A family restaurant with a number of TVs showing sports events. Posters of the landscape of the state of Chihuahua adorn the walls. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food is very good and attractively presented. There are a few selections that have a Chihuahuan spin on them. Highly recommended!

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would! The food is the most authentic Mexican as one can find in this area and it's consistently delicious. I love that the owner and the wait staff are always very attentive to service. The atmosphere is casual and very relaxed and did i mention already how delicious the food is? I know i did but it's worth mentioning again!
If you haven't tried them yet, don't wait, just go. You will not be disappointed!
Lunch fajita and a steak burrito (no tortilla). Lunch for 2 with plenty leftover for dinner.

Had the Pollo Chihuahua and the Texas margarita. Everything was FANTASTIC. This is my new Mexican restaurant. Service was great, and it has a small, charming sports bar vibe. Love it.

All of our meals were delicious and the service was great! VERY popular place so you may have to wait a few minutes to be seated.

Delicious food and friendly staff! You go in and they all have this welcoming smile. They truly make you feel welcome. The prices are reasonable, by the way tuesday kids eat free! FYI

First time here for an early lunch today and they did not disappoint. The service was fast and the food was delicious. I had the lunch special chicken enchiladas. The chicken was tender and the enchilada sauce was flavorful. Unlike some places I’ve been they did not skimp on the ingredients. The pico de gallo was fresh and light complimenting the heavier flavors of the enchilada. Another great place to add for lunch when I’m in the area.

We just finished our first order for delivery and I have to rave how incredibly
delicious everything was. From the kids meals to thier delicious tacos, nachos, and thier rice and incredible horchata everything was top notch delicious. Highly recommend, and everything was delivered nice and warm.

Love this place! It is our family and friend's favorite local Mexican resteraunt. Great taste and portions and still reasonbly priced. Staff is wonderful; accomodating, and friendly. Highly recommended!

I ordered the famous chiles rellenos ($12.99) to go for dinner which consisted of 2 poblano peppers stuffed with cheese and rice and beans on the side. They were delicious. Plus, I was given chips and homeade salsa with my to go order which I did not expect. I loved the garlicky salsa and the chips were very fresh. This is the best Mexican food I've had in Newport News, VA.

Let me start with saying that I come here at least once every couple weeks. I always come back because of the friendly service, great foods, and good prices. Their complementary chips and salsa are always very good. I will say that their salsa is pretty mild, so people who really love hot salsa might be a bit let down. That aside, if you're looking for a fun place to have good Mexican food without hurting your wallet, I'd suggest giving this place a try.

They have true outside seating as well as screened in seating with fans. Staff was courteous and polite. Portion sizes were great and food was tasty. I'm too nervous to eat inside with COVID but luckily this spot has good options!

Once again, I had an excellent lunch. Service is wonderful, food is great, and atmosphere is laid-back. I had the shrimp quesadilla off the lunch menu. It was very good and would order it again. I bring my friends here and they all have liked it, and they request this place when we get together.

Wow! We recently moved here from the west where there’s some legit Mexican food. We came on a Monday. I ordered the burrito grande with asada, wife ordered the asada fries, got the horchata. 10/10. Possibly the best burrito I’ve ever had. My wife said the asada fries were even better than the ones we had out west. Horchata was amazing, too! Really friendly service, too.

Absolutely love it, and Maria is the sweetest! Will be going back often.

It's been years since I reviewed this place, and they’re still one of my favorite places to go. Love this place and the staff. They’re all so friendly and awesome, and the food is always good.

Staying in the area from out of town and wanted something that wasn't a chain restaurant for dinner. Tried this place out and from the entrance I was glad I did. The hostess was so pleasant and helped me pick a dinner between the two I had in mind. I was taking it out so she offered me a seat. When my meal was ready she brought it right out and let me know everything was hot so to be careful. Again, just so helpful and pleasant. She's someone they should be proud of, because she absolutely represents the restaurant right. Food was good and portions were large. Enough for two meals. A great price as well. Thank you for being a shining light in a sea of chain restaurants 🤗
