Charleston Candle Co.

A gem of a store in Charleston!! I have been buying their candles for years, but finally got to pop into the store in April. It's so cozy and beautiful! Not only am I in love with their clean candles, but I also loved all of the other locally sourced goods in their shop. The owners are so friendly and kind. My absolute favorite scent is Sullivan's Island, but I also love and always have Southern Magnolia and Daniel Island on hand.

Bought No. 01 Botany Bay after smelling it in the Charleston Place Hotel lobby. Wonderful scent and great customer service, too! Highly recommend.

Chas is an incredible instructor and candle aficionado. Would highly recommend the candle making class to anyone that wants more insight into candles and wants to take home some custom scents:)

Lovely little shop with unique, gentle scents that capture different elements of Charleston. I really like their architectural series, it’s a very creative concept (just wish they were more affordable!)

Not only are the candles high caliber, but the precious family behind the brand are so kind! I have loved supporting their business. Watching them grow has been a blessing! I've gone through about half a dozen Charleston Candle Co candles and I can't say enough good things about them. I LOVE their scents; they have such a great selection of really beautifully crafted scents that are universally appealing (my favorite is the Charleston Christmas candle). The owners are the sweetest couple; i'm always happy to support a local business run by nice people!

My husband and I bought favors for our wedding from Charleston Candle Co. We bought the tin candles in the Charleston Christmas scent with personalized labels. We had a destination wedding in Charleston so we wanted to have touches of Charleston throughout. Charleston Candle Co. did not disappoint! The Charleston Christmas scent was an absolute hit! My Husband, Daughter and I took the Candle Making class and it was so much fun! It took a little less than an hour and we got to make 2 candles each with whatever scent we liked. We were able to name our candles on a label and they were ready for pick-up next day.

i "blind bought" (never smelled before) the no. 12 southern magnolia candle from here which arrived today, and it smells superb! i was in charleston a few weeks ago and wanted a candle for the warmer weather that was a reminiscent of some aspect of charleston, and felt like the magnolia one was the way to go. on top of that, the owners of this company seem like awesome people. i had a question regarding my order and they responded to me almost instantly. i'm certainly going to place another order here in the future!

I bought 3 of these in Charleston. They smell amazing but aren’t strong enough.
