Mountain West Gastroenterology

I have been a patient of Mountain West Gastroenterology for years and have been very happy. I have had to visit for several different reasons. I feel like I am truly cared about as a patient and a person. They listen to everything I have to say and take my perspective into consideration. Before any procedures are done they thoroughly explain what will happen and what they hope to learn from it. It has been great working with the staff and doctors at Mountain West Gastroenterology.

Dr. Moore is AMAZING!!! I'm a tough critic due to working in the medical field and being a patient due to chronic Gastrointestinal issues. I could not say enough good things about Dr. Moore. He is always there willing to help and figure out what's wrong. He doesn't medicate to mask symptoms, he works to find the reason and treats the illness. He has diagnosed many of my issues and found ways to effectively treat them. I've recommended my family and friends to him because I trust him to take care of everyone he treats. Go see him, you will not be disappointed

Dr, Canale has a great "bedside" manner. You feel like you have his full attention and that his is not in a hurry to make his next appointment. He is very personable and caring. You don't feel hesitant about asking questions. His staff were friendly and efficient.

Mountain West Gastroenterology is the best medical office. Their staff is warm, welcoming and you become instant friends with them. They create a culture of safety and respect. They care about you as an individual and will work hard to provide you the necessary care to make you well. Speaking from personal experience when I was out of state and needing medical attention, they work tirelessly to find me the right care that was high quality and financial sound. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr Doxey had helped me tremendously! He has given me more information than I ever have had from any other doctor. I have Crohn's disease and I'm so glad I have finally found a doctor who understands what I need. Not only has he been extremely knowledgeable but also he has gone above and beyond to check all factors for me to make sure I stay in remission. I definitely would recommend him.

So far so good. I thought the Dr. did a very good job. He had all my records from other institutions and had reviewed them. He was detailed when explaining my condition. Personally I don't care about a bedside manner. I want to know the facts however harsh they are. That being said, I would say the Dr. was very pleasant.

With out going into too much detail, I was very happy with my experience with Utah gastroenterology! I was so sick and going out of town, they got me in right away! I was so grateful! They were all very kind and helpful! They went the extra mile in making sure that I got the right meds and called the next day to check up on me. I was very happy with my experience and even more happy with the help I received!

I can't say enough about the wonderful care and amazing doctor I had at Mountain West Gastroenterology. Dr. Canale really listened to me. I had been going to doctors for two years trying to find out what was wrong with me and he is the first one to discover I had Celiac Disease. I was shocked because I didn't have the typical symptoms. He is very skilled at the procedures and has a wonderful bedside manner.
My husband, also an MD, needed to have a colon ostomy and put it off for years. Due to how impressed we were with Dr. Canale, my husband agreed to have it done. He saved my husbands life due to what he found and removed.
I can't recommend him more! Great office staff too.

I enjoy the staff at Dr Moore's office, the nurses are very helpful and great to work with. We have had several colonoscopy's with Dr Moore and find he is a very capable doctor and trust his diagnosis.

The staff are fantastic! They have given me lots of good information and always take great care of me. They have recently started doing IV infusions right in the office which makes it so much easier for me.

I was very pleased with my visit. Dr. Moore was professional and personable. He explained options and course of treatment very well. I also appreciated his concern for the costs of medication. I highly recommend Dr. Moore.

Dr. Moore was personable and happy to answer any questions I had. The nurses and staff were pleasant, and caring. I feel that they will give me the best treatment possible.

Mountain West Gastroenterology has been an important part of my health and lifestyle for years. I didn't ask for crohns disease, but the staff and doctors at MWG have treated me with compassion, understanding, given me wonderful service and insight into this mysterious disease. I have spent many many days in the hospital and have always had one of their staff on board assisting in my care. I would recommend MWG and their staff to anyone and frequently do.

I can't praise Dr Hilbig, his staff and Nurse Stephanie enough for their care and concern for my health. I have seen many doctors in my life but Dr Hilbig has surpassed them all. I would highly recommend him to anyone contemplating the big "C".

I've gone to three other doctors that would never call me back and gave me inaccurate information and we're very belittling to me. That's when I went to Mountain West Gastroenterology I saw dr. Canale I felt like not only dr. Canale but his staff took the time to know me and understand what my concerns were. I would gladly refer any of my friends and family to Mountain West Gastroenterology.

You could not ask for a better GI doc and staff than those you find at Mountain West Gastroenterology. Kind, caring, knowledgeable and helpful just don't begin to describe Dr. Canale and his staff. After almost 2 years of weight loss, pain, and discomfort I had a diagnosis and relief that has made my life so much better. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I saw Dr. Moore and he took his time listening to my concerns, answering all my questions, offering suggestions and even gave me 2 large amounts of samples to try. He was earnestly concerned and cared for me as a person not just a number!

I have always been treated extremely well at Utah Gastroenerology. They take their time to discuss everything with me and they listen to my concerns. I will recommend them always.

Dr. Moore is very knowledgeable and takes the time to review your situation and give you lots of possible treatments. I was very happy with his services.
