The culinary experience was outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant’s captivating aesthetic, complemented by impeccable service. The diverse array of menu options showcases its identity as a remarkable Asian fusion eatery.

Everything was SO GOOD!!! highly recommend. And it was poppin on a Thursday night. Great service, the bar was taking a little longer than normal and our waiter brought us complimentary champagne while we waited.

I really enjoyed the unique atmosphere in the restaurant, it's a perfect addition to downtown. The food is excellent, very flavourful with a very exquisite menu. Perfect for a date night or to celebrate an occasion.

Had a lovely dinner outside at Kojo on Friday. Kim was our server, so attentive, charismatic, and efficient without being overbearing. Food was next level, as it always is, and we were treated like Royalty by the entire staff💕 Kojo is a top pick in Sarasota for a great night out.

KoJo Bar in Sarasota left quite an impression that I'd like to share! This cozy and stylish spot amazed me with its unique selection of cocktails and a wonderful atmosphere.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by pleasant music and elegant interior design, creating a sense of comfort and relaxation. The ambiance makes this place perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a romantic dinner.

But the real star at KoJo Bar is definitely their cocktails. I was lucky enough to try a few, and each one was a true work of art. The bartenders here clearly know their craft and pay attention to even the tiniest details. My favorite cocktail was the "Lilikoi Lei" - it combined exotic fruits, fresh herbs, and perfectly balanced spirits. Every sip was a real delight!

And, of course, the staff at KoJo Bar deserves praise. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with drink and food choices. Their knowledge of the menu and exceptional service made for a pleasant experience and made our visit special.

All in all, I was thrilled with KoJo Bar in Sarasota. It's a place where you can enjoy excellent cocktails, a cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service. I'll definitely be back here again and will recommend it to all my friends.

As of today my most favorite restaurant in Sarasota. Excellent service, great atmosphere. Very interesting food inspired by different Asian cuisines but also some sort of fusion. Tuna pizza with freshly shredded truffles is my absolutely favorite! The portion is not very big so I ate three of them during my last evening there! 😂 Yummy!

I will start off with JUST WOW! Amazing atmosphere and some of the most professional and polite staff I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Amazing fully stocked bar than can do just about anything you could ever want along with their own amazing cocktail selection. Seating experience was great as we received our hot jasmine scented steam towels to clean our hands with. Trene and Sadie were just awesome and on top of their game. All the food was spectacular from our Sushi to Bao buns to main courses. I honestly do not think an empty plate sat on our table for longer than a minute before someone walked by to grab them. Do yourself a favor and try this place, I don't think you'll regret it. *Few personal notes* I do like spice so my opinion on some of the food may be biased as the Rock Shrimp Bao buns did have some heat as did my Wagyu Noodles, however my wifes Miso Glazed COD was just perfect and light and melted in your mouth. Wagyu NY Strip was amazing and the Sauce it came with I want to bottle and resell! I hope you enjoy this as much as we did and it is on our permanent go to list for Sarasota.

Wow!! This place is tied as the #1 spot in Sarasota hands down. There is no arguing! My waitress was awesome. She introduced herself, the restaurant,and said "one thing about us is when you're foods ready it's coming to the table it won't be sitting around back there getting cold" and she was right. Food came out immediately and it was great. The bao was phenomenal, spicy tuna roll bomb, gyoza bomb, everything was fabulous. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting here. They even have small holders to lift the tips of your chop sticks off the table. Wow what a touch. The napkins were folded looking like a shirt. Sometimes it's the small things that also really make the experience that much better.

We heard about this new restaurant via word of mouth from our friends. We did not have reservations but we’re able to sit at a high top in the bar. All I can say is WOW! The atmosphere, employees and the food were incredible. The only complaint I would say is that the hostess could have been a little more helpful. When we told her we didn’t have reservations, she just pointed to the bar and we had to find an open table. I feel like she could of AT LEAST walked us to the table or showed us where it was. Our server was Madison and she was stellar! She gave great recommendations on what is popular and what she personally liked. We ended up ordering tapas style and shared a few dishes. The drinks were some of the best we have had downtown and the seafood was fresh and tasted wonderful. We had 2 different versions of the Bao and they were some of the best I have ever had. Madison also recommended the mushroom tacos. It’s ridiculous how good they tasted! Dessert was equally impressive and a perfect way to finish the night. I would HIGHLY recommend trying this place out, weather it be for a date night or just a casual dinner. Can not wait to go back soon!

I loved everything about Kojo. I was in town for continuing education units and found this place online.

I ordered the lychee martini, Chashu braised pork belly bao buns, torched salmon nori tacos, miso black cod, and the chocolate bar for dessert. Everything tasted great. My favorite dish that I had was the salmon nori tacos - something about how all the flavors were mixed in. I could probably come back and order six of these. The pork belly buns were tasty and the black cod was perfectly cooked.

The whole ambience, decor, food, presentation, drinks, and customer service was up to par. I will definitely come back to eat here again when I’m back in Sarasota.

Nice upscale Asian fusion spot. We tasted a few different things from the menu and had a couple specialty cocktails. Everything was quite good, and I'd go back in a heart beat. It was pretty busy and I think normally reservations would be a necessity, but we got a high top without much wait on a Sunday.

Even with the place nearly full, it wasn't too loud and the staff was very attentive and efficient. No complaints and I'd recommend it for anyone looking for something a bit different than most of the nicer spots in downtown SRQ.

Wow wow wow, first let me apologize to Kojo, it took me a month to write this review, but better late than never.

This has to be the best Asian Fusion experience I have ever had. In fact this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.

The service was STELLAR, I don't remember his name...maybe Big Ben but I may have that totally wrong, and I'm sorry if I do, but you deserve to have your salary doubled. You took amazing care of me and my son and provided us with the best recommendations. With that said, I doubt there is one bad dish in the menu. If you are anywhere near Sarasota do not hesitate, make a reservation and head to KOJO.

The atmosphere was also amazing, the decor, the various seating areas, the artwork, all added to an absolutely delightful experience.

The food was out of this world and the kimchi fried rice that we had was a dish that after a month I start drooling when I think about it or see my photo of it. The pork buns were amazing and the sushi was delicious. Everything was AMAZING! I will 100% be back and if I could award 6 stars to KOJO I would do it in a heartbeat!

This new upscale sushi restaurant on Palm Avenue has a beautiful interior decor. The menu had plenty to choose from including Sunday brunch. Our waiter Luis was very nice and the service was excellent. My husband enjoyed his Spicy Tuna roll and Bloody Mary and I had a delicious Tuna Poke Bowl, which had fresh grapefruit and edamame mixed in. Sidewalk dining is a nice option also. The prices are reasonable and I highly recommend it.

Food and service is always on point. Love the attention to detail and atmosphere.
