Nice having finally been on the right side of the city to go into Simpson Brothers. A great old fashion local hardware store and boot store. Great folks, great selection reasonable prices. Easier to shop than the box stores. A most welcome surprise

Great place to come for any kind of boots, yard equipment and soil! Will always enjoy supporting a small business.

Update: Probably the least expensive paint in town. This place seems completely unaffected by inflation.
What a great local hardware store. Very old school layout and really helpful employees. The prices are good, and so is the selection. And if you need boots they have TONS. Don't expect the big store treatment from here, it's cluttered and smelly and wonderful.

The kind of service that you should expect. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Big selection of quality items in a small space. The prices that big stores won’t offer. An example I bought a set of mower blades nov 2021 for 35$ anywhere else it would have been 54-120$

My experience with Simpson Brothers has a long history. There are no better owners or staff anywhere that own and operate a retail business between Richlands and Jacksonville, NC. In light of the big box stores nearby, Stuart and his staff go the extra mile to get their customers what is needed, and I don't mind having to spend a little more to patronize his business due to our friendship which has lasted over 40+ years, and as well as his parents that my parents have known.

Best boots. Best all American hardware store. This place is a time warp hop. I absolutely love this store. I always get my son's boots here, mine here too. Wolverine, Georgia boots, etc... they had John Deere bicycles one year for Christmas. Cast iron cookware. Nails by bulk. Plumbing. Electrical. Overalls. Fishing equipment. Good place. Good people.

I was in need of plastic supply lines for my sink Lowes did not have them. I went to Simpson Brothers and not only did I find the supply line but 4 of them which I needed. As I shopped I found a gfci outlet of very good construction for a great price,then ad I was walking to the checkout counter I found the oval blue speckled roasting pan I've been searching for in flea markets. Not only was the price outstanding but there was more than one on the shelf
I'll stop by Simpson Brothers every time I go by now. Great store with an outstanding work shoe selection. I have to go back.

This is the place to get friendly, personalized service for many of your hardware, gardening, housewares needs. Additionally, there is a HUGE selection of men's boots and shoes. Not to mention overalls and guitar strings. This is an amazing store to wander thru.

It's a local hardware store. They are quick to and eager to help you find what you need or a solution to your need. Plus they carry some odds and ends that the big box home improvement stores don't have. Their pricing is fair and sometimes cheaper than their big box competition.

I've bought three boots from here and will buy my next boot from here. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. Locally family owned and operated.

Still waiting for 2 window screens that we ordered 3 weeks ago. We do love the store. The owner is ready to help and knows exactly where everything is. Found some good reasonably priced items there

I never do this but I was blown away by this place. They have everything you could think of and hard to find items you would think no one keeps in stock. All quality brands at amazing prices. No doubt in my mind they gained a customer for life today, I look forward to my next visit.
