Port City Java

I’m addicted to this little slice of coffee heaven!! Relocated here and needed coffee asap, luckily my coworkers introduced me to this gem so I wouldn’t have to tolerate the Starbucks monopoly. Not only is the coffee spot on every time.. the food completes the package. Shoutout to the amazing staff and management. Hands down the best coffee shop in town!

This little coffee shop doesn't look like much on the outside, but inside it is super cute and has great drinks. It is a cute coffee shop to just spend an hour or so relaxing in the adorable atmosphere. Highly recommend the strawberry mango smoothie. It has the right amount of sweet and sour.

The new cinnamon crunch muffin is literally the best thing ever. My bagel was so soft & literally perfect. My iced dirty chai was of course 10/10. This was my first time here & this is definitely going to be my new spot.

Even tho I don’t like coffee, I ordered one Smoothie and a slice of banana bread (I think). And it was DELICIOUS!!!

Second time in here. Went during the 8 o’ clock hour, a few people inside but the drive thru was busiest. Was greeted right away and seen/served very quickly. I had a perfect hot chai tea latte and a bagel with cream cheese. A lovely Valentines Day pick me up. Very clean and cozy. Bathroom is clean which is also nice. Definitely will be back for this inviting coffee shop vibe.

I love the laid back, relaxing atmosphere at Port City Java. It's located right next to the river, and there's plenty of indoor or outdoor seating. There's also a drive thru option if you aren't looking to sit down and stay a while. The staff were super friendly and helpful. My drink was so delicious! My wrap was just ok, but I was mainly there for the coffee anyway.

I have always enjoyed Port City Java, and this time I decided to shake things up by getting a bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, slice of cheddar, and an egg white, it was the best breakfast I've had this year. P.S. if you are sensitive to caffine take care to buy a decaf beverage. I was up all night😅

I didn't catch the baristas name but he was so fun and helpful. He took the time to explain the different blends they have. I ended up choosing Black mountain blend it was very good. I even took home a bag of Black mountain beans and have been enjoying and great cup of coffee each morning.

Very welcoming environment and clean place. Food came out steaming hot and the coffee tasted fresh. This was my first time in a Port City Java and I do believe I'll be returning in the future. The workers were very friendly and had patience with us. Recommended for anyone that is driving by.

Port City Java coffee drinks are always delicious no matter what location I get them from, however the Jacksonville location always provides polite service and they have cute little riddles posted on their drive-thru window! I appreciate how they find ways to interact with their customers, especially during this time of COVID. P.S. My husband and children love their milkshakes, bagels and cookies! They provide something for everyone in the family.

Very nice! The coffee was smooth and not too sweet, I got the caramel de leche. I really enjoyed the overlook of the river from the patio.. Will probably become a weekend study place of mine!

Great little hole in the wall coffee shop with great tasting coffee and fresh baked foods. Very comfortable and cozy inside! Highly recommend checking this place out!

Cozy little place with wifi and real mugs if you want to chill and drink coffee. Food is pretty good but I prefer it for the vibes.

This place is delicious. I do prefer a shake over a coffee freeze. The freeze i would recommend to people who like the strong strong flavor or coffee a shake has less of an over powering coffee taste.

The Staff is ALWAYS nice and helpful. Also the staff recognizes us everytime we go thru drive-thru. All In All Great Team and Great Service

Coffee is delicious, bagels are different and slightly doughy but so good. Employees are very helpful and provide recommendations. The store is clean every time we go. Indoor and outdoor seating.

My wife and I enjoy this place for a Saturday morning or just a quick run. My wife loves the baked goods, whether they're in-house baked or outsourced, they're top dollar based on her opinion. I myself enjoy the wraps and build-yourself sandwiches. I've had their medium and dark roast, respectively, and they're good, difficult to mess up plain black coffee; great grind. Their iced coffee is wonderful, between the lattes, au lait, and everything in the middle, with accomodating plant based add-ins also, there's nothing really amiss about this place. the staff are friendly, if you happen to walk in, it's very clean and the setup is humble and inviting. you really aren't going to regret spending less for more supporting a Carolina business.

I think this is the best coffee shop in Jacksonville! The manager provided me with great solutions when they didn't have my go-to coffee brewing, and when I had a small issue with the coffee, fixed the problem efficiently and quickly. So grateful for them!

Just had the most delicious croissant with bacon cheese and guac. The vanilla iced chai tea was one of the best I've had 🤌

Just found this place after living here for a few years. It was great! Good coffee, the wraps were phenomenal, and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend!
