Great little theme park for children 7 and under. My three kids had a blast. Animals seem as well taken care of as most zoos I've been to. Yuppies leaving worrisome reviews might just need to just stay at Starbucks. Children over 7-8 would probably be bored with rides as they are definitely geared towards younger children. Park was clean and food was reasonably priced.

This place was too cool! I didn’t know just how much fun we would have but we all had a blast! Make sure to get there way before closing time if u are hungry! Cause I wanted chili cheese fry’s but they already closed down for the day! Stuck with nachos instead! Lol it was fine! I ate em all up too! The rides were kid rides but even took my stomach! Santa makes horse shoe nail rings for the kids and my girls lost em of course . One dropped hers into the toilet! Owe no! But happily he made us two more! They are too cool! The place was amazing. So many wonderful animals and fish. So many fish! You got to go see that! Baby bears were cute and we got to watch them feed them! They have deer and birds and goats! Goats that walk over your head on a play house! Wow! We thought it seemed a little pricey at first but we definitely got our moneys worth there! And the gift shop was awesome! And the fudge shop! Omg! So many different flavors. We got three and they were so goood!!!! Santa mad his appearance and said good bye and disappeared into thin air! It was time to go home, my girls were amazed! Said Santa’s so magical he just disappeared! 20-10

We got there around 2 pm, and the weather looked as though it was going to rain, but I had already promised my son we’d go. Charles done great trying to get my son on most of the rides before the rain came in and Eric done great with our food. The man at the paddle boats was so great too but I didn’t get his name. Thanks to the staff for making sure he had a great time!

For the price you really can't beat it!
We had 3 kids 6 and two year old twins. Just keep the stroller in the car! They all loved seeing and feeding all the animals they all 3 got to ride every single ride and don't forget the paddle boats! The paths are not paved but I wouldn't see a problem getting around in a wheelchair. We got to see Santa which my 6 year old loved and the food was so reasonable and pretty dang good. If your in the area definitely check it out.

This place was an unexpected gem while passing through. It's not state of the art technology but it is a fun throw back to the attractions of my youth. The zoo has a handful of animals and you can feed the reindeer by hand which is especially fun. Don't be afraid to go and visit Santa in his house either, he's got fun stories to tell.

Coming from California this is actually a really fun experience for us. It was not crowded at all even on a Saturday. There was a line when getting your food but no lines when you go on rides. We rode the ferris wheel, Roller coster and the carousel. We need more of this in California.

We had funnel cakes, didn't get a chance to buy lunch but we got chocolate fudge and it was delish! I would go back again.

We were vacationing in Maggie valley and decided to spend the day with our granddaughter at Santa's land. She is 12 and We were afraid that she was going to be too old for that place but she fit right in. There are a few rides for smaller kids but the ferris wheel and the roller coaster was just about her size. The food was good and their prices were reasonable. The gift shop was filled with all kinds of goodies, mostly Christmas decorations, and The prices were reasonable. The petting zoo was filled with beautiful fur babies and most could be fed and petted. Don't forget to visit the koi pond and ride the paddle boats.

I went there as a child and I have brought my granddaughter back to enjoy it! It's exactly the same as I remembered back in the '70s, nothing has changed . I love it!

I have been taking my kids to Santa Land for years. I have had the privilege of taking three of my grandkids and this summer I will be taking two more of my grandkids. Fun place for kids and adults, friendly staff, love Santa and food was good too. Just wished Ghost town was still opened too.

Brought back so many of my childhood memories! I came to Santa’s land when I was a little girl, so being able to bring my daughter now was just such an awesome time!!! She is almost 2 years old and she smiled almost the entire time. (See pictures below for how happy Santa’s land made her!) We looked at all the animals first and even fed the deer some corn. Bring some quarters for the machines around to feed different animals and trout in the pond by the grist mill. She enjoyed all the rides except for the Rudi coaster. She isn’t tall enough or old enough for that yet. However I rode it 3 times for old times sake. It is so much fun and has some speed to it to be a small coaster. We had lunch at the depot diner and the food was very reasonably priced and the burgers, fries and hot dogs were very good! The staff in there was very nice and worked very hard to get everyone’s order taken and food out. Very fresh! The man driving the train was also so friendly and made our time very enjoyable. You can get on the train at the depot diner or at the front of the park at the train depot. It is a older park but I love that about it. Its simple and very enjoyable. Doesn’t draw a huge crowd so your able to ride everything multiple times and hardly ever a line. It truly is a gem and for children 5 and under better than Dollywood. Toddlers are impatient little people so Santa’s land is perfect. It’s small and has several rides they will love.

Loved seeing and feeding all the animals and fish. Baby bears, goats, and deer were adorable. Price is really high though. Not many rides. Game area only had one game working. Santa was so sweet. Bought ice cream come and it tasted really bad.

Awesome place to take your grand children. They will burn so much energy, I promise you a quiet ride home. Lots of animals to feed, and a talking parrot, total amazement on the tiny people's faces. They do offer discounts for different groups. Veterans get 10% off. Saved me like 50 bucks!!! I had a large group.

Great amusement park for children and adults that just want to have a magical time with family making memories. Ticket prices cover employees pay , electric bill to run place, ordering of all supplies needed to run an amusement park. So when I hear bash prices to get in amusement parks stop and think it cost owners something to even have the establishment open . Oh not to mention yearly taxes. As a home owner & vehicle owner I understand. Remember to save on cost prepack lunch ,snacks & beverage's. I also understand to have any extra fun usually is going to cost . Just enjoy your life to the fullest and your family.
God bless you all

It was fun for the kids and a good sized place....also not that expensive in my opinion seeing as how all the rides & stuff are free once you're in. U only gotta spend more $ if you get something to eat in there or buy something from the gift shops. Me & my kids loved it and staff was nice. Santa was also nice. The only thing I didn't like was that one of the animals had an injured foot/leg and could barely walk. It looked scared.

$24 is not a lot to pay. Even a game of putt putt is over $10. Here, there are animals, a magic show, some amusement rides (helicopters, Ferris wheel, Rudicoaster kids coaster, carousel, little cars, kiddie boats and kiddie motorcycle/school bus ride), Santa’s house where you can visit with him, paddle boats where you can feed fish, playgrounds, a few other misc exhibits, candy/fudge shop, gift shops and more. It’s definitely old-fashioned, but that’s part of the charm. The staff is really nice and helpful and the kids had a great time. My kids are six and nine and both really enjoyed it.

Talk about Christmas in July!
What a cool hidden gem in North Carolina! The Rudicoaster was unexpectedly fun for a coaster designed for kids. This place had me grinning from ear to ear. Definitely add it to your visit it's so worth it!

It was pretty good size for what it was. There was a few things that seemed pretty rundown that could definitely use some TLC, but overall it was a great experience and we had took five of the grandchildren and they had a blast. I loved how everything was kind of close to each other so they could just go from one ride to the other and it was definitely not crowded at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you go make sure you catch the bear feeding super cute ❤

This place is awesome! Nothing has changed since I was a kid. Great staff and a super fun place for kids. They will make memories here for sure. Lines go down pretty fast so its an easy wait.

Staff is also very good at keeping the park clean and safe for the animals.

❤ Have so many fond memories here (as a child and adult) and try to visit every time I am in the area. My daughter enjoyed meeting Santa and the gift shop. There is a petting zoo, small rollercoaster, little kid rides, small train ride, paddle-wheel boats. Enjoyed feeding the koi fish and goats. 🐐
