Ok. All honesty, I love Chinese and cannot stand Chinese buffets…BUT…This one was so darn good and I ate more than I usually do 😂. Soups were on point, entrees tasty with a variety of choices and the soft serve ice cream was actually pretty amazing. Who knew, right?! Anyway, the parking lot was full so that says something. Check it out!

The food was great, the customer service and wait staff were phenomenal, and the atmosphere was very pleasant, even if it was busy. The staff had no problem serving the needs of our large party as we invaded before opening time. However, we quickly became encouraged by how the booths and tables filled up as it was still an hour before noon. The food was kept fresh and hot, the selection was enormous, and all it was very tasty and satisfying. Highly recommend for everyone to try at least once because we could become regulars if it were so far away from home.

Starting with the staff, they were quick to wait on me, and didn't hesitate to ask if I needed more to drink or to have a plate removed. Excellent friendly service!

The food was absolutely amazing! Everything tasted fresh, and the baked seafood dish, presented almost like a casserole, was superb. The vegetables I added to my plate were cooked perfectly, with none of the flavor lost to cooking.

If you have a sweet tooth, you will have plenty of dessert to choose from, with an assortment of sweets or fruits, all wonderful and fresh.

Fresh hot food on the buffet. The butter shrimp were amazing. Service was prompt and polite.

Amazing food. This is McAlesters best restaurant. The staff is amazing and friendly and very attentive to its customers. The buffet is steadily refreshed so it is always fresh food for each customer. The prices are fair. The place is extremely clean and the atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend if you are driving through or stopping for the night and are looking for a place to eat then this should be your stop.

I travel for work. I went around 2:30 in the afternoon. I was worried food might not be as fresh but all the food tasted fresh. They had a good variety as well. Good buffet.

It was ok the food was good, I just don't understand why lunch is 11 and dinner is 14 so I think wont go back there ever again. Way to high

Second time here .. first time I was not impressed . For dinner this time .. I'm a happy woman! Everything is fresh and hot (or cold ) the taste is awesome.. better that that place across the street.. Hunan is horrible. I'm very happy here 😁

One of the owners or employees was coughing in booth behind us and everywhere without covering her mouth it was disgusting and disrespectful. Update: went again yesterday (07-26-23)and everything was great this time. Employees were good and no hacking, and wore gloves., edit: went today February 1st for my birthday lunch and it seems much improved.

Food was very good. I had the Pho soup and the wife had the Vericelli bowl. Service was great. Previously I had the Padthai, it could have been hotter (spice hot). Food Temperature was good.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in a while! It is very clean, food is great, and a great atmosphere. Employees are very professional and very nice. Definitely will eat here again and would highly recommend!

What a fantastic restaurant. I used to go to the China King in Muskogee but that place after it burned down and they rebuilt it is terrible. So I finally found this place in McAlester. Luckily I found it. It's fantastic. Great food and great atmosphere you will not leave hungry that's for sure.

The salmon was overcooked but other than that everything was perfect.

I used to go to the China King in Muskogee because it was excellent but then they went way downhill so I have been looking for years for a better place to go to than the average Chinese restaurants. This is a great find.

My fortune cookie was empty. But got another one so it's all good. Food is excellent, employees are professional and efficient, always clean and great atmosphere. Definitely stop 🛑 here for your oriental food munchie fix!!!

This is one of the best Chinese buffets ever. Their spring rolls are amazing. We live it and my son is begging to go back.

This was our first trip to East Gourmet Restaurant. We liked it a lot. There was a good variety of dishes to choose from. We will definitely be back.

We normally just get take out and the service is great. The food is always hot and flavorful.
