Hands down the best dental office and dentist in Vancouver. Derek is the best and hires amazing people to work in his office. No dentist has ever been so gentle with the anesthetic shots!!! I have dental appt anxiety and it’s basically at the lowest point it can be when I have an appointment here. Great staff and people. They truly care.

This place is so amazing to get new tread on the tires. Loved the service, was in and out on a brutal filling, no pain. Will recommend anyone who wants quality service and good guidance this is the place.

The staff here is amazing. I have had very poor experiences with a previous dentist and I am always nervous even going in for a cleaning but everyone in here is so kind and genuinely cares about the work they are doing! They are always gentle and I highly recommend them.

Dr. Derek Michaud has been a solid rock in the Clark County Community for decades. His passed volunteer work on the soccer pitch with youth players and his continue compassion to his dental patients is second to none. In addition, his knowledge about dentistry and the way he explains it all makes it easy to grasp. Thank you Doctor.

I just had my first visit to NW Affinity Dental for a cleaning and x-rays. It's in a great location and the office is modern and clean. The staff was great... Vicki greeted me right away and I got taken back immediately. Jen did a great job with my cleaning and was fun to chat with. She even gave me some free dental goodies to take home. Derek is a wonderful and very personable dentist. I really liked the way he explained what was going on with my teeth, where we needed to go and how we were going to get there. I would highly recommend NW Affinity Dental to anyone. The whole team made me feel right at ease from start to finish!

By far the best dentist I have ever been to! I could go on for days about this office and Dr Michaud. He is an amazing dentist all around! (professional, perfectionist, compassionate) Hard to find someone so genuine and trustworthy. He truly cares for you, your health, getting you the best deal for your money, ect. and you can feel it! I love his staff too, they are some of the nicest people ever. My entire family goes there and I'm so happy I'm a patient there now too. I will never go anywhere else!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Michaud and his team. Comfort and your well-being are their top priority. I have a lot of sensitivity and getting my teeth cleaned there is a breeze. I just had two cavities filled, and even getting the shot to numb the area is no problem. If you are having any discomfort, they take it seriously and fix the problem. You will never get services pushed on you that are not necessary, and you will never feel shame for any issues with your teeth. They are kind, highly skilled, and just all around fantastic people. If you have feared and hated going to the dentist before, give them a try. I've never had a dental experience like this and they have a patient in me and my family for as long as they are in business. They are amazing!!

Dr Michaud is not just a great Dentist, but an amazing human. Vicki at the desk is the sweetest person I’ve ever met. Honestly all his staff is amazing. I’ve never been more comfortable in a dentist chair. Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment. You will be happy you did.

Dr. Michaud and his staff provide excellent care and go out of their way to listen and make me a part of how they provide dentistry. They have the best mix of professional and casual to make you feel at ease. If he moves or changes his practice again I will follow so I can get the best care. Dentistry wouldn't be right without some tooth wear/tire tread analogies.

This office is so amazing! The staff is wonderful, kind, friendly, and their laughter is infectious. Dr. Michaud is an artist and a true campassionate Dr. He really cares about his patients. I first started coming to Affinity Dental, because my daughter (7yo) was a patient of Dr. Derek Michaud (who was highly recommended). After a few of her visits, I experienced how charismatic and passionate he was in dentistry, not to mention how wonderful and extremely ineractive he was with my daughter. He made her feel very comfortable and made her smile with silly analogies that she could understand about tooth care. After that I was sold and have recently been seeing him as well. All around great staff, very friendly and interactive.

This is THE BEST dentist I have been to. Dr. Michaud is kind, funny and is never pushy. I feel relaxed every time I have my appt.

I have been pleased with his work and his personable manner each time.
He takes an active interest in your care, and explains everything thoroughly and in a friendly manner.
I really appreciate how he takes time to talk to you about what is going on in your mouth.
Follow up questions or calls are accepted gladly, and encouraged by his staff.

So yes I work here.... But my son had his first filling done by dr Michaud yesterday.... He is 13 years old and said to me " that was the easiest filling ever!" He kept commenting to his little sister how easy it was and how he never felt it ;) now that's great dentistry!!! Thanks Doc for taking care of my family ;)

A unique staff that actually educates you through out the entire dental process. They are not a dentist sales team.... rather they are an honest and truly caring team that only tells you what is in your best interest to have done. Finally... a dentist office you can truly trust! Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

I'm so grateful I found Dr. Michaud! He and the staff made me feel welcome and at ease right away. He listened to my concerns, answered any questions I had, and I never felt like I was being rushed through my appointment. Every staff member I encountered was awesome, I highly recommend them!
