Taste of Japan

Me and my Wife go here to eat every now and then since it’s a place near our house. We were surprised to see that it had taken new ownership. From the time we walked in we noticed a change it the vibe of the place. It was very clean and inviting. We were greeted as we walked in and were able to order right away at the counter. The food came out quick and the portions were huge for one plate. All in all it was a great experience and great food. Definitely will be back again.

Wow. Just wow. I can't believe my eyes reading these other reviews! Do I just live in a parallel universe or something??! My family and I have been eating at Taste of Japan since we moved to Reidsville about 2.5 years ago, and we have eaten there A LOT. Only once have I had a less than stellar experience, and even then, it wasn't an issue with the food. The cashier that time wasn't very pleasant, but she could have been having an off day, as we all do, and frankly, I haven't seen her since, so it doesn't matter.
Otherwise, our experience at Taste of Japan, either dine-in or carry out has always been great! Food is EXCELLENT, and portions are generous for the price. Orders are always fresh and tasty, and served up quickly. Staff is very kind; helpful and polite. Especially the manager! Shes the best!!
Just one family's opinion, but we lovveee some Taste of Japan, and plan to continue eating there for years to come!! Great job team!!

Delicious food! Very friendly waitress and waitor. Great prices! Wonderful atmosphere! If you want delicious Japanese food without having to drive to greensboro then this is the place. Everything is great size portions! (do need to invest in the sweet carrots but other than that top notch) *Make sure to be kind and tip your wait staff*

Great restaurant. Especially for such a small town. Very authentic Japanese cuisine. My wife is from Tokyo and we eat there regularly. Now bear in mind it's not like eating in Tokyo but it's the closest you will come to around here. Nearly all entrees come with soup and salad before. They also serve hot green tea . Above your average sushi selection great hibachi. Highly recommend the shrimp and chicken or chicken and steak. Almost more than one man can eat. And very reasonable on pricing. Family atmosphere with a very attentive staff to take care of you. Wide variety if beer. As well as soft drinks and juices. And authentic Japanese candy for a snack for the road. If your in the area and want a sit down meal or even take out it's one if the finest restaurants in Reidsville.

The food is delicious and the service was excellent

EVERYTHING is fresh! From the mushrooms in the soup, to the veggies on my plate! I WILL BE RECOMMENDING to everyone I know! I LOVE IT! All of the sauces are made in house, my shrimp was cooked perfectly! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Best Japanese place in Reidsville. Whenever I come home to visit, my wife and I make a special effort to eat here at least once. Their Hibachi steak with white sauce is outstanding.

I have been going here since I was in high school. Almost 14-15 years and the food is ALWAYS so great!! I love them!! I’d give a thousand stars if I could!!

I think that taste of Japan is a wonderful place for me and my bronys to met up at and they are extremely kind and generous to there customers and the food I is so delicious it just melts in my mouth
