This place was awesome. The venue was super cool looking, and the cocktails were incredible! The staff is fun, very friendly and made great recommendations. The food…. So fresh, so tasty. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

What a delightful experience! We had a blast enjoying the fantastic and inventive drinks, alongside the excellent food. Last Friday, we brought another couple along for their first visit, and everyone was thoroughly impressed. Our waiter went above and beyond, being incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and unafraid to share their thoughts and opinions. The drinks were exceptional; I particularly enjoyed the Mount Julia, not only was it visually stunning, but the taste was undeniably four-star worthy. Can't wait to return for more memorable evenings!

20/10! Came here to celebrate my anniversary and they really made the whole night special. The atmosphere was so chill, our waiter Dana, was amazing super nice and a delight. I ordered a vegetarian meal and it was the tastiest meal I've ever had! Can't wait to come here again!

Elegant atmosphere, and I definitely felt underdressed. The waiter came over quickly and he was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and specials.

As a matter of fact, I ordered one of those specials (The Red Snapper), and it was so good. Would highly recommend.

Awesome place to go for dinner. Our server was Dana and he couldn’t have been a better server. Super friendly, quick and there to help. The food was also fantastic. We had the salmon and the gnocchi as well as some drinks that were amazing as well.

To the location, staff, cocktails, and food, my dining experience and party had a great time. Very clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. Everything was great, but the fried chicken is top tier. A must try. They also have a bar/lounge area right next door. Looking forward to checking it out on my next visit.

What a great experience! We were treated very well here by Jessica (she’s the best). The food was top notch, maybe one of the best places in Sarasota. Everything was great, but I have to say that mushroom toast was my favorite. My wife doesn’t even like mushrooms and she liked this toast. I think my wifes favorite was the ragu, which was spectacular. They gained some regular in us tonight, thanks for the great meal.

Upon entering this place is beyond what we could have imagined. The manager Jason is so knowledgeable about his wines we had a beautiful bottle of Gramercy, charcuterie and mushroom toast. It was spot on! Compliments to the chef everything was savory and delicious. Our waiter Ralph was phenomenal and quick! Highly recommend this place to anyone venturing around the area it’s beautiful sitting outside on a cool night listening to music and good conversations. Lisette and Lily are both friendly, funny and amazing very knowledgeable on the menu and the bourbon. We went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary week and our hearts have been stolen. This will forever be our home away from home restaurant!

Great restaurant. The restaurant has 2 bars, one in the restaurant and the other next door is set up as a lounge. Very comfortable atmosphere. The food is excellent. They are very accommodating to allergies.

Wow! What an impressive evening at every level. Do not hesitate and book this restaurant for your next food adventure. The moment you walk into this establishment, you know the vibe is cool and these people know their food and spirits.

The food is incredible, different than the typical Sarasota restaurant that has the same boring food offerings. I was impressed with the Iberico pork dish and unusually amazingly flavored vegetables and spices that accented the smoky tender pork. The yuca in the pork dish was similar to a potato but more flavorful and crispier. I haven't found a dish that impressed me more in recent years. The crispy salmon was a "Wow" moment for my friend, who hails from the Pacific Northwest as do I, where Washingtonians know a thing or two about salmon.

This restaurant provides your palate something different and if you're a veteran of dining out constantly, this is a welcomed change from the ordinary. The New York steak included an amazing demi glaze exploding with flavor and had the perfect consistency which can be a challenge to make right but State Street Eatinghouse + Cocktails got it right. I highly recommend the fried Brussell sprouts as they were an orgasm explosion in our mouths, the bacon amplified it with the accompaniment of the balsamic glaze. My friend's husband and mine, who usually don't like this vegetable, were pleasantly surprised and ate more than the obligatory "try one" portion.

The owners of this restaurant own Beso, which I recently tried, and awarded it my "Best Restaurant in Sarasota" award. This restaurant belongs in the "Restaurant Hall of Fame" of Sarasota or even US restaurants. I love it! My waiter, Dana, was super attentive and impressive. His vast knowledge of the drink and food menu was spot-on and his candor and expertise added to the whole evening's experience. What an amazing restaurant! I can't wait to book my next reservation and I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Cheers!

Wow. The food was so good. We got the prosciutto flat bread and i could have eaten more. It was so delicious. My husband ordered the potstickers appetizer with pork, and he ate every single bite. I finished the sweet potato gnocchi entre...however there were legit 10 gnochhi on my dish; the rest was vegetables. The flavor was amazing, but I didn't get many gnocfhi. My husband ordered the fish pasta dish. It was delicious. The cocktails were yummy. Price expensive but in high-end district.

Definitely the best restaurant spot around! Will be coming back. The daily specials are unique and delicious, though I recommend asking for the aolis on the side. You have to make a reservation even though they're typically empty. The tables were clearly painted improperly and have a gross residue on them. This really bothered two of the six of us (not me). Because it was peeling around food, someone suggested the health department should be called! Just food for thought. I had a great experience, ha-ha.

We went for brunch on a Saturday. The burger was perfectly balanced with pickled cucumber slices. My drink from the cocktail menu was possibly one of the best I've ever had, and the bartender was really great. She was just finishing up the brunch shift but was still grinning and completely sweet. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the service is because our server, at our table, seemed very preoccupied. Overall, a great brunch!

I haven't eaten at their restaurant next door yet. I have been to their bar side multiple times and it's always been so much fun. It's the hang out place where we migrate to after the company party 😉. We just all show up here and chill. They make awesome espresso martinis!

Cocktails, bread service, salads, and entrees were terrific. The specials were unique and delicious. The server was knowledgeable and attentive. Nice outdoor dining area.
