Publix Super Market at Hoffman Village

If you haven't tried Publix's Chantilly Cake, RUN immediately to the store an buy one! Most delicious store bought cake... EVER! No bioengineered products! Was fresh and tasted amazing!
Staff was helpful, friendly and courteous!

Very clean Publix. Easily the best grocery store in Gastonia. Fresh produce and meats are the primary reason I shop at Publix. Publix brand items taste just as good as the name brand items. Staff are very friendly. Don’t forget the Chicken Tender sub =)

My sons birthday cake and cupcakes were delicious! There were 2 women maybe bakers standing behind the counter that kept looking at me. No hi, hello or anything! Just stares! They made me feel as if they did not want to assist me or want me to ask them anything. So I waited patiently and a gentleman came walking over and asked if I needed assistance. He was super friendly and made me feel welcomed. My cashier was very welcoming as well.

So nice it's unreal! The Manager actually made me cry, he paid for my groceries when I didn't have the money. My daughter was very grateful 🙏 🥲 Thank you to all the wonderful people who work here.

I love shopping at Publix Supermarket. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The store is always freshly stocked and clean. I also enjoy getting the recipe cards to help me try out new dishes. The cards are at the back of the store near the meats and sea food department. When you're visiting the store, check out the recipe cards for new meal ideas. I do not work for them or receive any reward, this is how much I love shopping at Publix.

I love how the store was VERY neat and put together. Great selections at affordable prices. The meat and vegetables looked fresh. The hot food they had cooked looked fresh. I had gotten some sushi from there that was very delicious and fresh. Customer service was VERY kind.

There is hope there is hope! That was my first impression when pulled to the parking lot and even more so when I stepped into the building! I moved from CA over a month ago and I have struggled finding a good grocery store like the ones in Ca. Till I found Publix!! Beautiful, clean, well stocked place ❤. I was over the moon! I found what I needed and a lot more. Prices are a bit higher for certain products but I don’t mind! I am sooooooo relieved now that I know there is hope!!!!! And even their sushi was so good!! I am not a fan of store bought sushi but theirs was so fresh that I got a sampler and it was very good!

Love coming to this store, I can always count on them to carry the hot capocollo that I buy for my boyfriend and i- the most recent visit was even more notably wonderful! When I went to check out, there was a young man named Jason who took extra good care of me. His customer service skills were top notch. He was very understanding of my autistic daughter, and even walked me over to where the children's snacks were (the cookies and fruit)- then he gave her a few stickers which meant the world to her when we got home. He was so kind and helpful, a very likable man! The other clerk who was a woman (I did not catch her name) was also so kind and generous, she gave my daughter a Publix coloring activity pamphlet with crayons to keep her entertained! Even the man at the deli was so cool. I unfortunately did not catch his name either, but I really appreciate him letting me sample the thickness of my capocollo before he proceeded to cut the rest. Very sweet of him, and very quick at his job! The little things mean a lot when you are a single mother. If I lived closer, I would stop there every time! I always make a trip there for groceries regardless once a month. I always love shopping here! 11/10, would recommend!!!!🩷

I just enjoyed a lovely first visit at this store! First, I normally shop at Whole Foods in the store, or Amazon fresh via delivery. I needed some Lakewood cranberry juice and I didn't need anything else, so I said, well, I'll just drive to Whole Foods and get a bottle. However, my husband said that's too far away just to get some cranberry juice. So I decided to Google the product that I wanted and Google said that Publix sells it. So then I use Google Maps to find the nearest Publix which was 12 minutes away, vs , going Uptown from Belmont.

When I arrived at the store I was pleasantly surprised at how large, clean, and bright it is. It was organized and all the items were blocked as if I was the very first person to shop. They had the juice that I wanted. And they had another juice that I love on sale for buy one get one free. I wound up buying about $100 in items even though I only came for one bottle of Lakewood cranberry juice. That's how nice this store is. And upon my exit using the self-check out I had a very nice exchange with an associate named Debra. E. I told her how nice the store was and I enjoyed my first visit and she was so friendly and told me about how to join the loyalty program and she explained it to me and how it works. She also gave me a QR code to scan it with my phone. I was very pleased because normally when you go through a self-checkout, no one speaks to you. So yes, I definitely recommend this Publix Food and Pharmacy. It is a first class grocery experience.

Very impressed!! Cleanest grocery store I have been in. Love how the lights cut on/off in the frozen food section as you walk past the doors. Special thanks to the older gentleman who helped us out to the car and to load groceries in. He definitely went above and beyond!

Love this store, waited over ten years after moving from Florida for the first one to open up in Gastonia to be able to get our authentic Cuban bread again to make Cuban sandwiches with!

I have been shopping with Publix for 30 years.
The best meats, produce, shopping The bogos saves you big time. Employee owned so people take pride in the condition of their stores and greet the customers genuinely.

Luke Pepper at the Gastonia Pharmacy was amazing. We had to get 6 shots between my fiancé and myself. He was incredibly gentle with us and we’ve never gotten shots that were so quick and painless. He was so nice to both of us!!!

I shop here bc most of the ebt shoppers (trouble makers) can't afford to sho here , less thefts , less likely to be robbed or car broken into , it's true , foodlion on Hudson Blvd. On 9/22/23 & was asked by 2 separate ppl if I was interested in buying foodstamps off of them , these are for ppl that really need it and here u got ppl that are ruining it for everyone that really needs them can u imagine the person that needed foodstamps that got denied bc of these 2 , they only give fs out to those that meet there criteria on top of myrtle school rd walmart has had 5 shootings in the lot and 2 stabbings inside the store you won't find that at Publix ever !!!! I've never ever had one bad thing happen to me in or out in the lot of Publix very clean inside workers all have smiles and 99% ask u how ur days going and are super polite !!!! It's pretty bad when children/teenagers change ur shopping venue , and they change ur whole life essentially. Bc I'd rather go out of my way to shop bank or purchase something than lose my life over a few dollars, a car whatever it may be , but this Publix is thee best for groceries in Gastonia and is thee only place I shop and they also have alot of products that foodlion nor Walmart carry , cream of shrimp 🍤 yes they sell it 😋 and many more products u can't find yrp they got it !!!!!!!!! Very clean store very spot on workers that are always busy , I've nvr seen any one of there workers standing around like Walmart!!!!!! Lanes are always open and the wait in line isn't anything like the wait in line at Walmart !!!!!!!!

I just wanted to take a moment and describe my excellent grocery shopping experience at this location. I came in on a Saturday morning for meat and I was met by an employee in the meat dept who took care of my every need. Later walked around the store and every employee greeted me with a smile and a “Good morning” and “Have a good day sir”. This is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual places… Phenomenal job Publix Gastonia

Publics has a great deli. Everything is always well attended as opposed to Foodlion whose small 5 pan hotbar sometimes looks like the food has been laying there for a week.

Every time I have visited the store I have had a great experience. I just went yesterday to do a little shopping and all of the employees were very pleasant and seemed like they were genuinely happy to assist me. All of them were smiling and had positive body language. I've never been to a mess or disorganized Publix and this one is no different. The prices tend to be a little high, in my opinion, at Publix, but it's worth it. They do have some pretty decent sales. I feel like when I want to be able to shop in peace and feel like the employees enjoy being at work, then I'll shop at this store.

Employees were friendly and helpful. I'm always greeted with a smile when I walk in. The shelves are always stocked well. If you don't see an item, ask customer service. They will do all they can to find the item.
