Great spot for brunch or really anytime! Such a lowkey restaurant which is really nice never super packed. The food is great, I got the chicken and biscuit sandwich and everything about it was perfect. The service was excellent, always on top of keeping water refilled and what not. I need to try more dishes and I’ll update with that! Solid 9/10 restaurant in the area.

This restaurant indeed is very good and atmospheric! Nice and kind staff! We had 2 pastas - shrimp & chicken. Sauce for the pastas was delicious, chicken not overcooked and dry - perfect. Cheese board and chicken liver mousse great!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The ambiance was classy, but not snobbish. Our waiter, Rich, made us feel right at home. He was very knowledgeable about menu item details and was helpful in our making meal choices. Drinks were very good quality and strong. My wife had the 8 Oz. Filet and I had the braised Lamb Shank. Both dishes were outstanding! While it is not an inexpensive restaurant, the drinks and food are well worth it!

I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for special occasions or just for an occasional splurge on a really good meal.

We had Andy as our Waiter. He was pretty awesome. He gave us his spill. I had the braised lamb shank and my wife had the grilled glazed salmon. All the food was amazing. Andy did a fantastic job with his service. If you come request him. You can't go wrong having dinner here. It is worth every penny!!

I love this place. Went for our time on Sunday for brunch. It was so delicious. Loved the Crab Benedict and the Bacon Bloody Marys are an awesome meal & drink all in one. Our waiter Trent was awesome. He was fun, kind, had great recommendations and excellent service provided. We will be back! 😀

They are artists ❤ so good!! We had the buttered rum and apple pie cocktails, spinach salad (they split in two for us without us even asking 🥰), mussels, salmon and steak. It was all sooooo delicious. I have to omit dairy and they were so kind about it. The spinach salad has shredded hard boiled egg that looks like cheese but wasn’t. I personally loved the salmon most. It has so much flavor in the mushrooms. The sweet potatoes with salmon is such a good combo. We left very happy feeling like we experienced something special and unique with proficient staff. Will be back!

Always, above and beyond. On my top 10 list of the best restaurants, I have been to in the US. Consistently delivers, exquisite cuisine. Christmas Eve, was amazing. We appreciated that they were open, and made a memorable experience for my husband, and I. Thank you, Andy, for a wonderful evening.

If you're looking for an elevated dining experience in Vancouver/Camas, this is the place to be.

The dining area is a warm and inviting modern design, which makes it feel polished and cozy at the same time. Service was prompt and professional, with servers who were attentive and very friendly.

We had the seared scallop appetizer, the soup of the day (a mushroom reduction with creme fresh), the red wine braised lamb shank, wild mushroom risotto with prawns, twice baked chocolate souffle with espresso whipped cream and the toffee cake. Everything was perfectly cooked, well portioned for the price and style, and tasted amazing. The desserts in particular were outstanding to the point of astonishment, and it was difficult not to order more.

All in all, Roots demonstrates that you don't have to be in a downtown area to have a very nice dinner, and I would recommend that anyone visits for a fine meal.

Every aspect of the restaurant from the decor, food, and cocktails truly display the chef's vision of constantly plate fresh and seasonal PNW course. You will immediately see the relationship of the well-plated dish to its taste. For me, I just want to keep appreciating the plating instead of taking a bite.

We went here for a birthday celebration, and it was perfect! My steak was AMAZING! Best filet I have had in the city. Drinks, appetizers and dessert were also very good. The wait staff was nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend, and we will be back!

We have had their Halibut throughout the years and they have NEVER disappointed. Always fantastic and tonight the bourbon corn complimented the mashed potatoes perfectly. Thanks for a wonderful dinner experience Rich and crew.

We took our buddy out for his birthday and luckily we happened upon Roots.

From the moment we walked in the door we were treated like royalty. I had arrived a few minutes before everyone else so I had the chance to enjoy a bullet rye Manhattan while just letting the days adventures slowly fad away.

Once we were seated we started off with brandied chicken liver mousse & caprese salad both of which out of this world.

Of course we needed a bottle of the Ken Wright Cellars Pinot Noir if we were gonna keep this night on track.

Dinner consisted of the braised boneless short ribs, a roasted Alaskan halibut and their house pork chop. Lucky my buddies are very generous so we were all able to try each of the dishes.

We followed dinner with a warmed peach cobbler all a mode and Madagascar vanilla crème brûlée which was delivered while we sang the happy birthday song.

What a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend you check them out.

We love Roots! We moved in, just around the corner, and will dine here often. The staff is quick and polite, atmosphere is nice and relaxing, and the food was top notch. We had a great experience.

Expertly crafted food. Very good cocktails. We had the grilled flatbread, cream of corn soup with morel mushrooms, filet mignon, rack of lamb, rhubarb crisp, and toffee cake. Everything from the decor, service, and food was exceptional. Our waiter Andrew was very fun and engaging. He made sure timing was done right so that we could enjoy each dish separately. Andrew gave great recommendations for drinks and helped curate virgin drinks for my SO who doesn't drink. We had a wonderful time and will come in to try brunch!

One of the best places one this side of the river. Food is delicious and the service is great. The food is also made on-site, which is not always the case these days.

The menu is fairly limited but everything on it is top-notch with fresh ingredients. I got the halibut fish and chips, which were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

Visited Roots for the first time and Rich was our server. Very knowledgeable and friendly and handled my food allergy like a professional should. We had the caramelized onion tort as an appetizer, the salmon for the main, and the chocolate mousse for dessert. Everything was delicious. The tort was perfect with Gruyere cheese and my six year old loved it. Not too sweet, not too salty, just right. The salmon was cooked perfectly and bedded on a carrot creme base that provides a nice compliment to the savory salmon. Finally, the chocolate mousse was denser than I expected and was more of a cheesecake consistency which was a nice surprise. Not a cheap place, but definitely was quality.

A long standing staple of the Camas area, Roots has endured, and for good reason. You build a clientele on two things, consistency in excellence. I get them both at Roots.

We just had my wife's 40th bday there in their private event room. Rich was amazing and made our night special. Great Vibe, excellent food and overall I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a special night!
