they don't have enough tables!
The food was absolutely amazing. Staff was great. Checked multiple times for refills and if we werre doing ok. menu options were good. Food came up quick After a 8 hour drive down to blue ridge parkway this was an amazing first stop!

Great service. And genuinely nice people. We showed up on a Saturday morning on a whim with 6 people. 2 lovely gentlemen moved so we could be seated together. It was much appreciated. We enjoyed our breakfast and the relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

Perhaps because the food was great.
The Reubens with chips and a pickle spear came out hot and was quite good.
My wife had the chicken club. She noted the chicken was marinated and made the sandwich taste better than what was expected.
Though busy, the restaurant was clean as were the restrooms

Friendly and quick service. Only waited about 5 minutes for a table on a sunday morning. We got a sausage egg omelet with home fries,2 slices of toast and a Patty melt with fries Delicious and it all cost $17.

As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed by the atmosphere. We did not feel out of place being from out of town. As soon as we sat down we were welcomed by Linda our waitress. She was busy but we did not feel pressured to order. My wife got the “diner double breakfast”. It was so much food we were both surprised for under $10. I ordered sausage gravy biscuit with a side of scrapple. It was homemade, filled me up, and put a smile on my face. We were very pleased with the food the prices and service. This establishment is worth coming to and definitely worth a return visit.

A fantastic small-town diner with good food and great portions for the price point. Staff is very lovely and coffee is always hot! We regret not getting any of the baked goods - we assumed they would be as good as everything else was.

I had an awesome breakfast here. They were super busy and my food still came quickly. Waitstaff was friendly definitely hardworking

My husband and I just love little diners. We were definitely not disappointed when we found this one. When you walk in you instantly felt welcome!! The staff had their team working well together. Waitress was very friendly, the choices of food on the menu was excellent! Prices you will love!! Thank you for your hospitality ❤

Been wanting to go there, but either a line is out the door or they are closed. Got lucky and it's all I heard it was and hoped it would be.

Fantastic southern cuisine! Charming little spot, coffee wasn't anything great but food was top notch

Wait on a Sunday morning was about 15 mins. They don’t take names, everyone just lines up and if there’s an available table, you take it (they clean in between guests pretty fast).

The wait to get the food took a little while but it was worth it. I ordered country fried steak (with white gravy), 2 eggs, toast, and homefries (~10.95). It was delicious! The women who work here are so sweet. We will definitely come back!

Love the Hometown Diner - we've been there at least a dozen times for breakfast - the food (and the coffee) is always great, and the waitresses are always friendly and efficient. This remains one of our favorite diners in Front Royal, and we'll definitely be going back.
