What makes a restaurant great? The food of course. What makes a restaurant awesome? The staff! Thank you so much for serving our group of 11 late in the day on a Sunday. You would never know they had been working hard all day. They all had friendly smiles, warm greetings, and prompt service. Great food with variety. Thanks again.

Great place to get great food for the money. The people are very pleasant and work hard to provide a good experience. It’s typical fish camp atmosphere. You get a very generous portion of food and it is good quality

The food and service was great! The sweet tea was excellent! Get the baby shrimp and any fish! Cooked perfectly, not at all greasy, flakey and we'll seasoned. The serving sizes are significantly larger than I expected for the price! We will definitely be back soon!

This is the best seafood restaurant in a hundred mile radius of Lincolnton N.C.

You are greeted with smiling faces and friendly people from the moment you walk in. The menu is rather cheap for the quality of food you receive. The whole catfish is usually my go to, or the jumbo shrimp. Being born in Maryland I am very picky about my crab cakes but decided to give them a go since everything else here has always been great. The crab cakes were large, very crispy on the outside and moist and full of crab flavor on the inside. The jumbo shrimp were great as always and the catfish fillets nicely battered, and seasoned perfectly with salt and pepper. If your in thr area don't hesitate to stop in and enjoy some great food and beautiful smiles!

I ordered a "small plate" of the large broiled shrimp. They come seasoned, dear Lord they were incredible! I got sauteed vegetables, as my side and honestly they were so good...and sour slaw! I also got a shrimp cocktail. Look! Second pic is what I had left over. Whew, I'm stuffed now. So sad, tomorrow is weigh day, lol.

Great sea food. More than enough food on one plate. Service is fast and staff is friendly.

We moved up north for 4 years. We always talked about how we missed the fish at Captain Pete's. We are back now and ate there the other day (we live in Cleveland, NC) and it is the same delicious taste- Thank You for that. So good 👍

My wife and I when here for the first time. They are very friendly and the food is very delicious. We will be going back again.

A little wait. They were short staffed. My food was very good and my service was great.

We ate here for the first time tonight. I was extremely pleased with how friendly everyone was. The food was wonderful. The best seafood we have had in a long time. It wasn't greasy or over cooked, it was perfect. We will definitely be back and will be telling our family and friends about Captin Pete's because it's the best seafood around here!

I rated high because I do know their good is good. Waiting for drve thru orders for 20+minutes should be improved!!

Perch and oysters were not greasy, not too salty, the marinated slaw was very good! Big hushpuppies, and a generous amount, too!

The service,waitresses and the food were amazing! We went at lunch time so it was not busy, next time I go I will be ordering the Mahi Mahi and Swordfish!

After all these years we finally tried this place out. What a SHAME we didn't try it sooner!!! Shrimp Flounder & Chicken Tenders at our table and all was wonderful. Hush puppies are fantastic. Service was good. Older building with limited seating. We had a wait but 9nly 10 mins or so. Will definitely be back when needing seafood again!!!

Food is always good and the service is wonderful as well.

We were seated immediately and received drinks shortly thereafter. We love their fried mushrooms for an appetizer. The fried flounder is great as well as the catfish fillet. This is definitely one of our regular stops for fried seafood in Lincolnton.
