Never had a problem here. The supervisor Kristie was very nice, friendly and professional. Had an absolutely positive experience. I'm not sure why they're getting bad flak in the reviews but give this place a try. Be nice and they will be more than happy to work with you. 5/5 from me. Wish I could rate higher!

There just aren't a lot of options around here. I've had the same issues with the front desk as everyone else, but I thought I'd give a review because there's one thing that drives me nuts every single time I'm there: the two TV's in the waiting room are on different channels. I assume it's to protect PII, but it seems like an odd choice, especially given the patient population.

I really hate to say anything negative about anyone who works with mental health patients but after losing my parents and everything I got a therapist here and it was quite obvious she didn't have a clue all she wanted to do was throw medication at me to "fix me" when all's I needed was someone to talk to most of the staff are generally nice however when dealing with a specialist they tent to come and go sometimes leaving you in the dark when it comes to important information I really need help but can't seem to find it I genuinely can't take it anymore

On my intake I was quite put off by the front office staff. Despite being very pleasant to me, they could be overheard saying disparaging things about a caller on the phone while I was checking in, accusing them of drug seeking under their breaths to each other in an office gossip sort of way. I thought that was a very unprofessional introduction to the facility.

I did feel my intake counselor was competent, concerned with my needs, and accommodating.

The psychiatrist I saw via video teleconference did not make me feel like a member of my own care team or treatment plan. She discounted the tools I had used with previous psychiatrists and counselors (I just moved from out of state- this isn't my first rodeo. I’ve been working on my health issues for more than 8 seconds), didn’t seem to listen to me or my experiences, and judged me by her experiences with other patients when it came to attitudes and expectations with regards to medicine, therapy and measures of success.

She talked to me like this was my first time dealing with my mental health care.

The questionnaires she reviewed with me asked the same things multiple times, and not even in a subtle redundancy check way, literally same question asked with only one or two questions between.

She made a point of emphasizing how secure the teleconference was, but made no mention of the person behind her who walked through the shot at one point whether it was a Pathways employee, child or house keeper.

She was working from home and the background appeared to be a stairwell and front door. Did not invoke a sense of privacy or security for me.

The technology was worse than Skype; I couldn’t tell the difference between the words “hopeless” and “helpless” and thought she had repeated the same question.

counselor was very nice, and i felt comfortable talking to her. the skype doctor, not so much. i felt like he was very judgmental. he insulted my job. and i was like, at least i have a job! i could be some welfare baby momma! anyways, i left feeling worse than i did before i went in there. i decided to go somewhere else. to others, good luck. hopefully your experience will be better than mine.

Absolute worst phone service imaginable, very clunky new intake procedures, was diagnosed without even so much as a personal question, just a filled out bubble sheet of generic prompts. Nearly impossible to get ahold of your doctor in a timely manner.

Kristy and the other lady that answers the phone are both incompetent and lazy. Kristy allowed my personal information to sit in her inbox for 2 months until I persistently followed up, Kristy (operations manager for what ever reason) decided to go back and forth about whether or not the information had been received, despite an email confirming she did in fact receive it and delayed inputting my information in order to schedule an appointment.

Horrible. This is by far the worst experience I’ve have had with a mental health professional. The therapist I had was lovely, however the appointment I had with the female psychiatrist after was BEYOND unprofessional. The appointment lasted 2 minutes , summed up she instantly profiled me (who was only 18 at the time) as a drug addict for wearing dark clothes and having dyed hair and told me she would not help me and I should NEVER go else where for treatment after this. I was then told because the appointment was no joke 2 minute I didn’t owe anything by the front desk. She later tried to bill me HUNDREDS of dollars for an extremely brief and extremely unprofessional appointment where she simply degraded me. It’s been a few years now, I ended up going else where after and received treatment. After getting medicated for my mental health my quality of life has improved drastically ( funny enough I did actually need help and am still not addicted to drugs!). I will never return here nor recommend anyone treatment here. I now understand why their waitlist was the shortest when I was looking around for treatment.

Its something terribly wrong with Kristy Conover, Operations Manager at pathways. She might be a patient here herself which would explain .... do not come here.

If I could I probably would give this place a zero because of how money hunger this place is, they take your money and spend it on themselves like for instance all you have to do is look at the type of vehicles that they are driving. This place plays favorites for their consumers, they let other consumers get away with more than they do others.
They do not treat you like a human being, this place treats you like the illness that you have. And they treat you like a little child.
Take this from a person that has been in the program for over twenty years...
