This is a favorite spot of mine to get my haircut. David is a true Braber of the Ages. This shop is set in an antique theme with lots of decorative plates that have been bestowed upon him from his patrons over the years. When you step in to David's Shop you will feel like you have stepped back in time and are in your grandfather favorite barber shop! David is quiet and doesn't say much but is more than willing to talk with you should you choose to engage in a conversation. He opens early which is convient for me as I head over after dropping the kids off at school and in the summer I can get up before the house and be first in the chair @ 7am! Bring CASH as David doesn't take credit and not sure about checks.

Finding the right barber is challenging. I don't remember what led me to David's Barber Shop. I am thankful I found the best barber in St. Augustine.

This is a business worth supporting. He does hair and beards and a shave. I'm a regular here and I have a great conversation with David every time I step in the shop, he remembers me. When I'm feeling quiet, he lets the clippers do the talking. This is my spot, I always leave feeling sharp.

I moved to Florida last year and tried 5 different barbers and not one could get what I wanted. Then I walked into David’s place and I’ve been coming here every other Friday like clockwork! He’s awesome and very nice guy. Thanks David, see you in 38 minutes!

David is my friendly & professional barber here in St. Aug. Very attentive & has been cutting for over 3 decades. He doesnt have a phone line to schedule appts. Walk-ins only.

After several years of hit and miss haircuts , a friend suggested David's.
Here's what happened , appointment not required greeted and seated , he asked what are we doing today .. said clean it up the next thing I know im looking in the mirror at the best haircut i've had in 50 years .It's obvious David is a real Barber from the adjustment and swing of the chair to the precise cut of the hair.
His shop is Classy ,spotless and He's a true gentlemen.

Excellent barber, fair prices, clean shop. Not the most talkative barber ever (I consider that a plus), so if you're looking for a conversation don't hold your breath. But if you're looking for a great haircut, he's your guy.

Dave is in a zone when he cuts hair. He does a great job with a great atmosphere. Maybe the dude with the 1 star review should go to a beauty shop instead. Plenty to talk about there
