OYO Hotel McAlester OK S Main St

Stayed here for two weeks
Have nothing negative to say.

Staff at the hotel went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. They met my every need and requests ! Rooms had microwave and fridge which was soo helpful.

Highly recommend.

Very adequate!! Clean bathroom, comfortable bed, refrig & microwave that worked, and heating cooling that worked. We only expected a place to sleep for 8 hours…. And saved money $ to spend on the rest of our trip!

We found excellent rate on Priceline ... it's more of a motel than hotel... if you are looking for a good basic, no frills, hotel at a really affordable price this is a good bet ... the room was clean and looked like it was recently remodeled... the staff was professional and courteous... I do have 2 complaints: the first being they require a $50 deposit even though I paid with credit card but it was refunded to me at check out ..so even if you don't pay in cash be prepared to have additional $ money at check in for the deposit.. 2nd complaint is that they do not have vending machines on property..they do have a microwave and fridge in room so you can bring your own sodas and snacks if you are better prepared than I was (I'm a bit grumpy until I get first Pepsi of the day) also for you coffee drinkers; there isn't a coffee pot in the room . . Not too sure if they have a pot in the lobby for guest or not. Anyway, rooms are clean and location is convenient...also we were able to pull right up to our room & park just outside the door which was nice. Oh one more thing ...it was a crazy hot, humid day but when we walked into the room the ac was set at 68° and blowing the cold air on high which was glorious to walk into. ..

Perfect if you don't want to pay for big hotel on main streets. Quiet Street a few minutes from McAlester. Yes some noise from delivery trucks in morning but who wants to sleep in when you have McAlester on your doorstep! No noise in the lounge which had king size bed and overlooked swimming place. All staff were helpful and especially the breakfast lady who was a delight first thing in the morning. Plenty of room for our family of five in king suite. Good security.

Was a excellent stay! The room was very clean and the staff was more then helpful! There is coffee ready on the mornings!! I absolutely loved my stay and would recommend to anyone

Older motel, but nicely maintained and very comfortable. Check in and out was easy, and staff was friendly. Quiet location off the main highway. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are great for the price constant hot water, lovely staff, didn't see any bugs, my one complaint no king size beds in smoking section only 2 full beds for smoking and my gf and I would like to snuggle..

We only had a one night stay at McAlester OK S Main St but it was an excellent choice. First, the location is less than a block from the central and a couple of blocks from the City. Second the staff was excellent, very helpful with dealing with storing luggage, calling taxis, and giving tips on where to go.

This hotel has a great location just minutes from the main sites yet in a quiet street. it’s friendly staff made for a very pleasant stay, breakfast was varied and plentiful, the rooms were very clean and had toiletries, they also had coffee in the room, also a very good shower.

Reception staff was extremely helpful and friendly; they booked a flamenco show for us and gave several useful recommendations. Great stay, I would return and an added bonus was the sweets in the reception area

We enjoyed a two night stay at McAlester OK S Main St and found it to be the perfect base from which to explore McAlester. You're right in the heart of the old town, literally a stone's throw from the central and the City. You can walk to all the main sites, or use the nearby tram to Place (a must visit!) the helpful girls at reception will give you a map, tips and information. .

This is the ONLY hotel you should be staying at if you want to be in the middle of all the McAlester tourist attractions. Located within a block of everything...McAlester walk of fame, Dolby Theater, tours, shopping and restaurants. Roof location with bar was awesome and room and bathroom were spacious.

Really great hotel. Very high standards. Very central to everywhere. Deserves a much higher rating. Breakfasts fantastic. Rooms and hotel spotless. Staff very accommodating and pleasant. No problem staying here again..

Don't let the outside fool you. They have remodeled all the rooms. Very nice. The cost of an overnight stay will fool you. Cheap, but great rooms

The manager was amazing he waited for me to check in passed the check in time and very kind and helpful a d the room was lovely and comfy so was the bed I will definitely be staying here evey time I come thru town thanks 👍Me and muy fiance are very pleased with the stay

The hotel is located right by the central which is a great area, close to bar and much local landmarks.The service at the hotel are excellent and the rooms are furnished to a high quality. The staff are very helpful and we would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting McAlester

Welcoming, Professional, Friendly, Comfortable, Amazing!!!! A beautiful and luxurious home away from home. The staff on all levels are genuine and of the highest quality in the hospitality industry!

Clean, cheap, newly renovated, and the exterior is well it. There is a train track nearby but no trains passed during the night. Maybe there is a city quiet hour?

I don’t think I am gonna spend my honeymoon here, but for the price it’s not bad to spend a night here !

Very clean rooms and the staff are super friendly. The best part is they are very affordable
