Our server was amazing. She had great upselling skills and seemed very knowledgeable of the menu.
Ive never been a crab person but the crab dip was amazing and definitely will come back for.
My boyfriend had the Paul Parker and said it was really good.
My chicken parm was really good. Only thing i would have changed was more sauce on the pasta. The chicken was super juicy and had plenty of cheese.

Don't let the shabby front exterior trick you! This place is great!
What a fun place with great food! We ate in the outdoor dining area and had a beautiful view while we enjoyed our meal.
We had the loaded French fries and clam strips for our appetizers and they were phenomenal. The loaded fries were like chili cheese fries and nachos combined and I strongly recommend them. The clams were sweet and clean tasting so also very good.
I had the crab dinner and my crab clusters were cooked to perfection.
Service was fantastic, even warned my hubby about the restaurant pet bird who will try to trick you into petting him. Don't fall for it if you like your fingers.
All and all a wonderful experience and next time we're in Jacksonville we will be going back.

A place that sure could use some freshening up, but the staff is very friendly and the food is good. Nice selections of beers and drinks as well. Location is great, perfect for late summer sunsets with some alligator sightings if you’re lucky too.

While not an impressive sight on the outside, the interior is quite cheerful. We waited at the bar and got a drink. We didn't wait ling, as we were soon seated outside on the patio. Our waitress, Caprica, was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed dining outside, which overlooked the marina. The food was tasty and the fish was fresh. This place had a lot of charm and whimsy (the parrot outside was entertaining).

I’m traveling from out of town for work. My boyfriend and I have been exploring the area while I’m here and all the must eat places. Captain Bobs was definitely on our agenda and we loved it! His flounder was cooked perfectly. The hushpuppies were to die for. I personally do not like seafood so I was very happy with the variety of land people food. The club sandwhich was specular. The staff was very friendly and we adored our waiter. 10/10 recommend this place, the sunset was beautiful and serve was quick. We were in and out in under an hour

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this place! Despite growing up in Swansboro, it was my first time trying it out, and I was truly impressed! Our server, I believe his name was Mike, went above and beyond by recommending his favorite dishes (which weren't necessarily the most expensive items on the menu) and even shared tips on how to maximize the value of our order. His charisma and humor made our dining experience ten times better. Plus, the serene views and Bo Jack the Parrot added to the charm! I'd give Mike and this cafe ten stars each. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit more often!

My fiancé and I have been coming here so much. Food is good and modestly priced. The parrot hates us specifically - every time we just enter the room he's in his cage in (I swear we literally just stand there and leave) he starts screaming at us and trying to open the door to come beat us up. It's too funny. We are always like "my bad, dude" and then we walk out of his room. He yells until we exit the whole building - we always go to look at him after paying our bill.
Don't know what we did to make him hate us but we love him regardless. He's got personality and makes the restaurant doubly worth going to.

Great atmosphere and really friendly people. Leo was the nicest waiter I've had in a long time. (Be sure to ask for him, you won't regret it!) The founder is amazing and had a portion that I could take about half home with me. (Also very reasonably priced) I'm happy I stopped by on my way through!

We went a little before lunch time and it was not busy at all, which was nice. The service was great. The atmosphere was great for us since we were traveling with kids. There was a game room (old stuff but kids didn't care). The patio with the parrot was great for the kids to run around on while we waited for our food. Rocking chairs on the deck were perfect on a gorgeous day. The food didn't seem to take long since we had plenty to do outside. The food was average to above average over all. The kids fried flounder was excellent. Would definitely return.

We ate at this beautiful quiet-today while we were here at least- restaurant. I had the Reuben with fries and my friend had the chicken Parmesan sandwich. I also ordered the calamari (not pictured). The calamari was 11/10 fantastic. I also got the New River Water mixed drink was so good. Our server was Kylie. She was very sweet, respectful and had suggestions for sandwiches because I’m always indecisive. Would definitely come back!

Wow! What can I say?! They really outdid themselves this time! I caught a black fin tuna and brought it in for the “you catch it you clean it we cook it” special for only 8 bucks! They prepared it FOUR different ways! It was as good as if it came out of a nice Japanese restaurant and the server was fantastic. All this with sides for only 8 bucks! Best meal EVER! Then we were even serenaded by Capt Bob himself. This staff really treats you well. I’ll be back!

Me and my friends decided to eat there for one of their birthdays and had a great time! Our waitresses name was Teresa and she was amazing. VERY attentive and had an amazing attitude! Food was amazing too!

Was our first time there. We will be back celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary and also got a free dessert. Was an unexpected surprise. Had an amazing time.

I came here for my birthday dinner because I wanted to sit outside. I love since they let us sit out in the water and enjoy the breeze outside. Food was pretty good. Clam chowder was so good and the clams are Super Fresh. Definitely want to back and try out more things.

Marie our server was amazing! The key lime pie was to die for…had the Mahi Mahi grilled to perfection.

The service/servers are unmatched. Some of the most friendliest people ever. The food is some of the freshest stuff you'll find in Jacksonville. My favorite is the snow crab and it's perfect every time. The drinks are super tasty, the atmosphere is super welcoming and inviting. It's a perfect date night spot or just to go hang out. I love this place and come here quite often. I recommend this place to all my friends and family.

The food is always excellent, servers are always friendly and on the ball, and you can't beat the view. I've been eating here for over 15 years and have enjoyed each visit, especially when my dog comes with me. My pooch loves sitting on the back deck looking out over the water. I love dog welcoming restaurants.
