helpful. They have unique toys and candies for children including wooden toys, beautiful stuffed animals and puzzles. The diner is very basic but perfect. The staff work hard and put out a good breakfast and sandwiches. The root beer floats are enough, by themselves, to go there. And the milkshakes are made with ice cream and milk as they should be. No powdered stuff used here and the difference is unbelievable. You'll never drink another McDonald's milkshake after treating yourself to one of these.

Friendly people who pay attention to the customer and to detail. I have also found them to fill your prescription faster than any other Pharmacy I've been to. I have used Irwin's for years and have never had a problem. All the people here treat you more like a neighbor and less like just the average customer as some other pharmacies do.
I will always be a return customer.

I have been using Irwin's off and on for more than 10 years. The people have always been amazing. Joe is fabulous and Anthony always makes me laugh. I am finally transferring all my scripts to them. Hunter spent ten minutes on the phone explaining my meds, without any prejudice because of what I take. Also that's a long time to take out of his busy schedule. I am so tired of being treated like something I am not at my other pharmacy. I am done with big chain stores. Also at Irwin's they will deliver and that's a huge plus for people who can't drive They also have a grill that serves some great food but my fav is a grilled cheese with bacon. Dang it's good! Oh and I absolutely love the candy display. It reminds me of a candy store I went to as a child. Trust me, you need to transfer to this store!
