This is a delightful gem of a museum run by some fantastic and passionate and knowledgeable folks. The kids had a great day wandering around, seeing the Caboose on display and watching trains go by.

This place is a real gem! The staff here were excellent. They have tons of kid friendly activities here along with some great historical information. Definitely worth checking out.

Went for the national train day event on May 13th 2023. Was decent. Just the right amount of events for a first grader and not too much to be overwhelming for him.

Beautiful building, amazing model trains, and creative displays. The staff are very knowledgeable on the station and county history. The "kids" room is also a nice touch. I will definitely be going back this summer for the new caboose that has been added to the outside display track!

Great space and exhibits. We had a great chat with our tour guide and learned so much. The stories and pictures on signs were interesting and very readable.

Great bit of local history, went on train day, so it was a bit crowded, but other than that I enjoyed it.

Countless hours of selfless volunteer determination were put into restoring this gem. The detail involved in curating artifacts for period accuracy is top notch. Lots to see and learn, including a simulator where you can be the engineer on a ride from Williamsburg to Newport News. A docent 'on board' rounds out the engaging tour.

Love the look of it. Never been inside but it does have a Pokemon stop and is pretty cool to just see. There is a history marker that can be read. If your passing it's worth driving through the lot.
