Burger Theory

I’ve been to this location several times. The cook ALWAYS gets the burger right. Never fails. I like my burger medium rare and it’s right all the time. My boyfriend adds Borsin and onion rings. Always fresh, never miss. Their fries are also top notch.

I came in to a burger joint to review the burgers at yet another restaurant. However,it was already a mess so we went here instead. I was not disappointed. We started with rating the atmosphere. It was definitely giving a calmer vibe to chill out, eat solid food and relax. The booths were not like typical booths where it’s stiff with hard cushions. They were soft and super comfortable I could bounce on them. The waitress was super nice and attentive. They were all amazing and kind. She even asked if we had room for dessert. The food was definitely delicious. The wings were almost the size of my palm and were fresh with a side of freshly washed carrots. The burgers were absolutely reasonable for the price. They were pretty big and came with a large side. The bun was so soft it was like they used the bread from Texas Roadhouse for it. It was so good and the fries were amazing. I loved 10/10🍔👍🏽💅

Customer service was Excellent! Lauren was our waitress she addressed all of our concerns. Even though my burger was incomplete she offered concern and tried to make it right but I told her it was Okay! And the drinks she made were done just right!! If you want good burgers, burger theory is where you need to go for a top flavor burger! And may I add they are big burgers you do get your money worth!

Amazing attentive, cheerful, staff. The food that came out before ours looked awesome. The onion rings are a must have. My Burger exceeded my expectations it was cooked medium and the toppings were overflowing. My Fries with my meal were delicious and hot. My wife and son loved there meal. Kids eat free and includes a drink & icecream if you're a hotel guest if not it's inexpensive! Well worth the money! The live entertainment was excellent as well! The Chef checked personally with each table to see how your meal was. We will be coming back again.

Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience and food belly afterwards. We arrived a bit earlier for dinner so it was practically no one else in there. The friesnwe ordered had a cajun seasoning which remined of me of 5 Guys but a lighter version. Burgers are good prices as well.

Beyond good. lives up to all the reviews mentioned online. The beef is definitely real and the fries are the perfect side to go with it. Would definitely Recommend.

First time here and as I walk in I hear somebody just jamming out on a acoustic guitar with a smooth beat in the background. Totally my jam, sounds kind of like Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds Live at Luther College. The hostess was so nice and friendly, actually chatted with her for a minute. Bartender (Krystal) is solid and on point. And the Farm Burger was delicious, nom nom!! Sorry no pic of the food, it was that good.

My favorite go to place for a burger! Ground floor of the Holiday Inn. Hidden gem that few locals have even heard about. Sometimes there is live music as well.

I try not to eat bread too often and had been craving a burger for about 2 weeks. I am so glad I saved that craving for this place. The burger I had was SO good and the meal my husband got was so much he couldn't finish it. We will definitely be back.

Taco Tuesdays! We got two burgers, the Farmhouse and On The Boarder with fries and onion rings, a salmon taco to try, and a kids meal. Quality, portion size, prices, and service was great! We were especially impressed with the kids meal. Decent beer selection too. If I had one complaint, it's that every thing was a bit too saucy. Look forward to going back!

Service was extremely fast. Food was delicious, prepared just as expected. Went in on a stormy Thursday night, so it was relatively quiet, but that just showed off how this tucked away burger joint is a gem! It's connected to a Holiday inn, but don't let that fool you... The food is delicious and the staff is stellar! Extremely attentive, personable, very knowledgeable, and everything I expect from wait staff! Portion sizes are very generous, and while nott the cheapest burger in town, definitely one of the best and well worth the price! I had the Breakfast burger, medium. Cooked to perfection. The burgers will be messy, but that just makes them so much better!

Wonderful restaurant in the medical district. We ordered to go due to our young daughter. Food is absolutely amazing. We will be coming back.

Food was excellent, service was only slightly lacking. Overall it was a great place to eat! Can't believe I haven't tried this before now! Looking forward to returning!

I was really surprised there wasn’t many people dining in, so it made me a bit weary. Alas, I think it is due to the location (it’s tucked away) and there is a lot of construction vehicles around.

Upon arrival, the staff were super friendly and helpful.

The food came out at a reasonable time and tasted pretty good. The fries and onion rings are amazing. I liked the food so much, I got something to go.

All in all I had a great experience, and I will go back. If you have not been here and debating on going, take a chance!

Cici created an inviting atmosphere and was welcoming for My daughter and I's first ever visit. The food and portions were well worth the money and absolutely delicious.

The drinks and burgers are good. Service and live music was outstanding tonight.

Yesterday was my first time trying this restaurant and I fell completely in love. Everything was amazing ! The food was great, prices were amazing and the drinks were even better. Our bartender/waiter was Johnny and he was the best. He offered some good recommendations being that it was me and my friends first visit. The drinks were perfect ! And my burger was prepared exactly how I asked. This place truly is a hidden gem in the Newport News area. I definitely recommend this place to any and everyone. They have TVs for watching sports, it's very spacious and if beef isn't your thing, no worries because they have a chicken burger (that my friend had and she rated it 5 stars) and a crabcake burger that I can't wait to try. And when you go make sure you order the fries and the good burger sauce, you won't be disappointed!

They were all very nice and there buttermilk chicken stripes 😋are awesome good!..good food and loved that we can go down stairs from the holiday Inn to eat..they have a Bar too..we had entertainment as well ..IA guy playing guitar and he can sing..loved it..had a awesome time..
