Recommend for girl's night. The oyster happy hour deal looks like the one to beat!

We enjoyed a tasty dinner with friends! We tried the smoked fish dip—delicious! We also had the tuna dinner and the salmon—perfectly prepared and delicious! The service was excellent—very attentive to food allergies.

With permanent bubbles on the happy hour menu I have to admit, I go to 1592 a little too much! The large outdoor patio is great to hang out in with my puppy and the food is pretty good too, with a few vegan options and some dishes that are easy to modify is you ask nicely. Dolmades (I sometimes get them on top of their hummus and add pita) and falafel are my faves and they are also on the happy hurricane menu, flat bread/pizza is good too. The staff are (usually) a highlight as well and overall it's a great restaurant.

I've re-rewritten this review after a thoughtful response from the owners over dog rules as I understand they're under pressure from the city and some staff may not fully understand all the tasks service dogs perform. As an FYI in case it comes up again, I checked with my trainers and tasks should be respected and are understood by the city, Deep Pressure Therapy is my dog's trained task.

Been wanting to come here for a long time since they serve poutine! Unfortunately the large amount of cheese curds and spicy beef covered up the fries which should be the main ingredient. The other dishes were rated very good by the vegetarians. Outdoor seating reminded me of Paris.

The food was good, we had a party of 13. Some dishes ordered ..... Appetizers hummus, zucchini fritters, octopus.... some dinners were braised short ribs, mixed grill, mushroom risotto, salmon, yellow fin tuna. Everyone enjoyed their food, one said theirs needed salt.
It's quite loud in there so it was hard to have a conversation.

We were seated immediately upon arrival . The seats are a bit hard. We like to sit together in booths or at a table side by side. kind of felt like we were sitting at a Cracker Barrel. Got there in time for Happy Hour and ordered a dozen oysters ($15) glass of house wine ($5) The oysters were really really tiny and thin . The waiter was nice to send us a replacement because one was the size of a dime.
Ordered the falafel open face pita which was delicious and an order of dirty fries .
My bf got the sliders and the mediterranean vegetables which were very flavorful. I think the restaurant has a great vibe for friends to meet up. But didnt feel a romantic vibe . Pretty noisy

Found this great place within walking distance of the Downtown Selby gardens. Sat outside for a late lunch. Many options on the menu. I had the grilled chicken which was done perfectly. Also a dinner salad was very good.

We were visiting friends and had dinner before our flight back to Philadelphia. Food was amazing, great atmosphere, friendly staff. We were settled right away. Love IPA from Sarasota.

The menu was varied and extensive. Both dishes we ordered were outstanding, as were the appetizers. The chef is imaginative (in a good way). The service was outstanding as well. All food is made fresh on premises. Will be a return customer for sure

My wife, myself and our toddler had a full lunch for less than $50 or so.

Excellent food.... kids menu could use a bit more options, but my daughter did destroy the pepperoni pizza on the regular menu. I would personally recommend the fried calamari over greens. It is simply delicious! Overall, it was an absolutely excellent experience.

A fantastic place for a beer and some great food. The bartenders are exceptionally friendly and the feel of the place is like no other. It has that genuine Pub feel and I'm digging it. I think you will too. I like my Pepperoni Pizza Well Done, BTW. Enjoy!

Restaurant has great ambience. One of best Mediterranean meals I have had. I ordered spicy feta dip and falafels- they were delicious. My hubby had lamb chops - he said they were one of the best he has had! Had baklava gelato which was not too sweet & interesting. Espresso was good too.
Service was excellent & presentation was perfect!
I didn’t try cocktails as it was lunch time!
I would highly recommend this place if you are in Sarasota.

Simply Delicious. I was there today with my Grandma ad we absolutely loved it. We shared the Baba Ghanoush, Moussaka, and finished of the meal with the Orange Cake. We were quickly seated and well attended to.

Amazing spot, Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. I believe the vegetable medley dish could be made with a LOT LESS OIL. Otherwise, fantastic and great bar options .

Loved this spot! Amazing food. I had an open faced grilled chicken pita and a glass of their riesling white wine. Everything was perfect!

We liked this spot. Arrived near the end of the evening and they quickly set up a table for us out front. Andy our waiter was prompt cordial and engaging. Like drinks and eats from a menu that has a good mix to chose from. Greek Italian mix.

Excellent food and excellent service. We sat outside since it was a cool night, but they were still very attentive.

We all shared food, we shared a very fresh pizza with tasty stretchy cheese and crust that was soft and crisp at the same time. Then we had a poutine to share where they poured this wonderful gravy over top of the fresh cooked fries and cheese curds.

We ordered the mixed grill and the burgers to share, and the mixed grill dish came with such flavorful meats - there was a grilled shrimp skewer, a banger sausage with casing that snapped as you cut into it, two smaller sausages, a decent-sized piece of grilled chicken and a fresh salad of tomato, cucumber, red onion, pepper, and romaine. It was served with a good portion of their really tasty fries.

The burger, while being a simple dish in name, had such great flavor, one of the best burgers we’ve had in a while.

The ambience was nice - the indoor area looked cozy and well decorated, but we sat outdoors where there were lights from Main Street lit up and a nice outdoor heater we got to sit next to.

I’m taking this time to review because I woke up thinking about this restaurant and that only happens with the really good experiences.

I look forward to eating here again!
