Newk's Eatery

I had lunch there today. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. The manager was working the floor and helping the customers just like the people working for him. My friends and I spoke with him and complimented his work ethic. Not long after, we received a free slice of wonderful red velvet cake at our table. I will definitely be back there soon!

It's easy to spend a lot of money if you want a meal and a fountain drink or tea, but it is good, so we make it a special treat destination. Today I had the pick 2 combo of the pesto chicken sandwich and a Greek salad. Delicious! My kiddo had the sausage and pepperoni pizza (adult-sized because the kids size is tiny) and she liked it ok. She said next time she will get plain cheese because the sausage has lots of fennel seeds. The staff is friendly at the register, and even with Covid precautions, you can still ask for the extras that used to be out for the public (ex: croutons, jalapeños, sweet pickles, garlic). The tea is wonderful!

*The prices have increased on some menu items and the menu has changed a little recently. Today I had the soup and salad combo (tomato soup and caesar salad) and my daughter had the pepperoni pizza. We were both pleased and full. They have discontinued carrying the bread and butter pickles and we didn't see the garlic, either, so we were sad of that.

The salads are excellent. I had the Southern chicken salad. The greens were fresh and the chicken salad was delicious.

First time ordering from here & I was completely satisfied! I ordered a pepperoni pizza 🍕 and caramel cake 🍰 & they were both fresh & delicious! I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

We were the last customers of the evening. I'm sure the staff was tired and ready to go home but they were still very nice. The food was wonderful also.

We always enjoy Newks. We tried the lobster bisque this time and liked it so well we had it again later.

Nice atmosphere! Good food! Love it! And some of the best sweet tea! If ever I am in Tupelo I will be stopping for some sweet tea if nothing else!

Guy cleaning the area is always smiling, making conversation, and seems to enjoys his job. 10/10 he’s great!

Lady at the register seemed a bit irritated as I was trying to figure out the sides were, I do have a comprehension issue so I have to think longer than folks.

I love newk's and their menu selection. They closed the one in my town and I really miss them.

News’s is one of my favorite places to eat. All the things I’ve ever tried have been excellent. The things I keep coming back to is a Newk’s Q and chicken tortilla soup. Can’t go wrong with either choice. Newk’s is consistently delicious!

Always enjoy lunch at newks! The broccoli cheddar soup is very good! Service is always good, the only reason I'm giving 4⭐ for service this time is bc the last 2 times the same girl has taken our order and both times our orders came to table completely mixed up. We had to sort through the meals to find which sandwich goes with which soup or salad. Not sure if it's the order taker or the order maker lol.
Newks will continue to be on our regular rotation for lunch 😊

Salads are amazing! The portabello mushroom pizza is so good. I love the crispy cauliflower crust! Also has the best bottled spring water of all time!

Been to several Newk's restaurants in different places, and they are always great. This one is no exception. Food was delicious and without much of a wait. Staff was helpful. Definitely will visit again if we're in town.

Great food, nice atmosphere and quick service! We liked the southern feel to the food and restaurant, especially the jazz music! Got to try crawfish soup for the first time and had pizza with shrimp on it! Awesome :). Will definitely be eating here again.

The food is always consistently good. The staff at this establishment were friendly and working hard to give great service. The place was pretty full and the team really seemed to work together. From the hardworking busboy, to the cashier, to the back staff, they seem to have it together.

They have really good pizza and sandwiches. Also the sweet pickles are a must. The strawberry cake is definitely some of the best I've ever had.

Always fresh, tasty, good quality food and quick service. Can't never go wrong with Newk's.
