Went to check out this little shop one day after a Friend mentioned it to me and I thought it was a cute set up, it definitely worked with the layout of the establishment. I'd definitely come back for some more pastries and sweet treats.

I had no idea that such a quaint bakery existed here in Lincolnton. Staff has been very friendly and generous and made our first-time visit very pleasant. But best of all the pastries were absolutely divine. Your cinnabon buns are meaty and flavorful and has the texture like Cinnabon but not painfully sweet like them. Yours are just flavored right. I have never seen a bakery that sold cheese cookies. OMG. will get a dozen of those next time. I have to say your kiwi lime pie was so good. one of the best I've ever had. I love the texture of your pecan nut cookies. I love how it crumbles in your mouth. your lemon bar was refreshing and light. Yes, will definitely return to try the rest of your pastries. Thank you for being so nice and giving us free samples. You got us convinced.

I am from outside of town. The staff here is amazing. My wife wanted to stop here because we were driving our pink Corvette and it matched our car. It is awesome how they use fresh ingredients that have no junk additives in them. I really enjoy how she makes her own brown sugar.

Friendly people and delicious baked goods. Something for everyone. The oatmeal cookies were outstanding! Lemon bars, amazing.

The baked goods are on point. The best part, I was so excited when I was finishing my pumpkin/white chocolate coffee and I saw coffee ice cubes! So smart! I've done that at home sometimes, but never have known a coffee shop to do that. They earned my business! This was my first time trying the place out.

Super cute little bakery. Sadly visited on a day where there was a power outage, so flavors were limited - white cupcakes and cookies we got were great! We will come back to try some other flavors.

Marylin’s Sweet Addiction is phenomenal!!! I highly recommend it. For my mother’s birthday I ordered a strawberry short cake and it was absolutely amazing. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from the bakery because it was my first time ordering but everyone including myself was deliciously taken aback. We loved it, thank you so much Marylin!

I purchased a small 2 tiered cherry lemon sundrop cake for our son's wedding ( he eloped). Not only was it delicious, it transported well through the mountains to Gatlinburg. Other treats, cookies cupcakes etc, are delicious as well.

I've never been disappointed in anything I've bought there. The cream horns are absolutely the best. Cakes are not only beautiful but delicious as well. Definitely a hidden treasure, and it's worth the drive from where ever you are.

Wonderful bakery! Great staff! Always welcoming! Wide variety of sweets from cupcakes to danish to cookies to coconut macaroons! They also have coffee with lots of different flavor options!

If you left a bad review based on your experience with the flavors/textures then you're wrong. It's as simple as that. You do not know what good baked goods are.

I've traveled the country and been to over 100 baker's from Cally to Main, down to Florida and every small town between. Seriously' This one is, by far, one of the best I've been to (in American). Obviously the French have their baked goods together but the fact I even thought to compare this place to France bakerys speaks MILES.

If you are considering stopping by here, you will NOT be disappointed.

The ***ONLY*** thing I can think of is the cupcakes are not AS GOOD as everything that surrounds them. They are still good, don't get me wrong, but the pale compared to everything else.

The strawberry tarts are delicious. And the Expresso is very good. Super friendly. The owner offered me a ginger bread cookie which made it feel very quaint. I'll be back....

Stopped at the Holiday Show at the Citizens Center today and Marilyn had some awesome pastries there, picked up a bunch and they did not disappoint! I've been looking for an exceptional real bakery for a long time in this area, and I finally found it. Really, really good pastries and tarts.

How did I miss this place? They have been here 2 years or something crazy and I never knew about them. Almost wish I had not found it. The pecan bites are amazing. Closest I have found to authentic homemade pecan pie. The Cherry bar is crazy awesome. I tried so many things. Definitely worth stopping by

I don't even know where to start wow. Okay I will start with the chocolate eclair wow so delicious, it's made with the perfect amount of chocolate, perfect amount of filling it's absolutely delicious. The cheese danishes, wow absolutely fantastic. The apple turnover so delicious wow. I got some bread also again absolutely delicious it has the perfect amount of chewiness and so much flavor wow. I am so thankful that I found Marilyn's Sweet Addictions, no puns intended I am addicted to Marilyn's Sweet Addictions

This place is located not far from the main strip of lincolnton. The staff was amazing and everything we have had from here has been simply amazing. We have been back already and will continue to be back to stay stocked up on sweet treats. Amazing business.
