Nice area with small visitors center/shop in addition to some trails and a beautiful overlook. Go up the road across the street from the visitors center and drive past the small Lodge and checkout the view from beside the water tower

Food was delicious and hot. Dine in area was clean. Service was quick and helpful.

The thing that made my experience on the positive side was the extremely nice cashiers. The cook did a great job also! The only reason I gave food four stars instead of five is I wish that all Captain D's would have smaller fish served by the ounces with Southern style cornmeal breading. Not sure what kind of fish it is but it's thick enough and 5 oz comes on a meal which is about 8 to 10 small fish fillets. They also have an option where you can buy just fish in 8 oz servings. When I do stop there in Marion which is nearly an hour and a half from my home, I usually reheat the fish in my toaster oven. It has a great flavor as well as not greasy like the battered can beIf I'm not mistaken, I believe the Captain D's in Marion North Carolina off of Sterling Street has been by far the best Captain D's as far as food and their service is impeccable.

The person working the drive-thru was very patient and friendly with our large family order. The food took an appropriate amount of time to prepare, and it was all hot and delicious! Our only complaint is that we live too far away to come more often.

I don't typically eat at a lot of seafood places because there's generally nothing there I can eat. However, the 🍟, 🌽, and funnel 🎂 sticks are so 😋! The food was served 🔥 and fresh and it came out quickly, even though we had two separate large orders. This is a wonderful place to 🛑 for a quick lunch or snappy bite to eat on the go.

Friendly and helpful staff, food quality is exceptional and very impressive healthy options. We were very impressed with the atmosphere we experienced on Sunday after church. Music was appropriate and selected to
fit the customers. We were actually able to have a normal conversation and not scream above the music. Our new favorite spot.

Sorta ended up here this past Friday night because where we originally wanted had closed early and Wendy's was rude. We had a great time and the young lady in the drive-thru was one of the nicest people I have encountered in quite some time. Will definitely return.

We had a wonderful experience at captain D’s today 08/02/2020 best fried white fish ever I recommend it!!!we love this place we eat here at least 2 to 3 times a week!! Give it a try if you never had it.. the white fish is so fat and cooked to perfection!! Their GM Rick is also a wonderful guy who really cares for his establishment keep up the great work guys!!! Wow, just enjoyed a super chicken meal from Captain Ds. The chicken strips were so tender and delicious! And they present perfect baked potatoes always. Red hot and wonderful.
The green beans are outstanding.

It was one of the most pleasant times I had out to eat just me and my mother the food was absolutely great. And if I want seafood again this is where I'll eat hands down and service was top notch these ladies were spectacular to say the least every last one of them even had on a mask and I could still see there smile. Mom loves this place and brought us all around to it. Family pack pricing plus being able to get great tasting vegtables are a plus for kids, elderly and balanced diets all around.

My grandmother,son and I went to Captain D’s and the experience was beyond amazing. The way they kept the establishment clean, organized and all the condiments well stocked. And the manager went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with our visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

Greatest fish restaurant out there of all the big chains. Pleasant service, reasonable wait as food is cooked to order. Sorry that there isn't one closer to my home. Next time in Lincolnton will definitely stop again.

This place is awesome it has a great staff a great manager everyone is very polite it's very clean and it's very good food good service I have no complaints I recommend this place unlike the one in Gastonia Gastonia Captain D's is so awful so rude disrespectful I don't see how the place is still open because I have not had no good service there and I'm not the only one that has complained about it but the one in Lincolnton you couldn't ask for a better place to eat I recommend it . I never came in to this establishment and had bad service Rick has a good staff looks a good man he's a good boss man

The service at Captain D’s Seafood was amazing!!

It is located in the heart of Lincolnton, m North Carolina write near the intersection of N. Generals Blvd. and E. Main Street 👍 You will not be disappointed.... try all of the new sauces and especially the funnel cake 🍟 fries. The okra is very good as well!

We absolutely love going in and having lunch and spending time with our family! It is close to many of the downtown local shops in Lincolnton, North Carolina ; where you can go and shop and grab a quick bite to eat! The shrimp is awesome as well as the flounder!

The food was fantastic. I got the 3 piece fish dinner and my husband got the fish sandwich. The food was hot and the portions were large. The staff was very attentive the restaurant was clean.

Food is great. Service is great. Manager was wonderful, he goes around dining room and asks everyone individually how everything is. Great customer service 👏

Absolutely best around. I would put their fish above many very expansive restaurants. I saw the store manager setting a good example for the employees. Glad this place is here. I hope it stays just like it is.

My husband and I are here now..It has been years since I have eaten at a Captain D's..It was wonderful..The man at the counter was incredibly nice..And the food was perfect...and just enough ...We will be coming back often..
