Emory at Hillandale - Family Medicine

Dr. Omeruah is an excellent healthcare provider. She utilizes wholistic as well as traditional approaches to treating her patients. She has a good attitude and is very patient. I have had issues with the front office staff, but other than that, my experiences have been good.

I've been receiving my care at this office since 2011. I have never been disappointed. I see P.A. Pillot. She is always, always professional and attentive. She answers all my questions, and I never feel rushed.

I have been a patient of this practice for many years. I started with Kendrick Family Practice and continued when Dr. Carmen Echols took over the practice. I have found her to not only be an effective and efficient physician but she also listens to any of my concerns about office management.

Lithonia Primary is a well organize facility where me and my family go for our yearly physical and check ups. They very detail and concerned about what ever issue you are having. I would HIGHLY recommend Lithonia Primary to family, friends and neighbors.

I have really had it with this office. Have been going here for years but may have to leave. I called and explainEd I would be late for and appointment- 10-15 minutes. Receptionist explained that anything after 10 minutes she would have to ask the Dr. Granted I was running late so it was my fault. However tell me on the phone I won’t be seen after 10 minutes. I rushed to get there I was 12 minutes late. Dr Pilot was asked when I got there if I could still be seen- she tells receptionist to reschedule
There was one person in the lobby. Ridiculous. Now I had to reschedule an appointment that took me months to get! Over this office.

This hospital is the worst and slowest. I came in about chest pains and they have you just waiting and the attitude and rudeness of the employees is what make the experience even worst

I am highly upset with this office. I researched information on a primary physician I had wanted. The doctor I finally choose was on maternity leave. There was a doctor by the name of Dr.Piolt taking her patients. So I went to her attending to see Dr. Candace White eventually. After seeing Dr. Pilot I had to go back to Dekalb HIllandale Hospital due to her not fixing the problem. Dr. Pilot wanted to schedule an appointment two weeks later for something she didn't even diagnosed correctly. So, by me not making my appointment they choose to charge me 90 dollars for not coming. If the doctor did not do a good job should I pay? If I didn't like the service should I pay? I talk with nurse manager Kiesha. She was not helpful what so ever.

I have tried to be patient with this facility but they are very unreliable and inefficient. I went in for a check up earlier this year, and they failed to send in my lab results. After calling the office to follow up, the doctor took 2 days to return my call while stating that she forgot to send in my lab.
Later this year, my pharmacy sent over a request for them to respond to. This was one week ago. After calling them a week ago, again today- twice and speaking with the office manager and leaving a message for E. Pilot with the answering service, I was reassured that I would receive a call today. It's 11:00pm and no call. Very disappointed with this facility. I will not be returning and would not recommend them to anyone. I will be searching for another PCP.

The website states that they accept my insurance plan however after calling I was told that they don't. I will not recommend.
