Boathouse Live

This is a very nice venue! My friend and I attended the "who's bad" Michael jackson experience. It was so good. $15 was not bad for this professional and dedicated cover band. Bartenders are very personable and fun. Will definitely go again. They book cool acts.

We saw Lukas Nelson and had a blast! Dinner was good. Smoked chicken beans greens fried oysters salad and cheeseburger. Prices were very reasonable. Drinks were good. Show and venue were perfect! Vip was not oversold which was really cool. General admission was very comfortable as well. Bathrooms were clean. Honestly would see a show here again and again!

Finally, a place on the Peninsula that can offer great live music consistently! So glad this place opened, and have been very impressed with the bands that they have been able to line up so far. Looking forward to many years of being able to enjoy seeing bands at an affordable price as well.

I think people are forgetting it is a music venue doubling as a bar/restaurant! When they have a band on the weekends and you show up after the band starts yes you have to wait to get in. Also when you have a bar the sits 60 people or so and you also have another couple of hundred around it wanting drinks (not just beers but shaken shots and cocktails that take time to make) yes that also takes a minute to get to everyone. This place is trying to bring music to an area that usually has just local cover bands with beer and an atmosphere that people crave. I love it and will be there whenever I can. This people is why we can't have nice things!!! People want to just judge instead of looking at the bigger picture!!!

I LOVE THIS VENUE! So glad we have a new place to go see live music. The food was great and staff was AMAZING! I highly recommend the smoked chicken, fried oysters, and southern greens. Definitely our new favorite spot.

Great venue! Every King & Commoner hit a grand slam!

The Boathouse brought in an all male review and my friend and I both decided we would take a leap of faith. We had a fabulous time. I will go back to the Boathouse over and over again. It was amazing.
If your favorite band or event is coming to The Boathouse soon you need to make sure you sit with Jessica. She was our bartender and server for this VIP event. She is absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough about her.

I had a great experience at Boathouse Live and enjoyed myself thoroughly for Cradle of Filth. I recently heard that they are shutting down, but I hope this is not true because it was a good venue and I was happy with the VIP area that was provided. If they do remain open I would recommend visiting for a good show!

Great place to come for live music as well as food and drinks 👍 they also have 6 pool tables i believe and quick service the time i was there. Its in a convenient location in city center at oyster point so it is very easy to get free parking, anytime, in the parking garages they have connected to the same building.

Saw Nirvanna... Nirvana cover band. Great band. Great place to watch the show. Had VIP tickets. It was nice to sit and talk before the show. A nice place. I look forward to going back.

Bar/music venue. Great staff...great live music (local and outside). VIP area has lounge seating and it's own bar and bathroom. Very cool place. Crowd is mixed ages.

Pretty cool place. Awesome concert venue. foods a little steep but the staff is really cool and keeps up on everyone. Would recommend.

This place is awesome. I love the bartenders and the girls at the door are AWESOME! The atmosphere is cool and they are very good with making sure everyone stays chill.

This venue has really stepped up the game! What a great addition to Newport News! Awesome food, great staff and the best line up I've ever seen in Hampton Roads!
