Cask and Ale

Oh my gosh, the atmosphere is so much fun. I’m 29 and celebrated my best friend’s 33rd and it was soooooo fun. There was a live band, and then a DJ. Different varieties of music, too. Not to mention, the cocktails were excellent!

Really great happy hr just tiny food though, I guess they want you to pretend you're in France. Just wish they stopped raising the prices they just went up a dollar and I was only there a couple weeks 🤣. But beggars can't be choosers 🤞🏽 hopefully it'll stay $7 for the next couple years, let's value 'Merica's dollar people 🙌🏽

I say... my posts seem to always seem to be positive BUT I swear... this place was wonderful. Happy hour drinks and food are well worth the visit. As a matter of fact the whole Main street area is a must experience.

Great drinks and a space for your dog outside (though limited). Service is impeccable, with super friendly staff. Not many vegan food options but I like to have a drink here every now and again when in downtown Sarasota, day or night. Cask Old Fashioned is my favourite, but all the drinks are so good I'd give each one a try at least once... so stylish too!

We stopped in for what was supposed to be a quick drink before heading out to celebrate St Patrick’s Day and ended up staying a couple of hours. Managed to get seats at the bar and were served by a very talented and entertaining bartender. Love the atmosphere. We definitely will be back, next time to try brunch with bottomless mimosas!

Thoroughly enjoyed our nachos, beers and the spicy burger! If you're hungry and looking to sit on a patio and enjoy a good cocktail or craft beer, this is the place for you!

We LOVE Cask & Ale! It is truly a gem, and away from a lot more of the busy-ness that is downtown Sarasota. Karen is a great bartender - in fact, we haven't met one we DIDN'T like lol! Food is wonderful. Employees are personable and attentive. We particularly enjoy the live music for Sunday Brunch...and bottomless mimosas!

I strolled into Cask and Ale looking for something yummy for lunch. I sat at the bar and went with the bartenders recommendation of fish tacos. It was a great choice. Food arrived quickly, the team was very attentive, and the drinks were outstanding.

Went here for brunch on Saturday and it exceeded my expectations. I had the Chef’s Special, which was seafood Benedict, potatoes and fruit. The Espresso Martini didn’t disappoint either. Thank you Owen and Sarah for the amazing hospitality!

Always a great place for happy hour. The staff are all wonderful and accommodating. Drinks are always solid and the bar food is quite good. Great place to watch the game, eat and drink. They also have a wonderful outdoor space as well.

The decor alone brought me inside. The food was amazing. The French toast delicious. I enjoyed my burger and onion rings. Would definitely come back and bring all my friends.

Cocktails are great. Food is great. Service is scarce because it's BUSY at dinner or on weekends. Music is pumping and the place is packed. Loved the vibe however and great spot for pets when not busy.

Love the steak tacos!! The menu grew quite a bit since my last visit but still always get those damn tacos. Happy hour specials are great and so is the atmosphere. I drive 20 minutes from the hotel I stay at and would drive double that when in town. My favorite spot…

We arrived into town well after our typical dinner time and luckily for us, we chose the Cask & Ale as our dinner and drink destination. Unquestionably, the "chicken tenders" ranked up there as the best chicken tenders ever! Literally, hand-crafted, not too greasy, large chucks of quality tender chicken. I could also tell The 1548 Salad was put together with care as the kale, spring mix, onions, tomatoes, and the rest of the ingredients were well proportioned. The atmosphere was perfect after a day of rain with the front doors wide open overlooking the tree lit street. Kudos to Cask & Ale! Well done! Thanks for making our later than usual dinner so enjoyable.

We came in for a few drinks and enjoy the ambience. It was very relaxing and the drinks were well made. Very enjoyable experience here.

Stephen makes the best drinks!! He made us a classic ** cocktail that we truly believe it's his own drink. Nobody can tell us any differently lol. All the vibes here on a 4th of july, let freedom ring 🙌

I’ve been here 3 times. Twice pregnant with friends that are drinking and once now not pregnant. It’s been great everytime. Ambiance is cool, came in contact with 3 people that work there today and they all were super nice even though we each only got 1 delicious cocktail. Will def be back

The bartenders are wonderful and the manager, Owen is fantastic.
