OMG Sushi

Great made-to-order sushi! The all you can eat is my favorite! 15.95 for lunch when I went. Green tea was delicious! Servers are always nice even when they are busy! :) tip your servers ☺

Amazing for the price. $25 per peson makes me worry they are losing money on the all-you-can-eat menu. Sushi is good (not the best, but worthwhile), hibachi is awesome, sashimi is amazing, soups are awesome. Nothing tastes sub-par. Pro tip, order Tuna Tartare and then order extra tuna sashimi and mix it all together.

Best sushi in Newport News. Best sushi in Virginia. I would drive 3 hours just to eat here. All you can eat for roughly $21. Plenty of variety on the AYCE menu for people who don't like sushi too. You MUST come here if you want sushi!!!!

All-you-can-eat sushi at a reasonable price. Paid about $25/person before tip and taxes, but thats not the important part.

The servers were friendly, and great conversationalists. One of them talked with my roommate and I about music after they were jamming out and getting into the groove. The other was a bit on the quieter side but was quick to respond to empty drinks/plates. There were even a few jokes here and there when the servers had a few moments.

As for the food: the fried calimari was phenomenal! Ive had a lot of calimaro, but that was the first time Ive had an order that came out exactly right. The breading was even seasoned, which you almost never see. The sushi was pretty standard fare for the most part, but the quality for the price is pretty hard to beat!

If you're passing through Newport News I'd highly recommend going for the All-you-can-eat menu here. There's also an Al carte option available for those wanting something on the go.

Salmon was fresh. Server was very friendly. Got the regular menu. Friends who did the “all you can eat” find it a bit annoying to order again and again.

I love this place. My wife have been going here since it opened. I always get the "OMG roll" and traditional nigiri tuna and salmon sushi. There are other very good specialty rolls, like the "Volcano" roll. I mostly visit for their "made to order" "all you you can eat" lunch special. This special includes sushi, salad, and appetizers. It's reasonably priced and delicious. The staff is always very hospitable and the interior is nice. I haven't been here for dinner

Best all you can eat sushi on the peninsula. Awesome sushi, awesome price. Nothing to complain about here. I frequent this restaurant and never have had nothing to complain about. The staff is always friendly and very attentive. You never have to worry about your drinking getting empty.

Ordered via Door dash and was very pleased with my order. I got three rolls: Black Dragon, Tokyo, and Mango; miso soup, salad, and an order of omelette. The rolls were fresh and well constructed, and I would order from here again.

On a hunt for good and affordable AYCE sushi I stumbled on OMG. They only had the dinner menu available when I went for lunch so it was more than I was hoping to spend. That being said, I was absolutely not disappointed. The sashimi portions were huge and the peppered tuna (pictured) was excellent. The staff was friendly and the food was very fresh. Would absolutely recommend.

Good all you can eat sushi. We went for lunch so it was a little limited but all the rolls we had were yummy. Great deal on the sushi and there are hot selections included too.

Had what was probably our best experience here. Food was excellent as always. Service was fantastic. This was our 4th or 5th experience and we continue to enjoy it.

Great food and friendly staff. The entire restaurant is clean. The servers are great at answering any questions you may have about the sushi, sashimi or any of their many entrees. They also provide fast and courteous service! There is rarely a wait time. The wait time to get food ordered is minimal. The restaurant environment is casual. My family agrees it's the best sushi restaurant in our area. They enjoy the all you can eat option which basically allows you to pick from everything they have to offer (appetizers, entrees, sushi, sashimi, soups, and salads). I personally love their beef hibachi (picture attached).

Best Sushi in the state. Hands down. No argument. The atmosphere is also amazing. If you haven't been you need to go.

This place is good and very authentic. I lived in Asia for 5yrs and until I walked out I forgot I was in Virginia, Newport News at that.

SUPER HUGE FRESH ROLLS. My friends an I really wanted sushi during lockdown but sushi is expensive al a cart! So we found this place that does platters and plates. We ordered the omg platter for $150. That included tip and tax. We split it 4 ways and had a sushi FEAST. They made it super quick and we picked it up and brought it home. The pieces are HUGE and super fresh and AMAZING. Thank you guys so much this was such a treat after months of not being able to afford sushi ♡

After a last minute change in plans they were able to accommodate a large group (20+) on short notice. The staff did a great job taking care of everyone and the food came out quickly. I will definitely be back again in the future to try more of their menu.

It was slow when I went and I was able to be in & out in about half an hour. I enjoyed the food. The miso soup was surprisingly good - I’ll eat it but I don’t care for it as I don’t like seaweed or tofu, but their broth was so good I’d happily get seconds. They have all you can eat options, but also check out the lunch deals.

The only place I go to for sushi! I’m a regular I love how they know my order by heart now when I call. I’m a pretty picky sushi eater and I can’t speak highly enough on how fresh their salmon ALWAYS is as well as their other ingredients. (It’s just always the salmon for me). Not a lot of places pay close attention to not only the quality of their raw ingredients they also give you great portions. I’m addicted. I’ve also had their all you can eat as well as their hibachi. Everything is a 10/10. Don’t walk, RUN.
