I have been craving a good burger lately and this place is now my favorite #1 spot! The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing while the service was amazing! Food was delicious and unique! The burgers were very rich with flavor and had some delicious and unique toppings. I’m already thinking of coming back! They also have a large beer/cocktail selection and special dishes and daily soups of the day. It was the perfect lunch!

Very nice restaurant. Great service and atmosphere both inside and outside. We enjoyed a Sunday brunch under a warm sun overlooking the square. Prices were reasonable and the Mimosas were great. On street parking snd a lot with a block.

Food was amazing!
Ruben was full of flavors and textures, Smashburger was excellent as expected.
Drinks were a unique journey of flavors (nightman!!) haha
_ Anthony M is the reason I'm taking the time to write this, as he made the time there most excellent - Thanks Anthony!

Food and drinks were great! The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive! Since the side are a la cart, they are big enough to share with two people, but more than that, they would need to order two sides.

Davin (hope I spelled that right) was one of the best waiters I've had the pleasure of doing business with. The brunch, French toast, chicken pimento cheese biscuits with gravy and the creme brulee were all fantastic. Their Sunday brunch is a little pricy to a cheapskate like me, but worth it on occasion. I would highly recommend it.

A little late with this review but we went 2 weeks ago and everything was great. Had booked our reservation the day prior (last min) for 14 but ended up having 15 people. We were able to fit everyone around the table without it feeling crowded. The seating area was private and we were able to talk freely without distracting others. Everyone enjoyed their meal without any complaints which is rare. Very friendly s staff members. We will definitely visit again.

The Butternut Squash and grits blew my mind! Random stop in this little town yielded an amazing find. Local Republic is that great! Service, food, and the Key Lime sour from Monday night brewing was a pleasant surprise. On a side note, I never thought that I would sit in a restaurant outside of California and hear the Music of Frightened Rabbit and The National while eating. Well done 👍🏻

Cool place with great food. We got lucky and were placed in a “booth” which was really cool. Our waitress Lee was great and so friendly. We had fried liver and two burgers (Sink and Celine Dijon) with fries and everything was really tasty. My gin and tonic cocktail was ok but nothing special—maybe I should’ve chosen something else. Overall a very pleasant experience and highly recommend!

we have a history here, and I will explain later. on to the food!

I had the salmon, and it truly was one of the best I have had! I would love the recipe because it was better than what I make. the Carrot Puree, Asparagus, Maple Soy Ginger + Toasted Sesame Seeds were perfect complements of each other. good size serving with plenty to share. the skin could have been crisper, but the flavor made up for it. truly, it was an OMG reaction!
I also had the side of pimento cheese grits to share, super good and unique!

wife had the spinach salad with added shrimp. the shrimp was nice and big and big portion. perfectly cooked and seasoned.

the price is totally acceptable for the quality of food. almost felt it was under priced.

the history here is that I met my wife at the start of the original LR location (an old service station changed into a restaurant) , proposed to her there, and came here for our 10th year anniversary.

this place is worth a try if you haven't been here and are in the area. it won't break the wallet, and the quality is phenomenal. in over 10 years, we have never been disappointed.
they have another restaurant called LR Burger with a few locations. those burgers are worth a stop too!

This place is amazing. The ability to make a reservation for Sunday brunch is the 1st greatest quality. 2nd is the food was delicious. They're a farm to table restaurant with organic options when available. They made kale taste good which isn't easy for a picky eater like myself. The portions were good and so tasty. Service was great even though it was busy. It's a new favorite. It's a must try. 3rd everything is reasonably priced. Most of the places I try to review the dishes are between $7-15 per plate because I want everyone you can dine with great food even on a budget. They list them at $$, so I guess other restaurants that have $17-25/per plate must be $$$. It's an amazing option for the dining experience and the price won't break the bank.

Had a lovely evening with my sister. We sat outside and greeted by our waitress Cynthia B.
I ordered an Old Fashioned which was phenomenal and my sister had a dirty martini which she loved . It appeared the popular drink of the night was the Rain on Blood so my sister and I decided to switch it up and ordered one each. While it looks beautiful I would say it’s definitely an acquired taste .. I would describe it as a citrus flavored dark wine.. but if you’re looking for a nice buzz 1 or two of those will do it.

For her main My sister ordered the Gambas al Aiillo and a side of the Smoked Gouda and Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes which she loved. And I regrettably got the Country Fried Steak. I think the steak was very tuff, unseasoned and not tender towards the end it was almost inedible and I couldn’t finish it . I can’t figure out if was the onion mushroom sauce or maybe the meat it’s self. As for The mash potatoes though tasty I’d say it’s definitely in need of a little more Gouda and roasted garlic flavoring or just a name change to “slightly enhanced mash potatoes”.

We ended the night with an amazing top teir Crème Brûlée .

Though my main wasn’t the best it was still a great dining experience.

Note to self: ill be sure to go with the smoked wings next time.

All in all good service , nice vibes and atmosphere and very friendly staff.

This restaurant has a very good industrial look and feel. I love the open ceiling concept with old school classic brick walls and the garage doors. Very good design and the food, drinks and service helped push it to five starz for me.

Sunday brunch time. Until 2:30 pm. The food was amazing. Very seasoned. I had a shrimp and provolone omelet with Gambas and a Blood and Rain drink. Kind of like an old fashioned.

Went for lunch. Great food and service. I had the bibimbap bowl and it was excellent. Cool atmosphere as well. The street parking in the area was frustrating but that’s not on LR.

The food was delicious, but the 5th 🌟 is for waitress Kaite. She had 5 guest at my table Sunday for brunch. Our seating area was busy. When I noticed Katie back checking all her customers orders, tables, and offering to help a co-worker
with getting clean dishes. Go Katie go!!!!

My favorite place, Jay and Jeffery re stellar bartenders. I tell everyone about local Republic wish I didn't live over an hour away. The food is constant and delicious. If they have a cookie sandwich dessert get it , you will not be disappointed. Bar chairs are comfortable. Just wonderful and welcoming Everytime.

The ambiance of this place was nice, with a perfect blend of cozy warmth and stylish decor. Our server was very nice and cheerful...I ordered their famous Butternut Squash and I was very pleased with the recommendation! Everyone on the table were happy with their choices.

Local Republic is one of my favorite restaurants on the Historic Lawrenceville Square.
Their Saturday & Sunday Brunch is absolutely the best!
-Chicken & Waffles
-Pimento Cheese Biscuits & Chicken
-Omelettes
-Bottomless Mimosas
Dinner at LR is also exceptional with a good variety of options for every palate.
My favorites:
-Celine Dijon Smash Burger
-Dr. Egon Smash Burger
-Cuban Sandwich
-Pan Seared Salmon
-Chicken Liver
-Bacon Brussels
The atmosphere is so chill & I love the decor. The service is always excellent & if there is a wait because you don’t have a reservation, there are plenty of high tops and seating upstairs in the bar area. 🌟Bonus in the bar area is their server Paul who is absolutely the best!
LR also has very comfortable outdoor seating.

This place is excellent. I had an Old Fashioned Doubleshot mocktail and that was great, the burger I had (I ordered a "build your own" one with bacon, cheddar and blue cheese) was excellent. The peanut butter pie is divine. My mom thought the Celine Dijon burger was great as well. The fries were very good too.
