Southern Maid Donuts

An absolute classic of the area. I’ve always loooved their donuts. Just tried their King Cake for the first time and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Really nice spin on “traditional” king cakes. I thought it’d be too sweet but it was perfect. Love this place.

My favorite donut shop! The hours are convenient & the donuts do not disappoint. These donuts are hot, fresh & delicious! Makes me wish we would have one in North Bossier. Today I had cake donuts for the first time, it was recommended by the nice lady at the register. The cake donuts did not disappoint either. Recommend!

Before relocating, went here almost every Sunday on the way to church. Their donuts are my personal favorite normal glazed donuts in Shreveport, and their kolaches are the best in town as well.

It's tiny and usually busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but it's worth the wait.

Southern maid has always had the best donuts in the south. There service today was awesome even with the power out. They were selling as fast as they could. They were out of regular glazed but had plenty of awesome cream filled, apple fritters, chocolate coved and kalachis. I will keep going back.

We have tried them all. From Krispy Kreme (shutdown) to Dunkin Donuts (worst donuts and worst customer service experience I have ever had). There is no outshining SOUTHERN MAID DONUTS..now having been to all the Southern Maid locations and getting great donuts but bad service at all BUT THIS LOCATION...The sweet girls that work in here, the sweet man making the donuts in the back, ALL THE EMPLOYEES HERE ARE FANTASTIC, to go along with the best donuts in town...I have another location close to my house and as I type I'm driving across town just to get donuts from this location because the customer service is WONDERFUL!! Keep up the good work!!

We love being able to just go right around the corner to get doughnuts. If we ever move …. We will be sad not being close to them.

Soo good. Glazed was my ultimate favorite. It was hot when I got them and they were still really warm when I got back to my hotel room. They practically melt in your mouth.

These doughnuts are like eating a cloud dipped in sugar that married a marshmallow that came from heaven. That means they are good. It also means they are really bad for you but you only live once so indulge yourself.

Donuts were hot and fresh and wonderful. I was met with a smile from a cheerful employee that made my first experience here a great one!

My order of half glazed half chocolate were made fresh at close to 6pm in the evening! Outstanding! Can't wait to go back!

We always stop in when we are in town from Alabama. Great donuts. They seem to get smaller each year but are still worth it!! We will be back next year!!

I love these donuts so do most of the people I know wish there was a shop closer to my house have to drive 12 to 14 miles to the nearest Southern Maid Donut Shop .Wish we had one on Southern Loop closer to my home
