Emory Hillandale Hospital

First time coming and they were actually nice. I didn't wait long in the waiting room, they quickly came in the room to draw blood, urine sample, CT scan, EKG. Everyone was nice, took what I said seriously, listed, HELPED! I was skeptical at first but happy I came.

Everyone we interacted with, especially the nursing staff and doctors, were extremely professional, compassionate, and thorough. We have always been impressed with the Emory system of health care, and Hillandale was no exception. The facility was clean, we were seen in a timely manner, and no one was ever rude to us. They made a difficult time as comfort as was possible. We were very impressed.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff that escorted me in a wheelchair from one area of the hospital to another because it was too far for me to walk. They also propped my walker onto the chair so that it could be ported also. I've never been treated so well and kind and with the utmost respect by any other hospital or medical group than Emory Hillandale.

When I tell you guys last night I was in so much pain and decided to go to this hospital since it was closer to where I ended my work shift. Despite all the reviews I read I still went with an open mind. When I tell you the doctor who goes by the name Ava treated me so well and let’s not forget about SHERRI OMG SHE IS AMAZING!!! I have a phobia when it comes to needles but when I tell you out of all the years I’ve been living I never met someone who was so quick and gentle. It was over before I could even begin to think about it. I pray this falls in the right hands and Ava and Sherri both receive to recognization that they truly deserve. Thanks lady for treating me so kinda and patient and understanding! I walk out with all smiles and I didn’t even have to wait long.

I was recently in the area of Outpatience Surgery at Emory Hillandale Hospital for endoscopy, and I am really grateful for the attention that all the staff gave me, dr. Foster is an excellent profesional and an real eminence in Gastroenterology, all the staff are affectionate and kind. In the area of finance I want to say that I really appreciate to Mrs. Eloise because she is really an angel! Thanks to the Emory Hillandale Hospital for all the support I received ❤

I would like to thank all the Nurses and techs, on the 4th floor for the great work they did. I had a coughing episode, which made it hard to catch my breath. There was a night nurse name Betty,(1/18, 7p ) who is the "EPITOME" of nursing. She took her time with me, she kept talking in a calming manner, which helped to alleviate my fears. Because I had sweated so profusely she helped Change my clothes and the bed. This woman is an angel sent from God.

I was admitted to Emory Hillandale from May 12,2024 discharge May 14, 2024. The entire staff from check in to discharged was a fantastic 😍. I want to say thank you for saving my life. So thankful to have Emory Hillandale and the Emory network in the community.

They treated my Dad well. We walked right into the emergency room and he was immediately taken back to start treatment. All the nurses and staff were nice and took care of him. He is doing a lot better than he was when we walked into the hospital.

I came in to get checked after a car accident and Joenell was very helpful during my extensive wait time. She made sure I was comfortable! I am grateful for her assistance.

Emory Hillandale has a wonderful staff, who treats my wife periodically, due to bouts of pneumonia. I would especially like to commend ER nurses, Brooke, Liz and Z for their care and concern shown on our visit on 11-29/30. They were thorough, expert and compassionate. THANK YOU!!❤❤

Have visited the ER twice regarding my husband. I came in to get a wheel and was assisted immediately at the door.Pleasant and efficient service from the start. Nurses and doctors were on point and concerned about his well being. I’ve been here several times myself and always had a pleasant experience and always let them know from the ER to being admitted on a floor.
No complaints here. 👍🏽Thumbs up!!

It's never a good feeling when your loved one is ill and request to go to the hospital. I must say that our experience has been great. I feel like my dad will be cared for the way I would care for him if we were home. Thank you Chris and Joanna and all the staff we have met today, we are very grateful.

I came to this hospital a couple of months ago forgot to post about my experience. To be completely honest when EMS picked me up & told me they were bringing me to this hospital I was nervous due to the area that it’s located in. However, I had an amazing experience, the ER dept took very good care of me. It was busy & they did there best to help me while helping other too. It took a while to get into an actual room but I understand due to it being so busy. When I got to a room, it was very clean, all the staff members were excellent from all of my nurses down to the cafeteria bringing me food. I always have lots of questions every one answer then & no one was annoying by me asking so many questions which is a pls for me I like to know everything that’s going into my body. I can tell this hospital will be a great place for care for people. Please keep up the good work you all do to help people. I’m so thankful for you all I thank God for sending me here! I was just admitted on Friday September 8, 2023. This review is on my Patient Care Tech Dona. Dona was so helpful. She was always willing to get anything I needed and was always there for me. Dona kept me updated on my vitals. She was even put in a situation that was not apart of her job but willingly jumped in and assisted! I thank her so much for having my back. It is people like Dona that make your healing process a success!! THANK YOU DONA!! Keep up the Great Work!!

PPS: Also, I want to Acknowledge My Nurse Abigail AKA Abby!! She is an AMAZING NURSE and she have a healing smile and she is very caring and NEVER complains! When I first met her, her energy and spirit announced that I was in great hands. I never saw her drag or ever say she was tired or clock hunt for her shift to end. She was just always energetics, moving, helping, caring and loving. Abby is so knowledgeable and soft spoken and Emory Hillandale made Great choices adding these two phenomenal women to their staff! Thanks Again Ladies for making my hospital stay feel like a vacation at a 5 Star resort !!! ❤🥰❤

Dr. V. S. Mathews!!! You are OUTSTANDING!! This Doctor took all of my symptoms, very very serious, and ordered ALL test in the book to find out what was going on with my body! Dr Mathews came to me daily to check on me and answered ALL of my questions and made sure that I was knowledgeable about what was going on with me and what next steps he
would be taking towards my treatment, observation and care. Dr Mathews was like a breath of fresh air every time he entered my room being that I hadn’t been outside in some days. Anytime I needed to reach out to him he replied ASAP and made sure I was taking care of. He also made sure that when I was discharged I had everything I needed to become successful on my path to recovery. Thank You Dr. V. S. Mathews! Emory Hillandale you have chosen a STAR DOCTOR!

I was admitted on the 3 floor on October 11, 2023 and my tech Winsome was so caring. It’s seems as she cared more then the nurse.she made sure I was good and she love her job! Thanks wilsome for caring for your patients and we appreciate it!
