Such a great place to stay. The history is really interesting and it feels nice to know how much the hotel has been cared for over the years.

Workers are lovely and the rooms are perfect. We came from Australia and this place was worth staying in!

I don’t usually take time to do reviews but I feel like I should share this wonderful experience we had at three bear lodge. The rooms were great, beds, showers,tv, clean. Lodge had a great breakfast laid out every morning . When I ask about vegan food, the waiter said I’ll check with the chef and yes they set me up with some delicious breakfast and dinners. I have to eat vegan because of health issues. All the staff was super friendly. A friend and I rented snowmobiles, snowsuits, helmets, gloves and boots without a hitch, they make it so easy. There location makes it easy to get to trails. I want to thank ThreeBear Lodge for a great snowmobile experience.

We came out from Virginia to come see Montana. The staff were amazing. Very accommodating and helpful. David (shaggy) took us on a tour of old faithful and was actually from Virginia. He was funny and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time out on the snowmobiles. Lynn was very patient and he took us to some amazing views. Totally worth every penny

Just an FYI- looking at an older review, I saw someone had their reception here but just learned they no longer allow food in their conference rooms. However, the front desk person at the hotel was very nice and informative and patient while going over room rates.

We booked this place via a Google search and we weren’t sure what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. The location is awesome, right in the heart of the town. We were welcomed by the staff upon check-in with smiles and the best cookies. Our room was located in the rear of the lodge, we were able to drive right up and park in front of our door. We reserved a jacuzzi suite, which we highly recommend! The room was clean, retro, large and the jacuzzi was huge and deep! It was great to soak after a long day in the park. We drove to the Wild Bill’s Pizza saloon for supper and live music. You can easily walk there, but we drove. We came back, soaked and went to bed. The bed was quite comfortable and the linens were soft and clean. The next morning we walked to breakfast and checked out some of the local souvenir shops. The line to get into the park was backed up due to the Labor Day weekend, so we hung out in the lobby and had a nice chat with the ladies working the check-in, so friendly and helpful. We highly recommended this vintage lodge. Next time we’re here we will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great experience!

We came here after the luxury-turned-cheap-motel experience that was the Lake Yellowstone Hotel. We found the staff accommodating and knowledgable about the area. The beds were very comfortable, and the showers were wonderful. The pool and spa were well-kept and easy to use. The pool is kept at a warm temperature. The bathrooms even had a heating feature to dry our swimsuits!

The attached restaurant was quaint, but the food was great and the portion sizes were massive - go with a big appetite! Service was a little slow, but the portion sizes more than made up for that. The location is also filled with history that is proudly displayed. This is a great go-to for anyone planning a Yellowstone vacation!

Was pleasantly surprised by this place. The rooms were nothing fancy, but they were spacious and in a great location near Yellowstone and some food/shopping. The staff at check-in and check-out were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations in the local area. Vouchers for the sit-down breakfast were a good perk too. We would stay here again if visiting Yellowstone in the future. Thank you!

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed the park and area. The hotel is clean, comfortable and our room was larger than the usual hotel room. The location being close to everything and close to the park entrance is a plus. The staff from the general manager to the front desk to the housekeepers were wonderful. The rates here are better than most and provide great value. If I was to travel back to Yellowstone I would happily stay here again.

My only suggestion to how the rooms could be improved is more electrical outlets. With all the electronic devices that need charging these days you need outlets. Also, more ways to place or hang clothing in the bathroom when showering.

The breakfast voucher that you receive when staying with them is good for $10 towards breakfast for each person. We were able to eat every day at no additional cost, saving us maybe $40 per day for three people. A very nice added benefit.

Nice folks, great value and location make Three Bears an excellent choice when staying in West Yellowstone.

What an amazing experience we had in West Yellowstone! We spent two nights there in the third week of August 2023. We were pleasantly surprised by the high-quality room at an affordable rate and the fantastic amenities. My personal favorite was the Jacuzzi, or as they called it, the spa. They had two of them, with one heated to a cozy 105 degrees Fahrenheit. After a long drive from SLC, I indulged in a 30-minute soak right after checking in.

The senior ladies working at the front desk were incredibly kind and welcoming. Unlike our previous experiences, they didn't react with disbelief when they saw Chinese tourists. We had dinner at their in-house restaurant, and most of the staff we interacted with were some of the nicest people we've ever met. Normally, we might feel a bit apprehensive in areas predominantly populated by rural Americans, but in West Yellowstone, we felt completely at ease. We're already planning to visit again in the future!

We stayed here 2 nights during a 2-week vacation. This was by far my kids' favorite hotel. We reserved the Three Bears room that has a Papa Bear (K), Mama Bear (Q) and 2 Baby Bear beds in their own little "cabin" (one Twin and the other is a toddler bed). We were pleased the Papa Bear bed is in it's own bedroom, so there was plenty of privacy (and snore blocker). There are cute plaques with quotes from the story around the rooms. The room was cute, big, clean, comfortable, with a lovely walk-out deck. The hotel is 5 min from Yellowstone west gate, and complementary breakfast is provided at the restaurant next door. They were short on staff, so one of the mornings was buffet service. The 2nd morning we were able to order off the menu. This was nicer than your typical continental breakfast. The front desk staff was pleasant and they were desperately trying to give us fresh-baked cookies when we checked out. The only downside is there is no elevator. That kinda sucked because there were 5 of us - one with mobility issues - and we had a LOT of stuff for a 2 week road trip that we had to haul up and down stairs. There are also no USB ports, so bring a block or 2. If we ever head to Yellowstone again, this is the first place we're going to check out. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Stayed here during the Yellowstone off-season. Received a great rate on a motel room and when we arrived, they upgraded us for free to the lodge! The employees were super kind and helpful with letting us know which establishments in town were open. The rooms were clean and spacious. I enjoyed my stay here and would love to stay again during the summer or snowmobile season.

The rooms are perfectly themed for the Yellowstone vibe! Major pluses were the very kind office ladies offering us cookies & the jacuzzi tub right in our room! I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel saved us. Most of the campsites were closed, so we found this wonderful, cozy place for good price and just few minutes from Yellowstone NP. Beautiful, large and equipped rooms. Super cleaning. Possibility to pay in cash. The possibility to use the hot tube, coffee or tea in the corridor, laundry for a few dollars and a bonus surprise was free breakfast. Good wifi. Love it.

We were very happy to stay here. It was our first time going to Yellowstone and a lot of the places were packed. But we managed to find a place here. The room we received had a cute bear climbing right outside of the window which my children loved.

Outside of staying inside the park, staying in West Yellowstone is a wonderful option. We checked into this place and from the very beginning it was a pleasant experience. The front desk staff was very warm and quite welcoming. We made our way to our room and to our surprise it was larger than we had anticipated. The room was also very clean and beyond comfortable. It was nice to be in such a great location but also always nice to have a fridge and microwave so that we could keep drinks and snacks when we wanted them. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we plan a visit to Yellowstone.

The Motel was very nice, to include the Restaurant and all the Friendly Staff. I booked a Snowmobile Package through them and the Snowmobile suit package I believe was New this year or maybe a year old. Very Nice and warm when riding in 16 below temperatures.

Also their Snowmobiles are only New or 1 year old.

Yellowstone National Park has been on my Bucket list for 30 to 35 years.

Seeing the Beauty in that Park and the Quaint Little town of West Yellowstone I will be going back and staying with 3 Bear Lodge again.
