Evergreen Motel

It's a nice little place. We traveled to Yellowstone National Park and needed a place to stay overnight and that's a perfect place for that purpose. It's just a 3 min drive from the park entrance. The front desk assistants were very polite. One inconvenience that we found was that not every room has a microwave and we had to take our meals to a laundry room where there was one that could be used by guests. The room itself was nice and clean. And it was pleasant to find a handwritten greeting card on the desk. So lovely!

My husband and I stayed here at the end of June to visit Yellowstone after spending time in Jackson/Grand Tetons.

The check-in lobby presents a feeling of
'welcome home'. Our greeting and interactions we had with Dayva was top notch. She was professional, friendly and offered great recommendations for the area. Complimentary coffee, teas, snacks and morning pastries were appreciated after our long days.

Room #7: A personalized welcome note and two waters were in the room waiting for us, a great touch!! I love and appreciate the little details. The room was a bit small, but had all that we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, as were the pillows. We would have loved a microwave in the room, although they do offer one in the laundry room. A hook on the bathroom door would be helpful too.

Location: West Yellowstone entrance is
3-5min drive. Local restaurants, souvenir shops and market are all within walking distance. Wild West Bar - delicious pizza.

I would recommend staying here if you are looking for comfort, clean rooms, great staff and location.

This was our first time coming to town and we’re delighted by this motel. The lobby was beautifully decorated with a lovely smell of lavender hitting you as you walked in. The rooms are just as adorable and very clean. They also have a laundry room on site which was a big bonus!
I would recommend this spot if you’re looking for lodging close to Yellowstone.

Edit: my only critique is that the walls are thin and the floors creek. It was difficult to get a good sleep because you can hear every step your neighbors take.

The Evergreen is a wonderful value in a town packed with lodging options. The positive reviews are accurate, and it’s a great place to stay. You’ll check in with professional and cheerful staff who are prepared for your arrival. You’ll find a fresh, clean, modern room with a very comfortable bed, and a bathroom with essentials and great water pressure. The motel also provides invaluable restaurant recommendations and other local information.
The location is fantastic, walkable to anything you’d need, and just a three-minute drive from the west entrance to Yellowstone.

I loved our stay here while visiting Yellowstone. Very nice staff, rooms, location, and parking. The rooms are small but very comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. All the employees are welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Price: The Evergreen is very overpriced for what it is, but that is the same for any other place within such close proximity of Yellowstone. Compared to other hotels in the same category, the pricing here seems to be fairly competitive.
Condition: Our motel was very clean, everything seems to be in good condition. It seems like they recently renovated everything here. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, but that is to be expected for this price range in West Yellowstone.
Breakfast: They had pastries and hot chocolate, but the pastries were stale and not worth eating.
Size of Rooms: The rooms are really small, really only suitable for 2 people. We had a baby and we’re able to set up a pack n play next to the bed, but don’t plan on fitting more than that.
Atmosphere: Pretty nice little place overall, it’s not like a typical roadside motel. They’ve put in a little work into the details which makes the Evergreen a pleasant place to stay.

This place is magic. Quaint rooms that are tastefully decorated ... and they literally thought of everything. You can easily walk to the shops and restaurants and you are right near the entrance to Yellowstone. We are on a journey across the country and this is by far our favorite place we have stayed. The staff are super friendly, warm, and helpful. The staff speaks highly of the owners, making me feel even better about supporting this small business. We booked another night just so we can enjoy this place longer!

I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. Rooms are very pretty, with modern rustic decor and very clean. Loved it so much we decided to stay on west side again. Best room we’ve found for the price. If we ever come to visit Yellowstone again we will stay here. The only things i wish were different about this place are: bigger parking lot as it’s a tight squeeze in spots and there’s no continental breakfast. Other than that, this place is top notch! Que was great and very friendly

I don't know what I expected from staying at the Evergreen motel, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much we loved it. The decor was super cute and made us feel like we were staying in an updated log cabin. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was spotless. I will always recommend staying here, and I will come back. We got an excellent deal on the room through Expedia, too, so look out for those.

We just checked in a few hours ago and this place already Exceeds Expectations. Newly remodeled. The lobby is really cute. Free snacks and super friendly front desk people. The rooms are small, but everything is new and SO clean. Comfy bed. Really nice towels! Clean bathroom. Overall super impressed. I was afraid of a “motel” but this is far from a motel and deserves way more than 2-star hotel that Google dubs it.

Loved it! Such a cute little motel! We arrived after 9p and found our keys in a small envelope by the office door which was convenient. The room had nice decor suitable for the location, very clean, and smelled nice. Location was great as well! Loved the welcome postcard in the unit, as well as the little card left in the room with weather updates. Only thing is they didn’t have any body lotion.

Our evergreen motel was the perfect place to stay while visiting Yellowstone. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. It's walking distance to everything in town.

Incredible place to stay when visiting Yellowstone. The thought of staying in a motel was initially odd as motels do not have the best of reputations, but we were blown away. The front office was so clean and the staff were friendly and attentive and very personable. When we walked into our room, we loved the decor and character of it. If I ever go back to Yellowstone, I would absolutely stay at this motel again.

Stayed there for a few nights in 2015. Very good rooms with a cabin flavor. Very affordable. The owner was super nice, when he realized we forgot our bear pepper spray for our hike, he lent us his own to use. Nice bed and comfortable pillows. I had a very bad experience trying to help local business once, so I generally try to avoid local businesses. But this one was completely opposite. I had a peaceful stay and felt welcome.

My room isn't huge, but has all that I need. At check-in I got a nice page of motel info, plus a list of restaurants. Also had a nice hand-written welcome note on the desk in my room. Very comfortable bed.. Location is convenient to the west entrance to Yellowstone.

Wonderful little place! Comfortable beds and linen. Shower and bath were small but VERY clean. Radiator heat worked great. No AC and no ceiling fan so beware of summer traveling.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights while on a trip through Yellowstone and could not have been more impressed. Nice decor, clean rooms, cheap laundromat. It was run by a younger couple who were super friendly. They even had home made chocolate chip cookies when we arrived. Considering the area, the price was very affordable for the summer. I've stayed in a lot of motels, you won't find one as nice as this.

This was such a pleasant little botique hotel. When we checked in, they gave us an awesome list of their favourite restaurants as well as a map of the area. There was also a hand written note welcoming us during our stay (wonderful little touch) and the bed was super comfortable. If we pass through West Yellowstone again, we will definitely book here!

Loved this place. My husband and I stayed here two nights in unit 16, king deluxe. Best motel on our 10 day trip. So many thoughtful comforts, coin laundry on site, walking distance to everything, yet quiet and spotlessly clean.
