We called Craig (aka Mr Find a Needle in a Haystack) in the WPB parts office for urgent help locating parts for our 20yo Kohler Gen-set & overnight he magically found pumps, thermostats & belts from here, there & yon; all delivered 10:00am! Next up; Ms Debbie the demure dynamic service (pls cut to the chase Mr W’bag) who patiently listened to our plight & tho super busy handling regular customers, was able to get us a technician starting 2hrs later the same day! Next up: Jolting Joe M; handsome as a PB socialite (but friendly & polite:) who quickly worked thru our cooling system to find & fix the problem (w/Craig’s box of parts) & also saw & fixed the cause of a loose engine belt on his way out after a body torquing effort on our 58’ sailboat. Pelican loves Jas Marine WPB & you will too! 😘😎⛵

Couldn’t have had a better customer service experience. I was stranded on a yacht delivery in Saint Augustine. Couldn’t find the Volvo part we needed anywhere on Saturday. Deborah was SOOO nice first tried calling a bunch of people near me. With no luck she went out of her way to drive to the warehouse to make sure she had the part for me to come pick up in a rental car. Above and beyond. Couldn’t be more thankful for how helpful she was. Saved us!!

Coordination and service was excellent. Genuine sincerity and commitment from Debbie and Ryan to complete work and get me on my way to enjoying my boat was comforting and appreciated. Having your tech's number and be able to text him on the weekend is just one measure of the great service JAS provides. Thank you Debbie & Ryan. You are awesome !!

Provided excellent service on my Volvo diesel engines. Debbie was awesome in scheduling me on short notice. And...when we had a SNAFU...she got someone on it right away.

I honestly can't say enough good things about JAS Marine, and more specifically, Jason. I live in CT, and bought a boat in Florida sight unseen, knowing it needed pod rebuilds. I spoke to Jason many times before even purchasing the boat to gather information on rebuild pricing. Once I purchased the boat, I engaged JAS Marine to rebuild the pods on a Friday. The following week the pods were removed from the boat, rebuilt, and reinstalled. Jason also sent me NUMEROUS updates through the process, including photos of what needed to be replaced/repaired.

Above all, it is honestly refreshing to deal with somebody who seems to genuinely care about what he or she is doing, and provides world class service. I called dozens of marinas looking for help on various items with this boat purchase (not all related to the pods), and most people answered the phone with an attitude like they couldn't be bothered to talk. I was eventually referred to JAS Marine for the mechanical work, and Cable Marine for the cosmetic work.

Hopefully this review helps somebody else make the decision - although all you need to do is call a few marinas to know that JAS is the premier Volvo service dept in FL. If I have problems with my pods in the future, I would seriously consider shipping them back to FL just to use JAS again.

Oh and PS: This is the first time I've felt the need to write a review on Google. That says something in itself.

Called JAS Marine in Lake Park regarding a part I could not get anywhere. I was fortunate enough to speak with Craig who was knowledgeable and professional. While my issue wasn't a big ticket item, Craig treated me as if it was. Craig was able to locate, secure and coordinate shipping for my part in record time. Blown away by the level of customer service and professionalism. We had a problem with our flybridge joystick and they diagnosed it, ordered the parts and replaced them all within 36 hours just before we had to head offshore. We are always nervous using people we do not know when we travel on the boat in new areas but these guys were amazing. We could not recommend them more highly.

Extremely knowledgeable team here at JAS, they've been providing great work in the industry for decades. One of their technicians, Joe, helped diagnose and fix my Fischer Panda gen on my 42' Yellowfin. Really great company, can't recommend enough!

Without a doubt, JAS Marine sets the standard for what customer service should be. AJ was a superstar and saved our vacation! On Thursday (12/17/20) we were heading to the Florida Keys and our port engine starting making a loud noise. We turned around and headed back to the dock around noon. I called JAS and they has someone out to look at it within 2 hours. AJ got to work right away tearing down the engine / transmission to diagnose the issue. By 4pm AJ had the broken part removed and new parts ordered for next-day delivery. The parts were received by 11am the next day, AJ installed them that afternoon, and we had the engine repaired and running perfectly by that evening. AJ stayed late to make sure everything was ok so we could continue on our trip to the keys. This required the engine and transmission to be split, engine hoisted, turbo removed, etc. This was not a quick fix, but AJ worked methodically to get us repaired. My boat was received in March 2020 and commissioned in Ft. Lauderdale by several others (not JAS). I wish JAS had been part of the commissioning because they care about quality, service and delivery like no other company I have dealt with.

If I could give JAS 6 stars, I would. This is a family owned and operated small business and they will continue to get my business. Thanks again to AJ for his high-quality service!

Great parts department. Craig found me all the volvo parts I needed. Even when I gave him the wrong part numbers. Definitely recommend!

I had a recent experience with Jas Marine. My starboard Volvo Penta diesel engine had a major damage after a rope entanglement at the Carysfort Key Largo Florida. We lost three weeks and paid $11,000 to local diesel certified repair shop at Ocean Reef Club. They were totally lost and the owner pushed us to change the starboard engine. Unfortunately, since 2016, Volvo company has changed this engine; if we listened to him, so we would have end up changing both engines, a financial disaster.
Based on the insurance surveyors recommendations, I contacted Jas Marine. I was almost shocked with the level of understanding by Ms. Debbie Warren at JASMARINE, who is in charge after repairs department. She was extremely assuring and accommodating, for our time urgency. First he sent DJ who is their chief technician to Key Largo promptly. DJ had his initial inspection. Even though DJ did not have the diagnosis yet, he clearly identified the steps that was needed to get this repair done and Debbie explained these with patience. With thus Incredible rescue offer, we decided to transfer our boat to Harbor Towne Marina, ( We couldn’t find the marina in West Palm Beach with a dock that would be available to do these repairs).
As Debbie had promised DJ and their team came from Palm Beach and worked on the boat following a step-by-step approach to solve the issue and the repair was completed successfully. At every stage, Debbie was incredibly helpful, to explain the details at the same time working with the insurance company and the Marina. We were extremely pleased with the Intelligence, experience and the Technical competence of DJ, Debbie and the rest of the Jas Marine team. This company has shown competence and integrity that should be an example to all of those repair shops who are Volvo certified, but yet, not truly qualified. The best asset of this company is the people that they have in particular Debbie and DJ whom I am so much grateful. I recommend Jas Marine to those who are in need in South Florida Boating community without any reservation. Regardless where your boat may be, this team is worth the trip. They will diagnose and solve your problems with great customer care and with integrity.

Dealing with their parts department’s Craig Fournier is always a nice experience. He is polite, efficient, does the research, is responsive and most importantly gets you the parts needed if not in stock in a very timely manner.

I get DIY parts for the mechanics on my boat here often. I always find the prices on select name brand parts are way less expensive than the 'big box' marine stores. Super friendly too.
