Fountain Park

I give it a five-star because it was a very nice park. It was very clean very lovely very nice park I enjoyed myself but I would have enjoyed myself more if I wasn't or had to be afraid and unsafe. Because people were walking around the park with their dogs off leash and one lady had her dog on a leash but it was a bulldog and if he could have got off the leash he would have ate me alive because he was really trying to get to me. So because of people with their dog off the leash and walking around with vicious dogs I didn't feel safe.

Visited most recently for a community BBQ hosted by Second Baptist. Great time.

The last time we were there was after a rain storm in 2021 and there was drift wood and debris around the park. Parks and Rec has definitely cleaned up since then. No complaints about the space except how hard it is to keep a toddler out of the volleyball sand that still has some standing water on it😂🤦‍♂. Note to self, stop going after it has rained the day prior.

There is a public pool that is listed on Google with a photo included, but I have yet to see it. On my list to find. The public bathroom was open.

Fountain park is nice for families or just walking your dog the have BBQ grills picnic tables a swimming pool a play ground for the kids baseball and basketball areas and a trail for walking very nice and peaceful

There is a nice wooded trail for walking, running, or biking. You can opt for the one mile walk or two miles. The half mile is marked.

Nice park to have a family gathering, everyone got alone despite it being various people

This park is clean. I walk through Wellston Trail, and I feel safe. People are pretty friendly.

Been going here for atleast 10 years every single day. All the amenities of a regular park but they also have a swimming pool and 2 walking trails

A very nice place to walk. Lots of shade. Great place to sit and relax. Restrooms are around. Dogs are welcome. Lots of places for kids to run around. Old park.

Very nice two mile trail

A great park that boasts a friendly community. There are always children in the park, and there are often local ball games and practices. The paved mile trail is shaded and relaxing. It is not uncommon to see people biking and boarding the trail. It is a great family location. There are many tables and benches to enjoy fresh air, and the covered tables provide a great outdoor celebration area. There is a small "Little Library" at the front of the park that is typically stocked with books.

Recently renovations are a nice addition to our community.

Been going there since I was a baby. There's a swing set, but only 3 swings, one a baby swing. 2 large covered pavilions with benches. There's a water spigot, but if you want to grill you have to bring your own. There's also a basketball court, a baseball diamond and a volleyball court. And a mile long walking trail. There's 2 big plastic slides and a couple of climbing things: a wall and a spiderweb dome. Plenty of shade trees, so the equipment doesn't get too hot to play on. And also, there is a pool. I think it closes during the fall and winter months, cause it's covered, currently. A great place to take your young'uns on a lazy day, birthday parties, or just to sit in the shade and read a while. Go check it out.

Kids love this place. BUT the pool is never open to the public but 3 days a week. The summer is a small 4 months a year. How can you have a community pool and it's only open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Personal, private, clean, beautifully landscaped, feeling of safety, and offers opportunity for creative physical activity... Love that!

This is a great park for kids and adults. Lots of things to do in a clean and open environment. Dogs are welcome and there is even a walking trail. The people ive met are very nice also the kids my daughter plays with are respectful and fun. I will be visiting again for sure.

Great 1 mile partially wooded walking trail and pet friendly. Also has a pool and creek. Me and my dog go jogging there most days. Very thankful for this little escape conveniently located in the middle of the city.

Nice small park. Great for small children and family gatherings. lots of activity areas and spaces. Pleasantly Surprising And Clean.
