Amazing location in Sarasota, clean, spacious room and quiet. Excellent à-la-carte breakfast. The lady at the reception, Jim the driver and the two ladies at the cafeteria were amazing. The pool is currently not working, but that didn't bother us as we went to Lido Beach enjoying the free shuttle service. They give you towels, beach umbrella and beach chairs if needed. There are also free bikes.

Rooms are very spacious, clean and decor makes the room serene. Located a few blocks from the nightlife. Transportation is provided. Great options for breakfast and our server Emily was amazing! This hotel offers dinner as well. Miguel provided great options for sightseeing and made sure our expectations were met. Most important is that they are pet friendly. Will definitely be back. Keep up the great job!!!

I love this hotel. It’s got a great vibe. All of the staff are genuinely friendly and you can tell they enjoy being there as well. I appreciate all the nice touches in the room (like the espresso machine and the best shower I’ve experienced anywhere) and in the lobby… complementary purified water, sparkling water and herbal tea selections. All of the shuttle drivers are friendly and helpful and the shuttle service is such a benefit. Great location as you can walk downtown in the bay quite easily. I highly recommend.

I loved this place. Never been to a hotel with such a friendly staff, and I mean everyone. However special shout out to Emily serving us breakfast every morning and greating us with coffee and a big smile. The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed.

Staff is friendly, rooms are beautiful. I love that there is no carpet in the rooms. The bathroom is spacious and updated. It's walking distance to a few hidden gems as well.

You can’t find a better location in Sarasota. You can walk to the water and the place is clean, inviting and you even get two empty bottles in the room to fill with either still or sparkling water from a purifier in the lobby. For free! Hard wood floors and comfy bed too. Lobby has been newly renovated.

I don't give 5's that often, but this hotel was perfect for everything I needed. Great location, Quiet. There are plenty of modern amenities in the room, like plenty of USB ports and HD TV with casting ability. Suggest upgrade for the free breakfast. You'll get a coupon for $30 for two people towards the restaurant.

Stayed here for two nights, picking this place as it was the least expensive of the "higher end" hotels I was looking at. Very glad we stayed...

Our las trip to Sarasota included a somewhat less-than-pleasant stay at an economy motel. I promised myself I would find something better - and luckily I did. Hotel Indigo is still a bit pricey, but as the saying goes - you get what you pay for, and in the case of this locale - you get a lot.

The building looks very nice from the outside, there's plenty of free parking (a plus in my book) to be had, and you are greeted by a beautiful lobby, well furnished and staff that are friendly and accommodating from the moment we walked in.

I will admit, we had some hiccups - I reserved a King Bed Room, non-smoking, and all they had to offer was a room with two Queen's - no big deal. I had the devil-of-a-time trying to get their small cappuccino machine in the room to work. They had someone come to the room and show me how to function it. Our keys stopped working after just a few hours - no problem, the front desk fixed it right away. I mention these as examples of the exemplary customer service we received - a breath of fresh air that I truly enjoyed.

The rooms are very chicly furnished - you can get yourself complimentary water from a machine that offers not only cold water but hot, ambient, and sparkling - this was a treat. Checking was fast and easy, and checking out is as simple as dropping off your room cards at the front desk - no fuss. You really can't ask for more.

We will be back to Sarasota in a month's time - this will be the place we stay without any hesitation, but certainly with a "reservation".

Great downtown location, pet friendly. Great food at the on site Bistro. We were here during Hurricane Idalia and the staff that could work, did a great job. There were only a couple of things that wouldn't be perfect in normal conditions but were made so nice by everybody who went the extra mile to meet our needs. The building was very sound during the tropical storm force winds and rains. The in room air conditioner was an absolute relief from the humidity in between the storm bands.

