Great, dog-friendly hotel in a convenient location! We stayed over the Christmas holiday, and all of the staff we interacted with were very positive and kind. The hotel lobby was very comfortable with lots of seating options for hanging out. The lobby and rooms were very clean. Our room had a great bathroom and kitchen area with a large fridge. The only thing we’d love to see is a softer mattress! We enjoyed the free breakfast and coffee in the mornings! Doe who worked on Christmas Day was so sweet, friendly and helpful. Thank you for giving us a good holiday away from home!

Great value for the price. Clean, new and comfortable. Staff was kind and responsive. Breakfast was surprisingly good - not the usual horrible scrambled eggs. Bed was super and baths were a comfortable size. 10 minutes to entrance to Shenandoah national Park, 15 minutes to Front Royal town center- 3 breweries and some good restuarants. Try Element!

Much better than I was expecting. Also, has the BEST thermostats of any hotel room I’ve ever stayed in- cooling could be set as low as 60°! Better free breakfast than I expected too.

Our stay was great. We only wish we had booked at least two nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the employees were quick to refill anything that was low. Will be back again!

We stayed at this hotel in mid of the October while visiting the stargazing event at Shenandoah NP. The north gate is just 10 min drive from this hotel. There are good places for eating and shopping around this hotel which include Walmart.

The hotel rooms are well maintained, neat and clean. The bedding was also comfortable. We had 2 rooms booked, 1 room with 2 queen beds and another room with 1 king bed. The room with queen beds was spacious. Both the rooms had well equipped kitchen items. The hotel offers complimentary American breakfast and free parking onsite. It was worth staying at this hotel. Much recommended if you are planning to visit Shenandoah national park.

Friendly staff and clean rooms.

This was a perfect location for easy access to Shenandoah National Park and other historical points in the area.

Excellent large gym facility with cardio, free weights and room for stretching, etc.

Daily breakfast is included and the hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and a Walmart to pick up additional food and supplies.

Second stay there. Just as perfect as the first time. Plenty of room, friendly staff and very clean. Admittedly, I was also tempted to go ask to meet the manager who has been replying to reviews (Kisha). Y’all are not running over their employees on her watch. LOL

I can't complain, nice rooms, clean. The front desk manager was pretty over the top enthusiastic lol but there's nothing wrong with that. I only stayed here for 1 night and didn't eat here so I can't comment on that.

So many chains offer this sort of hotel (you know, suite, free breakfast, yada yada). But this place is head and shoulders above most. Super clean, all new looking, comfy bed, great AC system that does not clunk and bang. TV mounted in an awkward place, but not terrible and has full streaming so you can watch your stuff! And they have a BBQ and give you tools to borrow. We cooked out on the front deck, just awesome. The breakfast is the same as everywhere else. Not bad, not great, just basic food as expected. Highly recommended if in this area.

Great hotel! Service is good the rooms are very clean, and nice with a large kitchenette and good bathrooms and beds.

Brand New. The suites were fantastic. A lot of space. Very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast buffet.

The TownePlace Suites Front Royal was wonderful. The rooms were tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning/heating unit easy to use and quiet! I wished we had stayed more than one night because there was a large refrigerator and freezer, stove top, microwave AND dishwasher! What a great place to stay for an extended visit. Coffee and tea as well as dishes and pots and pans. Honestly, it was a great stay. Plus the staff was delightful and the breakfast was delicious. Regular hotel fare but plenty and hot and the gal replenishing things was busting her tush! They also had gluten free muffins!! That made me happy.
Don’t hesitate to stay. The price is right and you’ll sleep well!

Spent one night after a day visiting Shenandoah NP. The hotel is clean and still feels new. Staff were friendly and professional. The complimentary breakfast/coffee was very good although there were limited gluten free options.

My husband and I have traveled through 10 states so far and this hotel has been the BEST stay we’ve had! The hotel was so nice and very clean. Our room and bathroom were extremely clean, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable! Hands down the best bed so far! The staff/front desk were very friendly! We definitely recommend this hotel!!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Just a bit (~8 mins car ride) outside of downtown Front Royal but easily accessible to the major highways. The free breakfast was great! Lots of thoughtful touches that would make a big difference if you were staying here long term. Would definitely stay here again!
