Overture Restaurant & Gallery Lounge

Really cool spot in the Art Overture Hotel. They do a changing menu/cuisine. This evening, they were serving Cuban food. We had tostones with ropa vieja for appetizers. It was delicious. I had the hamburguesa for dinner. My wife had the bistec. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. Highly recommended. Service could have been a little more attentive and frequent, but overall, a really enjoyable and memorable date with my wife.

We ordered the Continental de Overture breakfast entree and it was refreshing! Such a blissful way to start our day! The fruit medley was delicious — every single piece was perfectly picked and tasted perfectly. Will be back fore more!

Stopped by the bar at overture and sat on one of the couches by the piano. Great music and atmosphere. Love all the artwork and artist one site very true to sarasota. The cocktails were amazing in both presentation and taste. My drink had a giant ice cube with a flower frozen in it. They had a server running around doing cocktail and took care of us. He was very attentive and had a great personality. I pretty sure his name is joe but I do remember his name tag saying Gene Simmons which we talked about both of our love for kids. Will recommend this to everyone.

Just arrived in Sarasota and first stop was here at The Overture. Stephanie was tending bar and quite nice and professional. Wife and I enjoyed 2 glasses of the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and a very good entertainer. Nice afternoon.

Great continental breakfast discovery. Even though I am a Sarasota resident, and would not have thought of hotel dining, this unique Cuban style cuisine is special, and I will definitely go back!

We ordered Pan-seared chicken breast with pearl pasta. It was tender & moist very delicious..

Wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with four family members. Great staff and food. Contemporary, tasteful setting to enjoy your tasty meal in.

Great place, happy they opened

This is for the bar, and food ordered there several times.
First off, the bartender, Stephanie, is great! Attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient. She's handled my needs on several occasions during a large gathering, as well as during a small art show. Highly recommend.
The happy hour has been changed from a reasonable time, 5:00 to 7:00, to 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. I'm not really a day drinker. They really should change this back to a reasonable happy hour time.
Food has always been good, and good selection of bar drinks.- cocktails and wines

The dinner was very good (Ruben eggrolls, mahi-mahi), pretty venue, craft cocktails could use some depth but this is better than your average hotel bar. Very nice staff.

Lovely spot for a romantic lunch!

The entrees they serve are delicious, albeit a bit overpriced. However, stay clear of any of the buffet options they have; they are severely over priced for what you get. This place was nothing special, typical Sarasota restaurant that overcharges.

The food was so good it redefined the definition of delicious. My girlfriend and myself couldn’t believe the magic the chefs performed. The servers were personable and friendly as well. However, the place smelled so heavily of a very pungent perfume clearly distributed through the air ducts my date and I could taste it. It was so nauseating we almost had to leave but the food was too good. I would recommend to a friend just be ready for the terrible smell.

The food was quite good. The service was so slow that several patrons got up to find their server. Worst, the water they served is from the tap...horrible Florida water. We ordered a bottle of water
