Saw the South Carolina Ballet - Motown Ballet and loved it! Do wish they'd open the upstairs restrooms for guests.

A great place. We have been there twice just over this past weekend. We have been there many times and enjoyed Blue Man Group, concerts, and comedy shows. Can't wait for the next opportunity to visit.

I've seen many shows here. I travel up from FL. Most recently the Bob Dylan show. Music was great. SECURITY was obnoxious. We were told "the artist" requested no cell phones, no photos. The young couple sitting to one side of me arrived late ... 3 of us stood to let them in ..., left early ... again we stood for them. They VIDEO'D on their phones the entire time. They weren't stopped. A man several rows in front of me was holding phone high and videoing. No one said anything to him. I decided, wth, I'll take one photo...which I did and Security jumped on my row, flashed a bright light at me. I put camera away, I'd gotten the one shot. I saw them doing this to selective others. EXTREMELY DISRUPTIVE. The majority of audience was over 50, mature, and used to concerts ... like say TOM PETTY ... who used to say "show me the light", "get out your phones." Hard to believe Bob (a Traveling Wilbury with Tom) is so very different to fans. But it certainly left a uh-no feeling for me. I remember a few years ago at same venue Willie Nelson stayed after the concert and let fans come up for pictures. THAT is how its supposed to be done.

Excellent venue to see a concert. Lots of parking in the area. Easy to get too. Lots of places within walking distance to grab a drink or bite to eat before your show.

Such a Cool Venue! A little difficult to find parking until I drove around and found a parking garage , which I had to go back to after being told no big bags or vape pen allowed, lol

My husband and I were here to see the great Patti Labelle perform. The Civic Center was very easy to find and it's near several nice hotels for those who are traveling (like us - from MD) or if you just want to make it a night out. Also, the parking rate at the lot adjacent to the Civic Center and at the city garage across the street was very reasonable at $1/hr. Once inside, we found the venue to be classy and befitting for the event. Our seats were upstairs in Mezzanine 4 Row H where we had full view of the stage. We loved the entire experience and would definitely plan another trip to the lovely city of Savannah around a show at the Johnny Mercer Civic Center.

Quality shows in a small venue. Safe and secure. Great for local dance troupe NUTCRACKER performance. Also for older rock groups trying to revisit the past.

Even Bernie Saunders "played" there in 2016.

My job had a guest speaker, Mr. Austin Franklin who was freaking awesome and the City of Savannah Entrepreneur Presentation, or Inaugural Graduation Program was an experience I enjoyed to the full. My take away was never feel you can't achieve your goal. Just try.. I was there representing Mrs. Deanna Dudley.
Great Job.
