William & Lee Park

The William and Lee Park has a recreation center that we rented for our family reunion. The facility was clean and comfortable for an event with up to 100 - 125 guests. The swimming pool was a welcomed addition to the activities for the weekend. There are restrictions that will limit our ability to rent this facility in the future. However, it's a great facility for many events. If you have family members who know how to swim, this is not the place for them. They do not allow swimming in the deep end of the pool. Many family members who swim were disappointed.

Nice facility! We booked and had our family reunion there. Everything was great, I just wish that we would have booked the larger facility, as we had a large group. But there was working AC, the kitchen and prep area was spacious, and there was plenty of storage for our decorations and those behind the scenes items. The pool was open and there is plenty of space and land, should you choose to go outside in the heat.

The only downside for me is that patrons are unable to eat seafood, like shrimp or crawfish, in the building. You have to keep those food items outside.

Otherwise, great venue.

We was Invited to a denim and while party last night it was beautiful I would keep this place in mind.

I went to an event for Family and Friends Day for the first time and it was really nice, meeting people and having fun. I will do it again if the opportunity is available next year!!!

Love how they have improved the park with the inside buildings. Very clean & spacious !!!

I have being enjoying this park for about 10 yrs.. There's always events for the community and the pool is a major go-to in the Summer!!

This place is a great place to book for family fun kids will enjoy this park

West side the best side friendly atmosphere for family gathering the BLACK HISTORY parade was Phenomenal