The cleaning staff were always happy and friendly, which says a lot. I hope they’re paid well! Room was nice and clean, and I loved the giant shower. I appreciated the free waters and beach towels and shuttle. The bistro breakfast, however, was no better than a Days Inn continental breakfast but for >$10- I’d suggest going to Toasted Mango the block over. Not sure if that’s a hotel thing though so the 5 stars remain! Happy stay.

Only minor suggestions would be that the dinner time service was extremely slow , only 1 waitress. It's not her fault. Everything else was great.

This hotel is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL!! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I like the fact that they provide beach towels and umbrella for you to use at the beach. Also, their rooms were very comfortable and I like their hot and cold tubs that were absolutely amazing. The hotel manager and all the staff made my stays really wonderful. I’ve stayed at this hotel twice already for weekend getaways and have enjoyed on both occasions. It is the kind of hotel that makes your vacation perfect!!! Love this. And will come back again!!!

Hotel is in an amazing location, rooms were clean, and after a slight hiccup of a situation everything was taken care of. I would suggest to stay at this hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nts. Scott was great at check-in, very friendly, and professional. Bobby took excellent care of us in the restaurant. Maria was a sweet and caring server. Kia was very helpful when I had questions at check out, and very professional. I really liked our room, it was very clean. Thank you for a nice stay.

Stayed here for a week for work travel. The front staff members were cordial and professional and it was refreshing to see workers that actually wanted to work. Breakfast was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our waitress Kia who kept her composure even with a full dinning room. Rooms are adequate and beds were comfortable. My pregnant wife really appreciated the complimentary sweets they left out at night and free water. Will stay here again for future business travel.

Excellent customer service, beautiful rooms and super comfy beds! Also, the bathrooms and showers are huge and so nice! I often have business meetings in Sarasota and always stay here. The team goes out of their way to make my stay special. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

What a great location and hotel! The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. It felt more like a boutique hotel with the nice murals on the walls. The rooms had laminate flooring and were nicely decorated. They had much nicer furniture and finishings than a typical hotel room. The only con was that the walls are thin and the AC unit makes a lot of noise. However, neither really bothered us. The $20 resort fee included beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella which was an awesome deal! Make sure you check the chairs and umbrella before taking them to the beach to make sure they’re in good working condition. There is also a shuttle service included but we didn’t use it.
There are two dipping pools. These are not full size! One is hot and one is cold. They were great for enjoying after a day at the beach. However, when we were there, there was an issue with the cold pool. It’s literally sloping one direction in the ground and water pours out the lower side if you’re in the water. Management is aware of the issue and said that the sand is eroding underneath.

Such a cute little hotel.. flight was delayed twice and they were still happy to accommodate our pick up.. I believe Tom was the driver then and was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us suggestions on things to do and places to go.. We had a guy at the front desk that was awesome (don't do well with names but he had a shiny head as my granddaughter said lol.) Room was beautiful and clean. shower is huge and beautiful!! Ac worked great!! They have a van that will drive you any and everywhere it seems and made it so much easier when not having a car!! We had Barry a couple times driving and he was great!! Even called to make sure we weren't ready to come back before the time we gave (which we actually did want too.) A younger driver took us to the grocery store and was so very friendly and helpful, even waited for us!! I can't say enough good things about Hotel Indigo.. I try to be as honest as I can when reviewing places and understand not everyone has the same expectations but they really exceeded ours!! Pool looked nice, we didn't go in or use it though.. it did look small and didn't seem like you would get much sun if that's what you're after like we were.. the only negative thing I will say is the night we arrived, we saw bottles of water on a counter and after we went up to the room and got settled we went down to retrieve a few since we didn't' have anything to drink with us and they were gone.. we asked the tall, older gentleman at the front desk for some and he said once they're gone, they're gone.. as pointed us to a filtered water station but the driver informed him it wasn't working.. he told me I could purchase some bottled waters though.. the next morning there was a sign hung up saying it was broke and there was another one located by the pool.. we weren't informed of the other station.. but that's a very minimal negative!! I just don't have anything else negative to say about this place!! Highly recommend!!
