Indaco

Indaco was already my fave in Charleston but their “For The Table” brought it to a new level. With that option we received two appetizers and a pizza (Course 1), a pasta and main (Course 2) and a dessert, all chosen by the chef. Every course was exquisite and so much food. We chose to do a wine pairing with it and our server Kat blew us away with the wines she selected. Worth every penny and the best deal going in Charleston! You do not want to miss out.

The pork chop was easily the best that I have ever tasted.
Oh and the Caesar Salad…. The biggest, never seen that big of a Caesar Salad at a restaurant before, and only $14!!!! And I’m not sure if it is homemade dressing but… it’s amazing!!!

Had read good things about Indaco and wanted to mix things up on our vacation. We made a reservation on a Thursday night at 630pm. It was pretty full when we were seated but within 30 minutes, the restaurant was packed. There's a main dining area with bar but also an enclosed patio for larger groups. We were seated in the enclosed patio. Our server, Madison, was phenomenal along with Faun. She had great suggestions and was attentive. Our drinks were always full and the meal was paced nicely. They do the small details VERY well--bringing out fresh silverware for the entree, taking your leftovers and boxing it up for you. Very impressive. The food was also impressive. The polpette (meatballs) were incredible, as were both the foccacia and the prosciutto appetizers. The meatballs were so moist. I ordered the Mezzaluna pasta and an order of their crispy potatoes (still dreaming about those potatoes). Every item was fantastic. The only thing we noticed was the noise level. It's pretty loud in there, but the service and food were both so good, we ultimately didn't care about noise. Highly recommend.

So delicious, our group had an amazing time! We had a vegan at our table and she was well taken care of, and the rest of us absolutely loved our food as well. There were classics and some unique options, and everything was great.

The food was fire 🔥 We had the server named Buffalo and he was awesome. We took his advice on the best meals and he did not disappoint. 10/10 would recommend

We had visited Fort Sumter and wanted an easy dining experience. Indaco and its menu stood out and struck us as a refreshing place to eat. We were right, the menu featured great pizzas and main courses. The Lord's Pear spritz was light, citrusy and refreshing. We had a pizza, burger, pasta, and a brunch dish. All the the plates were expertly plated and presented well. My Tagliatelle's pasta was firm and perfectly cooked. It had the perfect amount of sauce and protein. Refreshing, flavor filled, and expertly presented, who could want more?

To put it simply, this was the best restaurant and experience we have ever experienced. The wait staff was amazing. We got to spend time at the bar prior to our reservations, which still continued the excellent service. We have been to many restaurants and several very high-end ones, and none of them compared in quality to Indaco. The food was fresh, tasted authentic, and came with a great price point for the quality of food/experience. I would recommend Indaco to anyone and everyone I know.

Been to Indaco twice and it really sets itself apart from the usual overpriced downtown establishments. Wonderful food. Caring (but not suffocating) service and staff. I'd recommend the 3 course dinner. Truly wonderful and I'm pretty sure they have the best pizza in Charleston. The only "con" if you can call it that is that it tends to be a bit noisy for an intimate conversation with a date. But that is to be expected when the food and staff are this good. A++

Good service, cozy atmosphere, delicious food from start to finish. Our server, Buffalo, was attentive and had good suggestions. The meatballs are top notch, as is the focaccia. Pizzas are large, and the butternut squash ravioli was incredible. Tiramisu was also large enough for two, and very good!

This restaurant is the COMPLETE package. From great atmosphere, awesome service, to delicious savory food. I will definitely be back to Indaco. Special shout out to the Chef Raekwon Cohen and his team for the absolutely delicious food. Also our server Alex was super nice and attentive! 10 out of 10

We were in on the 21st and luckily we hit their restaurant week deal. I had a pasta and shrimp dish that was so good. My husband had a steak that was equally amazing. The service was very attentive and quick. We were sat almost immediately and were fortunate to miss the rush. There was a line forming out the door when we left so clearly this is a popular place.

Had dinner tonight and it was excellent. Alex was our server and did a great job. Our drinks were always full and empty plates were gone immediately. The food came out fast and was beyond delicious. If you are Charleston and want a great Italian dinner with an atmosphere that rocks, make reservations at Indaco, you will not be disappointed!

I don't usually write reviews of restaurants but Indaco is special. I can't say enough good things about the food. AMAZING isn't enough. This is a MUST eat at restaurant. Then there is the staff, GM Maureen, our servers Kristy and Madison and expediter Emily, all made the visit wonderful. Such a welcoming environment. Thank you all, I will return every time I am in town.

I’m tempted to keep this to myself but I think the tasting menu might be the best deal in town! For $100 we got two appetizers, a pizza, a pasta, a main and dessert and it was all so delicious!! Our cocktails were separate but very good, I would have ordered the indigo sour myself and I don’t even like bourbon. On top of all that our server took such good care of us, we were going to a show after and she kept an eye on our time and got our dessert to-go. We can’t wait to come back!!

A great stop for happy hour. We had delicious margherita pizza and split a Caesar salad, and I had a Negroni - all of which was at a discount. The bartender was attentive and offered to leave a menu if we wanted it. The other bartender went above and beyond by locating loyalty points that I had accumulated and she said I could use.

I love this place! You walk in and you smell what an Italian Restaurant in Italy smells like. Pizza in the wood oven, dough being tossed, oregano, parsley, buffalo, vino 🍷. Bellísimo!

I sat at the bar, made a friend, talked about the trials of being a dad, how to be better. I was at the proverbial kitchen table basking in a common sense conversation with a friend I’d never met.

Italian salad, pasta bolognese, molto vino, Chianti Classico, Super Tuscan and I’m gonna sleep well.

Service was perfect, bar tender spot on. If you’re in Charleston and Italian is on your list, Indaco is your wish!

Had an amazing experience here! The server was very nice and constantly asked us how our meal was. The pizza was taking a little longer than expected due to them getting overwhelmed with orders but they gave us free meatballs to try while we waited. The meatballs were delicious and the pizza was ready shorty after! Definitely recommend stopping by!

Delicious and great service. Dinner with a large group of 10 and everyone's food and drinks were great and excellent service, can't wait to go back.

I had my birthday here— just a heads up for larger parties they would only do a family style for 50 a person!! The food however was GREAT and i left more than satisfied! When they brought our main course I was worried because I thought the main course was the appetizers! BEYOND stuffed by the time these got here. The server was also kind :)

We ordered for the table and chef accommodated our dietary restrictions. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was very good and server was friendly. Ambience is nice. Good place to dine for a special occasion.
