VERACRUZ is not that bad from reading the comments I haven't had any problems no roaches, bug,spiders, at all. I don't even hear nobody in my building barely. The only time I see children is when they are getting on and off the school bus. So I'm guessing alot has changed since then, maintenance could do a little better but other then that I'll recommend to anyone..

I just moved in the staff has been great . I called to see if someone can look at my stove they came right out. My apartment was clean I have no bug for the price this complex is not bad at all

Its a good neighborhood but lack of maintenance man fixing things properly and I had a big leak in my roof but overall its a nice place I recommend to stay here but check for any problems first

I stayed at Veracruz from June of 2016 to October of 2018. My stay there wasn't the worst but far from the best. I didnt see any mice but definitely had my share of roaches, waterbugs, spiders, and even bedbugs. Maintenance team was okay, they do a lot of patch work. Apartments are outdated, but you get what you pay for. My deposit was only $100 and in my last month, I overpaid my rent by $100 and they took both the deposit and my overpayment for routine upkeep that you would typically think they would do anyway for the next tenant, painting the walls, and cleaning the carpet. My advice, if you have to move here, pick a 2nd or 3rd floor apartment. My neighbor downstairs on the 1st floor had his apartment broken into.

Forest Park police are pulling people over all day long in that area, I've witnessed a couple shootouts at the gas station across the street, and I wouldnt suggest that you make a lot of friends. Just stay to yourself, make the best of it, and plan to move elsewhere.

Don't move to this place. Inadequate lighting in just about all the buildings. Holes in the breezeway halls. Roaches everywhere. Rent is very high and not worth the money. Maintenance is a joke, because they don't know how to fix anything. The staff don't have the qualification needed to do the job.

The Management staff is very unprofessional and not very knowledgeable. They are not following the time schedule of the hours of operation. They are never open on Saturday when it says that they’re open from 10 to 2 the manager and staff leaves early through the week. They are open until 5 PM, but they leave at 3:45 and 4 o’clock on Friday and that is very unprofessional. We came to make a payment to get our keys in the management. Staff had left and we were not able to move in until Monday because the staff said that there would not be there on Saturday even though the schedule says you’re supposed to be open

This complex will leave you with no water for 5 days and your unit uninhabitable and not compensate or prorate your rent. The office staff refuse to escalate or offer contact information for upper management.
Terrible place to live!!!

I have been living here for a couple of months and read all of the reviews. And all of them are true. There are kids always out in the hallway they are very rude when u ask them to move. You always have ants in the house even after you get rid of them about the hundredth time. I'm not very happy living here. I will be moving when my lease is up. I will not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. I'm very very upset. If I were you I would not move here! :(

This is the first apartment complex I ever lived at that always has issues with water! It’s absolutely sickening. Do not move here.

Where do I begin. I have been here 2 years and they have changed management 3 times. The leasing office is always closed, and security is none existent. There are gun shots going off at 3 in the morning, children running up and down the corridor screaming and playing "knock knock run", teenagers loitering smoking in the hallways and hanging out on the steps of the complex, I have to constantly tell those brats to stay off of my car, random people walking through the complex, neighborhood kids damaging the laundry facility, The apartment is freezing even with the heater on, and these f***ing ROACHES, and feral cats have taken over the complex. If you can deal with junkies, roaches, cats, awful disrespectful children, a non responsive leasing staff, and an old cold apartment with plumbing and electrical issues then THIS IS YOUR PLACE :-)

I gave a star because it's a requirement but this is by far the worst place I have ever came across a day of my life they have all these people working in the office, everybody says something different. They just take your money without telling you anything upfront. Don't even put in an application with this place, they email you your approval letter but can't even get that right hey sent my email to someone else with all my information on it....they own up to nothing it was a headache I didn't even move in but lost all my money.....I also have a friend who lives here and believe the other reviewers when they say the place is old run down and riddled with roaches and ants. Kids in the hallways smoking weed and they do nothing but take your money. And Crystal the property manager is the worst liar of them all she doesn't even know what units they have available but quick to take your money.....Stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS HELL HOLE!!!!

I have been living for a couple months and i hate it! People playing loud music in the middle of the night, people smoking in the apartments and going through the air vents coming into my apartment! This place always smells like cigaretts and weed! There are always roaches everywhere coming in the vents! This place is just awful i dont recommend nobody to live here!
