Universal Joint Lawrenceville

We visited for lunch. We had two patty melts and cheese curds. The food was good; the burgers were cooked to the correct temperature and had a great crust! They were dog friendly, and our dogs enjoyed their meal as well. The staff was very nice and attentive. The experience was great there!

The food and atmosphere are amazing here! We also went on a Sunday around 2pm and they had a brunch menu as well as lunch. The portion sizes are great! It’s a great place to stop by when you’re walking in the Lawrenceville Square. They also have a large outside eating area, both covered and uncovered and it’s dog friendly as well.

Fantastic time! Bo, the bartender, was great. Recommended perfect brews and drinks. The Pot Stickers were great, as were the chicken salad croissants and the roast beef dip! Great time, great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Will be back! Thanks!

Came here for lunch and the salmon BLT and Sawyer were AMAZING! The staff is super friendly, and the service was fast. We sat at the bar and Sawyer took awesome care of us! We will definitely be back! 10/10!

Had lunch there today. It was a beautiful day so we sit outside on the patio under an umbrella. My wife had a burger and tater tots with a gluten free bun and it was very good. Always a plus for her. I had a gyro with fries. The tots were perfection. Hot and crispy and I was eating them off her plate. Also the fries were served piping hot which I love. Our waitress was very good, she took quick care of all our needs. Many choices in downtown Lawrenceville and the Universal Joint has always been on point. A great places for burgers and a cold beer. We will return.

I can’t remember if I already rated this place 5 stars, so I had to do it again. My favorite spot on the square. Great food, have had small issues with food before but the team there is always so gracious in making it better.

I brought my dog on the patio with my wife, the server even brought us over a bowl and pitcher of water for our pup. Top notch.

Also just a great spot to grab a drink.

Love the Steinbeck burger, their pimento cheese is excellent, full of flavor and put it on a burger with bacon too, great and they have tots. The spicy egg rolls are very good too, after all this is the south if can wrap food and deep fry it has to make it better, doesn't it? In this case yes, a style of chicken salad in a egg roll, another great choice. I had the barbecue nachos this time, not my favorite, but very good to share, maybe I should've gotten it with the smoked chicken that the server suggested, still enjoyed it. My wife lived her turkey club on pita. I also have had the grilled chicken arugula salad and the house dressing compliments it well, one of my favorites for sure. Great selection of beer as well. Overall, not a bad thing in the menu.

The food was great, though the BBQ sauce was not the business (but I usually don't like sweeter sauces so it's more of a preference). Staff was friendly and immediately directed me to where I could pick up my order, everything looked tidy and well cleaned, with guests separately watching the Falcons game. All in all a great experience and I would go back for their tots, potato salad, and ribs!

Absolutely great service and atmosphere, food was wonderful also. We had the lemon pepper wings and side salads. The salads were amazing all by themselves! The bartender recommended the lemon zest dressing and could not have been more right. Perfect spot for lunch or a night out. Staff was fantastic. Will definitely go again and again, a real gem in Lawrenceville

Great hidden gem. Food is always consistent. My son enjoyed his angus burger. I had a turkey burger and side salad. The other pics is from a visit I forgot to post. Never a wait and food arrives fast and fresh. Good eats for a very reasonable price.

MS. Sunshine took excellent care of us. we come here all the time. Open late with vegetarian options and customer service is always so wonderful and polite even when we come right before they close the kitchen (at 10) cause we get off late. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!! Always have an amazing time here! Julie was an amazing bartender!!! She was so attentive and quick with every thing my group needed. There wasn’t one moment where we needed something and she wasn’t there. Truly 10/10 service. Definitely ask for her next time you’re in the downtown Lawrenceville area she’s definitely worth it. Can’t wait to stop by again.

I've never had a bad experience here at Universal Joint. All burgers and brews are good choices.

Today I tried the buffalo chicken sandwich and was not disappointed. not as messy as you might think.

I had a great first experience at this local eatery. My favorite was the bbq nachos. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was very inviting. Our waitress Kayla was great and very attentive. But what really won us over was when the owner Bruce came around, introduced himself and said he appreciated our business! I will definitely revisit Universal Joint in Lawrenceville, and let my friends and family know that they should give it a try too!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! We had Jamie as our waitress and she was so attentive and amazing! Sawyer was also great, he made sure everything went well for us! Overall an incredible experience!!

Really good food and beer selection I got a sour that was great. They also allow tasting of beers. The service was great and the food was great.
The patio is super dog friendly they even gave our pup a Universal joint bandana.

Today was my first visit and it was great! The bacon cheddar burger was awesome and the drink selection was nice but above all our server, Johnny, was the best! I love great service and he surely delivered!

Another great visit at Universal Joint today! It's definitely becoming a favorite of mine. I can't remember our waitress name but she was on point, friendly and an all around great waitress.

Soooo good!!! I got the burger with pimento cheese, hubs got the salmon blt, both were delicious! I also tried their BlackBerry lemonade and it was awesome!! We used their "call ahead" feature on their website before we went and didn't have to wait too long once we got there. This was our first time there and definitely won't be our last.
Bathrooms need more lighting and better water pressure but at least there are 2 stalls.

Had a nice fall evening dinner on the outdoor patio. Dogs allowed on the patio. The Cuban sandwich and cucumber salad were good. The Brussel sprouts were fantastic. Great restaurant on the square
