Red Lion Hotel Kennewick Columbia Center

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Britney w/front desk went above and beyond. Here for a baseball tournament with our son. The hotel we originally booked and confirmed with canceled our reservation for an error without notifying us and after receiving a confirmation email 48 hours prior to our arrival. Unwilling to admit their mistake or willing to help us. If it wasn’t for Britney at the Red Lion, we would have had to drive all the way home to be back the next morning or camped in our car. They had one room availability and was so understanding of our situation and accommodating. Her superior customer service helped us enjoy our weekend with our son, rather than be worrying or upset about how the other hotel treated us! It’s so nice to see this type of customer service still exists. While the hotel might not be a fancy suite like the other one, it has everything we need. It’s clean, comfy and affordable. Their customer service will definitely be the reason we come back next time!! Thank you, thank you!!

This is our second stay at this hotel. It is very conveniently located near lots of restaurants and a mall. We were here a week to visit family so we splurged on a suite so family could come visit us here and we didn’t have to all sit on beds to do so. I appreciated that this suite had an actual separate bedroom which helped when someone needed a nap and the rest were watching TV.

They are working on the hotel to update it but luckily we never heard any of the work noise. The couch was an uncomfortable one and the TV wasn’t a smart TV so we couldn’t stream our services. So it could use a makeover. But mostly pleased with our room and would stay in it again for the same situation.

Because we were here much of the day, the cleaning staff did what we asked but if we forgot to ask it didn’t get cleaned. Maybe they didn’t want to disturb us, but I would rather not have to tell them.

Amazing stay at an amazing location. The front desk staff were exceptionally nice in accommodating us. And Dommy at breakfast was very courteous and extremely professional in helping us out considering my disabled family members. Would most definitely stay again.

This location is conveniently next to the mall and numerous different restaurants where all the services within both restaurants and the red lion are absolutely fantastic.
The breakfast girl Dommy, every morning at the red lion is absolutely wonderful. She does so many kind things to all of her customers I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for amazing service.

At first I was a bit skeptical because when I arrived the main entrance didn’t have adequate lighting outside.
Then the main entrance and hallway ways smelled weird.
Overall, the room was clean and staff were friendly.

Our room was very clean, except the outside of the window. Maybe it was tinted. Bar was nice, people were super friendly and the food was good. I'm sure we'll stay again

Excellent location! A mile from Costco. A mile from the river with a beautiful walking trail. Clean and nice rooms. Loved it!

Very friendly staff at reception when you check in. The room I got was a suite with a very comfortable king size bed. The room was very comfy and it felt just like home! Parking was easy and hassle-free
Everything is close by...Columbia Center Mall, Toyota Center, Columbia Park, Target and numerous places to eat like Shari's, Red Lobster and Red Robin.

This place was nice and clean the staff was friendly, nice outside lounge area, kids had fun in the pool, the ac worked great. Breakfast was good, eggs potatoes sasuage links fruit yogurt bagels. The down side is the pillows are not comfy they are lumpy. The rooms could use a box fan to turn on at night to help drown out the noise from the hallway

Didn't stay in a room. We were there for an audition. From what we observed, everything from the check-in desk, walk-way, pool and conference room we were in was very welcoming, accomodating, and clean.

This hotel is getting a little older. Rooms were clean but a little musty. The hallways have a faint smell of cigarettes and are dimly lit. Breakfast is not complimentary. The staff was excellent. Outlets in the rooms weren't very accessible. Overall I had a good experience.

Fun atmosphere in Nomad! Check in so friendly! Going through renovations but still quiet, clean ... 2nd stay probably won't be the last.

I first stayed here in 1988, and it's still one of the most unique hotels I've been in. I mean, all the local Red Lions are sweet, but this one is so chill. A pure Southwest vibe (think Arizona or SoCal). The grounds are beautiful, and the pool clean. Loads of outdoor spaces to chill (after the sun goes down). Rooms are good, but not great. Walking distance of the mall and it's associated restaurants. Bar is great. Manager is super friendly. Room attendants friendly and helpful.

To the dude that said "bedding not changed, yuk yuk yuk, etc." did you ask anyone? Because that's all it takes. Just a little bit of courage.

Have stayed here on multiple occasions and always appreciate the staff and service. Rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced. I've only been in the winter, but the pool and patio lounge look like they'd be fantastic in the summer. The breakfast buffet is decent for the price and served in a nice setting. We started with our 3 year old and 3 month old, and they were accommodating.

Room was clean. There was enough separation between other guests that we had 2 quiet nights. I really appreciated that automatic consideration as they assigned rooms. We required minimal service so I have no information as to how well the upgraded breakfast options are. There is no "complementary" breakfast service due to Covid.

We received wonderful service. The room was excellent. One of the best beds I've ever slept in. Great maid service too. I especially liked the free breakfast. They have the cutest little pancake maker and they are delicious. I will definitely be going back

Tonight will be my first visit. I am staying for a minimum of two nights. I'll update after I leave.

Update: the beds and room were in excellent condition and presentation. The mattress was very comfortable for me and the pillows were like clouds. The Continental breakfast was pretty good as well. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I'm currently staying at this hotel for work. I really like this hotel compared to other hotels I've stayed at for work. The staff have been very friendly. Breakfast is pretty good, nice variety of foods from bacon to potatoes. Hotel has a bar, with a small amount of food available. It's not too bad, and the bartender Megan is awesome. Rooms are nice and spacious, bathrooms are larger than average, too. Clean, too. Only complaints I would have are the fitness room is very paltry, and the pool probably needs to be cleaned a little more frequently. But I highly recommend this hotel, I will definitely try to stay here again next time I'm in the area.

We had the best experience there, got in late the woman that checked us in was fantastic,and even gave us a late checkout at 1pm which was amazing. The breakfast was decent and they had a pool. Bonus it was close to the toyota center which is why we were there.

The location is clean and beautiful. The coffee is always warm and the hospitality is top notch. The rooms are excellent and the front desk staff always makes me feel like family. When I have to leave my house for any kind of travel I love to feel like I'm with family. The restraint is also great and had reasonable prices.
