West End Animal Care Clinic

I recently acquired a cat after it broke into an “Open House” one of my Real Estate agents was hosting. The agent thought the cat belonged to the home owners, it did not. I removed the cat from the property with the intention of bringing it to the Animal Shelter however the shelter was full. After careful consideration I decided she would be a great “working kitty” for my property however I did not have a vet. The staff at West End were able to squeeze me in and give me a crash course on animal care. They are always available when I have questions and try to accommodate my working kitty’s crazy schedule.

Great clinic. Dr. Rousso is very professional and a straight shooter. Plus, the staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My dog is not great around new people and we muzzle him just in case, but they are always very patient with him. He went in recently for a neuter and gastropexy and needed to be sedated. I liked that there is a window that looks through to the surgery area and I could see what was happening. One of the poor nurses had to pin him down so they could get the port in for the anesthesia, but she was speaking gently to him the whole time,trying to keep him calm. As much as it sucked to watch him be manhandled, i know it was for his and the staffs safety. I really appreciate the efforts the staff take to accommodate us whenever we visit.

Loved the consult with Dr Russo and the staff. The appointment was relax, they weren't rushing during the check up and they responded all my question with clear follow up thru email. I am a Banfield customer for 8 years and definitely I am thinking to switch with them.

The staff treats our fur babies like they are their own. Ceaser has left us in this world~suddenly and I thank they staff here for their time and words that have helped me. Best surgeon ever. Cleo just has some major issues taken care of and they have allowed her to feel like a puppy again. 8 years young. I have follow the Vet everywhere she goes. Because she cares about or babies and takes time with each issues.

I love this clinic for my dog. Staff is friendly , caring and flexible. They are honest and always provide options where they can, and always upfront about pricing. Highly recommend.

We took Madison, our pointer mix to meet Dr Russo for the first time yesterday. We were extremely impressed with her, Delilah and Katie. They were very patient and caring and took their time explaining everything to us. Madison was more than a bit anxious yet they calmed and handled her with ease. We love the "puppy portal" to access Madison's medical records online, review all the information given to us and check on her test results. Scheduling was a breeze and they even called us back today to make sure Madison was ok and see if we had any questions. We highly recommend Dr Russo and her staff!

i came in for a second opinion after my primary vet wanted to charge me $400+ for a test sample for a small mass on my dogs chest and the flea shot.
there was literally no wait on my 4pm apt and once i got into the room and nurse Jen had a look at my baby she almost immediately identified the mass to be benign and just an accumulation of fat due to my dogs pregnancy weight.
Dr. Russo came in to confirm Jen’s findings and gave me a PLETHORA of info to help me take better care of my Bichon Frise.
They even hooked me up with a flea pill for my baby that will last 2 months!
all in all i only paid total of $77 along with a $50 deposit.
TOTALLY WORTH IT FOR MY EASE OF MIND AND ALL THE HELP OF THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE ❤❤❤❤

We recently moved into St Cloud and my dog Charlie was not doing well. I called the office at 8:30am on a Saturday and I was able to get an appointment at 9:45 on the same day. The staff were caring, took their time to get the details and to assess my dog, their suggestions were to the point and very clearly explained. The dog needed a series of 3 daily infusions and they arranged for a Vet Tech/Nurse to come in on Sunday to continue the series correctly. In short, Dr Russo and her team care for their clients and it shows. So glad to have found this veterinary practice.

The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They were very patient with me, and it was obvious they were all meant to work with animals. I highly recommend them.

I have been bringing my awesome pup Maxx here since I adopted him from the Animal Shelter in 2019. I did not know a pandemic was coming, but this dog and the people at that clinic were the two best things to happen to me since 2020. Dr. Russo and her staff have helped Maxx through allergy issues and they have tried to help us keep his weight down. With their help, he has remained healthy and happy over the past four years. I wouldn’t want any other Vet to care for my pet. I also love how they use technology, by sending receipts straight to my computer, and how they always follow up with a call to make sure Maxx is okay. And let’s face it, it’s not cheap to take him there, but taking care of the medical needs of a family member never is. But I trust these folks with my best friend, and you should too!

Staff is so kind and caring. Dr. Russo is very caring and extremely knowledgeable. I like the fact that she also has alternative natural choices For my pet's health. Her technicians and front desk staff is ready and willing to help my pet with whatever it is he needs. It is always a pleasure to walk in there and feel confident that my little boy will be taken care of. Thank you to everyone working there.

We have 5 dogs that we take to this clinic. For anything beyond the normal yearly vaccinations you cannot find a better vet. Dr. Russo is extremely knowledgeable, and compassionate. I love that she finds alternative ways to treat animals besides just pharmaceutical medications. Our eldest dog is 15 years old and was doing poorly before going to see Dr. Russo and now his quality of life is very much improved. I cannot convey how much we truly trust this veterinarian.

Fast and friendly. They always treat my dog Goober like their own.

West End Took our sick cat in before Memorial Day when our own vet couldn’t!! Maryann was so kind on the phone and told me to come right in !!! Everyone was so kind and considerate, our Cat is much better!! With everything being closed for the holiday we are so Thankful to west End for seeing us !! Miss Lilly says Hi and thank you all !!

Such a great vet and staff. We had to put our dog down today and they were wonderful. It was our first time ever having to put a pet down. We were given as much time as we needed, and felt very safe. We love Dr. Russo even more now after this experience. She just has such a good vibe, and the staff too. This will be our forever vet.

So I had an emergency with my cat over this past weekend…. First of all let me just express how thrilled I was to not only find a vet clinic that was opened on a Monday (my cat’s vet wasn’t) but told me to bring him in. I found a couple other clinics opened but they couldn’t see my kitty, they referred me to the local Emergency Hospital. Yeah, I know but that would’ve been absolutely last resort as I was trying to get my little guy help without bankrupting the family.
The whole consultation was very nice. The front desk girls were caring and everyone in general, genuinely cared about Ash’s (my cat) well being. Mine too actually, after quickly realizing I was closed to losing my sh*%!, they assured me he was in good hands. Ash came in with a high fever which they immediately started ice packing his body etc, etc… Dr. “Rosso” was knowledgeable and spoke “human language”. It was really nice for them to see Ash last minute considering how busy they were. If you have a pet, you know vet bills aren’t cheap! Some clinics are more reasonable than others and West End Animal Clinic was reasonably priced considering the urgent consultation visit, the blood work, the pain meds injection, antibiotics for two weeks, steroids shot and whatever else. But helping my cat feel better by the time we even got back home…? Priceless! Oh, they’ll do a follow up call the next morning to check on your fur baby too ;)

We are so happy we brought our dog to West End Animal Care! Dr. Russo is extremely knowledgeable in both eastern and western medicine. She provided us with numerous options and taught us some hands on techniques to help get our pup feeling better. Even after our visit, we have had their office follow-up with us on more than one occasion. Their prices are also very fair and affordable. We are thrilled to have found a great vet to bring our dogs to!

Clean environment. The assistance are very kind. Waited only for five minute and they attended me right away. The Doctor helped me with my dog who had a allergy reaction and he got better overnight. I have gone to other Vets but they never helped me. Thank you.
