Alpine Motel

All the great reviews we read online are true. Brian and Patty are wonderful hosts. They gave us great info on the area when we arrived. Room was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend the Alpine as a top place to stay in West Yellowstone.

Excellent family motel. So conveniënt right in the middle of West Yellowstone town and near park entrance.
The owners are really really sweat and heartwarming and helpful.
Very clean, fresh and comfy room. Everything you need during your roadtrip and stay in Yellowstone.

We are typically Hilton fans, but over 2 weeks of vacation, this was the best hotel we booked. Brian and Patty are absolutely great. The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable, and affordable. We had a dedicated parking spot. If we needed anything, they were on top of it. The location in relation to West entrance of Yellowstone was ideal. Practically a straight shot, and about an hour from Old Faithful. We stayed 2 nights in the Upstairs Kitchen Unit. Be sure to listen to Brian and Patty about their restaurant recommendations as well!

Booked this for our Yellowstone trip based on reviews I read...which were on point! The owners are amazing. I've never stayed anywhere or met anyone more accommodating. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, and the location is great...you can walk everywhere! Would 100% recommend them for visiting Yellowstone NP.

The Alpine Motel is my only place to stay when I’m in West Yellowstone. This is a super clean, mom and pop ran old school motel with Brian and Patty providing true western hospitality. They charge a fraction of the price compared to anyone else in town, and the rooms are spotless, comfy, and updated. Brian and Patty are great at recommending places in town for meals and coffee among others. In past visits Brian has let us borrow a cooler for picnics in the park and has even got the snow off our windshield for us. The real highlight is seeing Mr. Marmont, who is shy but Brian did share his favorite hang out spots with us so I was finally able to get his photo. Yes, you have to pick up the phone to inquire about a reservation and you have to use an old school key to get into your room, but the old school charm of having to do this the old way, and being treated like an old friend is what makes this motel stand out. I will always stay here, and will always recommend this motel without hesitation to anyone. Thanks Brian and Patty for another awesome stay!!

Alpine served as a perfect launching pad for us to see Yellowstone. The owner showed excellent hospitality “Montana style” showing us to our room, helping us with dinner plans late at night and answering any questions we might have upon arrival. The room itself serves its purpose and was maintained well. Very clean. Would definitely recommend to any traveling on a budget!

A real home away from home. The owners Brian and Patty are just so nice and welcoming. They made us feel appreciated and had great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit/things to do.
The room was big and clean, with a good fridge.
Also, as Brian says "having good WiFi is important"... So true when you're traveling from far away!

Our stay at Alpine Motel was great! We were here for 3 nights during early June 2022 and could not have had a better stay. First, the location was perfect since it's so close to the park entrance and within walking distance of several eateries. The owners, Brian and Patty, are super nice and very knowledgable about the local area and the park itself. Their recommendations for local eateries were spot on. The rooms are very clean and comfy. We would definitely stay here again if we decide to come back to Yellowstone.

We stayed for 3 nights during which we visited Yellowstone NP. The motel is lovely, and Brian and Petty make it a great stay. They help you with everything and you can have free coffee/tee + snacks.
If you wanna stay at west Yellowstone, you definetly should stay at alpine motel. For this price you won't find anything better!!

This place is THE best option for staying in West Yellowstone. The hosts are phenomenal, think of everything, and truly make you feel welcome. The room was spotless, and there is free coffee all day. For the price, it doesn’t get any better! Recommendations for what to do/eat around town helped us a lot too.

Great place to stay. Stayed 4 nights to do Yellowstone during the day. 10" drive to West Entrance from the hotel. The hosts were super friendly. The hotel is clean and nice. The small complaint was that the entire hotel was small and the parking was tight. This did not affect us at all, but be ware if yoy need space. Would recommend to anyone need a good place to stay. Exactly what we needed for our vacation!

We stayed in July. We travel constantly and I'm always concerned about where we end up staying, it was the perfect location for us to explore Yellowstone, especially Old Faithful. The room was clean and the perfect size for us. The owners Brian and Patty were super nice and accommodating. Upon check in Brian provided us with a map of West Yellowstone and gave us his recommendations for several restaurants. His pizza recommendations was good. The only downside was I would have preferred to have coffee in the room.

The room was clean and comfortable. Have a fridge, a/c, ceiling fan, hairdryer. If you need a microwave, you can use the one in the office. Brian and Patty are very nice. Can suggest places to eat if you want. Also has Wi-Fi.
Out of 4 or 5 places we stayed last week, I liked this one the best.

Our family had a great stay! Brian and Patty are fantastic hosts that keep their property in fantastic condition. The room was spotless. Probably the cleanest and best kept room I've stayed in. The location is great for walking to anywhere you want to go in town. If you're in West Yellowstone, I'd definitely stay at the Alpine instead of one of the chains.

Clean and comforable the room had everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The owners are frindely and very knowledgeable. We had yo change our stay from 4 nights to 3 nights and Brian was very accommodating with this. We would stay there again on our next trip back to Yellowstone.

This is a great, friendly and clean place to stay. Brian and Patty are great hosts! Brian will greet you and make sure you have the lay of the land. Patty will make sure you have everything you need and that your room is nice and clean. Close to local shopping and all the food places. Easy to walk to all the evening activities. I stayed 3 nights in August 2022 and loved every part of my stay!

Rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was kind and accommodating, making me feel welcomed. You can tell that their heart is in the work, and they work hard to make the place great!

This will be my first choice for any future visit to Yellowstone! Fully & strongly recommend!

Okay I cannot say enough good things about this place and Brian. From booking on the phone to staying here the experience was so good. The welcome we received is unparalleled. So helpful and so kind. So nice! Snacks and goodies in the office. The room itself was perfect for us. Very cute and the bed was so comfortable we overslept our alarm! And it’s location cannot be beat. Just a block or so outside the park and right in the middle of West Yellowstone’s restaurants and shops. Made a perfect base for Yellowstone adventures. We loved it! Would and will recommend to anyone!
