Bolton's BBQ

Such an awesome little place with big food! We just stopped in to pick up some BBQ bc we heard it was amazing! The lady who works there was so friendly and helpful. We live 3 minutes away on New Hope so we'll definitely make this our go-to for BBQ!

Actually found this place by searching on my phone for barbecue places in Gwinnett. We ordered some pulled pork to take home for our supper. I remembered some of the reviews about the Brunswick stew. I admit I was skeptical since I haven't found any good stew in ages. I asked if I could see it. The very nice lady told she would give me a sample. Oh my, it was heavenly, no okra lima beans green beans that in my opinion belong in vegetable soup, not Brunswick stew. This is our new barbecue place. We can drive to the park or go home. Hidden gem.

Go there immediately. Stop what you are doing, even if you are in the middle of eating somewhere else. Put it down, get in your car and go. We have all seen the shows on T.V. that talk about finding a hidden gem, this is that hidden gem. You will not believe what your mouth is telling you, this little place that you quite possibly just stumbled upon has just dealt you with the best BBQ you have ever had in your life. Just when you think it could not possibly get any better, you try one of the BBQ sauces and your taste buds start having convulsions. Twice as good and half the cost of the second best BBQ place in the state. I do not even know what I would claim second to be, because whoever they are I won't ever go there again. If you are within 200 miles of this place and are not looking for tofurkey, head here and give yourself what you never knew you were missing. Have a talk with your mouth on the way and let them know that incredible porky smokey goodness is about to assault your taste buds with an atomic level of excellence. Real Talk.

Update 4/8/2019
In the past month and a half, we have driven 40 minutes, past by 6 reputable BBQ places, just to come to Boltons BBQ and get to go. We were having company over Saturday and someone mentioned that they were bringing BBQ. I said "No, no, no. If you want BBQ, I will get it from our place." I have no affiliation with the company but dang proud to pretend I do. We picked up a whole smoked chicken, 2 pounds of BBQ, full rack of ribs that I watched being taken out of the smoker, quart of brunswick stew, quart of mac and cheese, and large containers of all 3 types of their BBQ sauce. Every single thing got devoured.
I am not 100% sure, but I believe I saw one guy chewing on a chicken bone and another drinking the spicy BBQ sauce. Besides the fact that all of these items are taste bud Nirvana, it costs nearly half of what you would pay at the much inferior places that I drove right past to enjoy my hidden gem.

I was at a gathering this weekend, and someone had brought brought BBQ. I love bbq, and have always had my favorites for a very long time. After I tried the smoked chicken and bbq I had to rethink my list of favorites. This was absolutely wonderful and I can not wait till next time.

Greeted with a Smokey Delight in the air along with a country Hello from a beautiful smile. The sweet service from entrance to exit, a BBQ menu everyone can enjoy, and the mouth watering taste of each homemade selection gives this hometown stop a Five Star rating from me. If you're ever and Lawrenceville stop and try it yourself ... Bolton's BBQ!

Good food out in the middle of nowhere. Really cool place to have a resturant, 3 minutes from tribble mill park/lake. They also sell drinks, snacks, and fish bait. I got a bbq sandwich, mac n cheese, and Brunswick stew. Amazing. Only complaint is it was kinda expensive, but i understand considering how small the operation is.

It's a wonderful little place. The owners have have treated us like family... I especially love the new paint job... The custom painter is a great guy... W. C

Really, really solid barbecue. They make their own delicious sauce but I didn’t even need it as the pulled pork was so moist on its own!

Always very good food....wings..ribs and chopped chicken are great....smokey flavor and the brunswick stew is excellent too

If I could give this place 10 Stars I would the Brunswick Stew was off the chain some of the best I've ever had and the peach cobbler was to die for small place nowhere to eat but outside but take the food home it's well worth it big orders call ahead

Very friendly people. Small, but has all the basics. Food smelled great, but didn’t get a chance to eat this time. Fair prices.
