McCray’s Tavern Lawrenceville

Came here to have brunch rooftop!! We were seated right away and the food was delicious! Justin was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the weather and people watching. Highly recommend McCrays. Next time we will try the Mimosas and Bloody Mary bar!

Randomly picked this place and we are so pleased with the service and thefood was amazing. We had no idea that it was Jenna first day! She did amazing so whoever trained her! She got it! I also had the pleasure of meeting the manager who came by and checked on our family. What a pleasant place and great environment. 10’s all across the board!!!! I will definitely be back.

My friends and l went to McCray's in Lawrenceville for first time today! We had lunch to celebrate my birthday! The food was awesome!!! Our waitress, Heather was spectacular! She was very attentive and even helped us choose food items. I had a Chicken Salad Panini Sandwich with side of Pasta Salad. I will definitely return!!!

First time for me and I will be back. Service was friendly, wish I could remember my servers name, but his british accent will tell you who he is. I had the fried grouper sandwich with added fried Jelepenio. My partner had grouper tacos. No complaints. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Next time I will add drinks. Definitely two thumbs up!!!

My husband and I decided to try this place on last night. The ambience on the patio was nice. They ran out of salmon so the manager recommended that I try the Cajun seafood pasta. It was tasty and flavorful! My husband had the balsamic half chicken and the sauce on it was savory. The drinks were on point as well. We found our new spot on the town of Lawrenceville.

Beautiful weather for rooftop brunch at McCrays, we had the chicken and waffles and the breakfast bowl with eggs, breakfast potatoes, and hollandaise sauce, Delicious!

McCrays tavern is a staple of Lawrenceville. The roof top is very romantic. Show up at 7pm and eat while the sun sets. Good food great views.

The only problem eating outside is you tend to get forgotten.. you know this going in choosing to eat on the patio, however service was timely inspite of extra delays and the servers were changed. The Brussel sprouts were anazing.. food portions good...

First time coming here and we loved the drinks! The food was also very good and the prices weren’t bad! Definitely interested in going on a weekend for brunch!!

I had doubts about the food in this restaurant/bar... Tavern typical bar food nachos, hot dogs, cheese stick and wings with lots of people drinking beers. As I arrived the location which is set surrounded by apartment buildings and other businesses seems serene which gives off that small town feel. I happen to be invited to one of their brunch events. So much food and choices, it was hard. But I reach for pancake first, then salmon it was seasoned well. The bake salmon did not taste salty with the freshly made salad.The chicken fingers were tender and juicy dip in sauce., pecan cheese cake to delicious, shrimp and grits look good and seems to be the favorite amongst the crowd. I was overwhelmed, my tastebud was on overload. Not to mention the service servers was prompt. Overall lesson learn "don't judge a book by its cover", LOL, Sorry, I would most definitely returned to favorite hangout spot a real classic sport bar that knows when to bring the right mix of food so everyone can enjoy. The roof top was full , lol everywhere was full basically. Glad I made it.

Some of the best service I've had in a very long time! Tangie made us feel so at home and made sure everything was perfect. The food was on point like always. And the drinks she made were perfection!

Been coming here off and on for about 7 years, food always hot and tasty. Service always decent, but today we had a server who was exceptional named Crystal. My husband always changes up menu item to the hilt lol but she got everything spot on. Try wings, sweet potato fries and chicken burger, delicious!

Had a great first time experience. Jay took phenomenal care of us and special shout out to Jeremiah for grabbing us silverware! Food was amazing and flavorful.

Excellent food and nice views of the city when eating up on the rooftop. Always a great place to dine when the weathers nice and sunny. The food is always well prepared and nicely flavored and the servers are very attentive to your needs.

Our food came out quickly and was hot, fresh and delicious. One of my hidden pub gems that I enjoy for its scenic views, great food and excellent service. If you're in the area its definitely a spot worth visiting for some good food and a different perspective of downtown Lawrenceville.

McCray's is a must. From the moment we stopped inside all of the staff was super friendly. The interior is beautiful with plenty of space. Even though it was 55 degrees we wanted to eat on the roof to enjoy the sunset. We were not disappointed. The views as you can see we beautiful. Our server was so nice and attentive. The 4 of us each had something different and there was not a complaint about any of it. I had the cajun shrimp and grits and it was incredible. Also I got to taste their Gouda mac n cheese, best ever. Great local choice of beers. I definitely suggest eating here and enjoying the downtown Lawrenceville square.

The food was so good! We had the pretzel and onion rings as an app. Pretzel was hot and soft. Onions rings ere huge! But delicious. The smash burger was messy but it was worth it. 10/10 would go back.

Chris is a great manager. The wait staff are always pleasant. The cooks do a fabulous job on the entries. The bartender are on point with drinks. Great experience!
